Welcome to "Gulf Adventures: Cycling Towards Abu Dhabi - A Journey of Camaraderie and Exploration with CYCLE BABA". Join me on a mesmerizing journey as I ride towards Abu Dhabi, starting my day at 7 AM with the radiant sunrise at a petrol pump. Despite the previous night's storms, the day promises new adventures.
As I embark on my ride, Siri guides me towards Abu Dhabi, with only 200 km left at 8 AM. The morning weather, although challenging with late sunrises and adverse conditions, adds an extra layer of excitement to the journey. Amidst the winds and oil wells spanning 700 km, my trusty truck becomes a steadfast companion.
Along the way, I encounter the unique flavors of the region, indulging in pre-packed butter Paneer from Haldiram, albeit facing challenges in warming it due to the relentless winds. Despite the risks, every milestone is a triumph, with periodic stops to navigate through highway changes and weather improvements.
A serendipitous encounter awaits as I meet fellow Indian cyclist Mr. BALDEV Singh , GUDDA SINGH & I Ansari, a fellow KZheadr documenting his travels from India to Mecca. Our camaraderie blossoms amidst discussions on travel, writing, and the shared passion for exploration.
The highlight of the day unfolds as a friend from Abu Dhabi surprises us with homemade food, adding warmth and hospitality to our camping experience near Ibrahim restaurant, nestled behind the petrol pump.
Join me in the next log as we continue our journey, fueled by camaraderie, adventure, and the spirit of exploration.
