I've always been a proud Canadian, but felt a disconnect, due to the prominence of American pop-culture in my childhood, as well as the steady increase of its influence on Canada since then. Over the last few years, I've made it a mission to consume more Canadian content as well as be more involved in supporting local businesses, and the community as a whole. I'm proud to say how many more artists I can identify since it's original release! Also, it's cool to note, just how many Canadian artists held a huge place in my formative years, but went unknown all this time. The moral of this story: Our nation has a LOT to offer, we just have to get the message out there! 🇨🇦🍁♥️

I didn't think it was humanly possible for Josh Ramsay to sound better live than he does recorded, but the first time I saw them live blew me out of the water and proved me wrong. I've seen them twice since and both times he's also sounded even better live. That isn't true of most musicians these days because so many use autotune and other features.
