A great review Lauren it tell people all they need to know about the car. Well Done!! 😊
I had one for an afternoon to test drive, have to say it's outstanding for the price. I did nearly 100 miles on a mix of roads, including motorway and it returned nearly 70 MPG. The engine cut in for very short periods to top the battery up. It was very quiet and smooth throughout and the park assist works the best of any I've used in the past. I've ordered one in Tekna spec as they are available right away.
I think it’s unlikely for most drivers to average 70 mpg, I think 55 mpg (uk) is probably more likely. Maybe Nissan can comment?
We're glad you enjoyed the new e-POWER Qashqai.
@@westway thanks, I pick mine up this week from West Way Stourbridge
i love evs i cant wait for the upcoming mazda ev with a wankel engine rex, it is vital to have a plug in choice for economy and non pollution .
I tested one today and ordered a Tekna straight away.
Good review Lauren. As car enthusiast myself I view all online car reviews. I Like the Nissan qashqai e-power Came across westway Nissan and viewed the reviews from yourself and others from Westway. Keep up your good work and do more reviews.
A very good family car made in the UK. I’ve owned one for 3 years (diesel averaging 55 mpg) and I’m delighted with it.
Excellent review. Covered the features well and the diction was clear.
I had mine today I love it’s ceramic grey with black roof
Excellent video and well presented by Kelly
Waiting for mine to arrive really impressed me
Thank you for the Video. Yesterday i bought one in Reutlingen, Germany.
I had one as a loan car for 3 days whilst mine was having some work done. Took it back when collecting mine, went to sales before leaving and bought one within 2 days. Now awaiting the delivery
We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time with Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER. We have no doubt you're excited to take one home!
Excellent video well done👍👍👍
GREAT REVIEW, AND TEKNA IS THE SPEC TO GO FOR. 👍🏽
Looks like a good car. I saw one the other day parked up at the shops and seeing it in person, it does look nice 👌.. good review btw
Good review Lauren, you covered many interesting points other reviews don't especially inside the cabin. I've ordered a Tekna today after we took one out for a test drive.
Definitely go for the Tekna, the HUD is amazing!
Well done..great review..
Thanks Chris
What a wonderful review ! Being a German I love your accent thinking are Australian people speaking the same way ? I ordered this car and enjoy all tests I can find on KZhead. But never was so surprised with such an amazing voice.
Great video, I have my epower on order from your Birmingham dealership, and hope to get it within the next few days. (It's actually due in to the dealership to tomorrow, Tues 16/5/23).
amazing better than opel ampera ! opel never did any ad about ampera car ! thks Nissan I will buy it
Brilliant review and better still done in our own Black Country accent.
What is that accent more specifically?
@@hughoxford8735 Sounds like a Dudley/Stourbridge accent
Yes I liked Lauren’s Black Country accent. Something to be proud of. Like I’m proud of my Manc accent. Also a great car review.
Super
Looks a great car. The Qashqai just gets better and better. Really like my 2019 1.3 turbo Qashqai, but this is on another level. Great review from Lauren.
Thanks Brian!
Hey Lauren, you have an interesting accent. It seems to be a cross between west midlands and maybe west country?
Very good insight - how far can I go on Electric only ?
About 1 mile
its always on electric- but consistent charging from petrol engine. So you can drive a EV wo the fear of range.
@@mala5914 yes, seems battery is almost pointless at first sight, efficiency wise. It could drive with gasoline generator directly all the time. charging and using same energy again seems inefficient. Battery can get some charge from braking and it is used as buffer mostly. That is why engine has two compression ratios, for efficiency (charging), and for direct output to the electric motor. I guess engineers took all into account, since results are not that bad for 140KW output and performance.
@@jithinjames6612 cant wait for the upcoming mazda with a wankel rex engine......perfect, no range desperation and cheap home charging...
Will it tow a caravan?
Qashqai for me please.
What colour is this one please?
This is ceramic grey, Katherine. :)
what price ? well done Nissan
Depends on the grade - The Acenta Premium is from £32,950, we do also offer finance.
Milage?
c est fait j ai passé cde delais fin mars
Young lady I do like your accent.
I really like the car, was gonna get one but there’s a face lift coming out, can you tell me when that will be?? Very good review, specially the self parking as I’ve never seen that demonstrated before! Cheers and thanks for a great video.
A full pollution EV well done nissan.... cant wait for the upcoming mazda with a wankel rex engine......perfect, no range desperation and cheap home charging...
Pipe down ya melon.
Need to mention what trim level this is, we can't all afford top of range.
Average 42.3 MPG on the display, not too efficient...
Using a 90% efficient electric motor for traction does not change the fact that the efficiency of the intern combustion engine is lower than 30% (and worse when cold). And of course the 42.3 MPG implies pollution, CO2, and a high running cost. Furthermore it is an SUV, the MPG gain from the regenerative braking is smaller than the MPG waste due to the aerodynamic and weight. So to save your money, your children and the planet, a small efficient (fully) electric car is a quite better choice.
@@didierpuzenat7280 Using your fully electric vehicle you queue up for an hour at a charge point before even plugging in.. Meanwhile, your petrol/electric model is refuelled in 5 minutes and on its way..
@@briantitchener4829 Wrong, charging just takes 4 seconds, the time to plug, at home and even during long trips. I have been driving an EV for 20 years and I never had to wait to charge and even during the charge. But I do not except you to understand, and I do not plan to waste time explaining. Last Monday the IPCC published its last report and, to summarize, the future of our children is doomed, thanks to all people who cannot stop their stupid addiction to petrol.
only 7miles full electric / ? low
Should mention what trim your reviewing. Electric tailgate only comes with Tekna and Tekna Plus?
