this video was released 17 years ago today who is here ?
hard to forget this album
2021 and still not more than 5 million views. It's a shame how underrated this amazing band is...
so crazy to think that I am now about as old as the voices of my childhood were when I first listened to them. man, I miss the 2000s. it's obviously just nostaliga, but man, the world wasn't as broken and complicated back then.
The people that should be here are and that’s all that matters.
Billy talent is for eternity .. for me anyway ☺️
I found this song cause its played while i game on spotify but i always forget to like it, so i ended up googling "Surrender every thought every sound" and google was like "Heres the song stuck in your head" and here I am lol finally in my playlist
One of the few times this statement is true. People say that about Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed and I want to spew in their face. They're not underrated. They have plenty of recognition. However, I'm yet to meet someone else who's heard of Billy Talent and they're among the first I introduce then to.
One of the most underrated bands of all time
❤Yes, A CLEAR VOICE, ❤,UNLIKE THAT TRASH METAL, WICTH SOUNDS LIKE COOKIE MONTER TRYING TOO SING, CAN'T UNDERSTAND.,?.👿,
Yeah and it shouldn't be like that..
they are my childhood and still are im still growing up and listening to the masterpiece that is their music it got me through tough times
Yeah I agree. A good friend of mine actually has been a fan of them for so long and he actually saw them live a while ago and at the time I used to think that they probably have to be super well known and that they have sold so many albums already but when you look at the numbers it seems that they are still super underrated. I know that you shouldn't concentrate too much on the numbers cause at the end of the day its about the art itself and not just about the numbers but still. But its great to see that they are still keeping on truckin after all this time.
Unfair life
Never noticed how underrated this song is.
one of the most popular from them with Fallen Leaves and Viking Death March. this had like 20-30million views before.

I hope bands like Billy Talent start popping back up in 2022, we need this perfection back.

"This flower don't belong to me" What a beautiful metaphor😌
26 years old and I still feel much younger from the inside. The depression never vanished one just learns how to live with it. Achieving things that are beneficial helps.
You just described 1:1 how I feel. I'm 24 and feel the exact same. Found a new awesome well paying job nearby. Still feel like shit everyday. Just living but not really.
29 y.o here, same situation.
holy shit i found it. i vividly remember hearing this song a decade ago in my friend's basement on his dad's cd player. bruh i don't even remember my friends name but i remembered the lyrics to this song and i never tried actually searching for the song by typing in the lyrics until now and it was like the 9th result that came up in the search. so happy i found it, legitimately sounds just as good as it did when i first heard it a decade ago
One might say... You found a flower... in a field of weeds
@@darkfrost2222 True
ohh that is such a good feeling. there's a song from my youth I've been hunting down bro. I can't remember the title, but I can sing it word for word, it haunts me lol.Glad you found it.

Thx, just one thing, I think you missed "(Surrender)" on line "every word, every thought, every sound.
Thanks, just found this masterpiece! And as non native-speaker i appreciate lyrics to read!
His voice is unique
yup. Never heard anyone sound anything close to Ben. Bad ass rock band
Ian se lleva el protagonismo le da el toque único y serio.
En realidad se complementan.
Reminds me of Billie joe Armstrong post American idiot
Both of them are mate, Ben's got that classic Tom DeLonge nasal vocal style going on whereas Ian D'sa somehow manages to sound like a robot in the best possible way
This has been haunting me for year, but never could remember enough of the lyrics in order to find it.... until today.
such a good feeling if you finally found it xD
sick man! :D hope 'dem goosebumps weren't too strong c;
A couple of years back, I spent hours taking two words I remembered and finally found it. Lol, so good I did too. It made me very happy to see all their music again
Been listening to their music for 16 years and already seen them live 3 times, I'm still not over how great their work is and can't describe what they did for my soul personally in all those years
That’s awesome man!
About the same time for me and never had the chance to see them live 😭
I'm listening to them also for 16 years old! It started from "Fallen Leaves", heard it on the radio :))) I've seen them few days ago for the first time in my life and I'm so happy :))
I'm 55, one of my best bands. Up with The Cure and Bowie. Standing time. Love these guys work n words. Amazing after 20 years
Hats down my all time fav song since it came out. I will turn 30 this year and I can't express how happy I am that I was able to grow up with Billy Talent. Keep rocking, both the band and the people reading this! 🤘
Older brother used to hear those songs when i was 11 years back then. By mistake cam across this song and i don't know if i am the only one but do you guys feel this tingle inside your head accompanied with nostalgia if you hear old songs you used to love?
still hits my heart after all those years
me too man
Underrated band and album.
2022 ... and nostalgia hits hard still...
I feel this so much
2023 Nd I agree 👍
I'm here for the emotionally charged rock n roll and I think I'm addicted ❤
i never had the nerve to ask, has my moment come and passed?
I recently found a Billy Talent I burned in 2009ish. I played the shit out of that CD driving around with my high school friends. What a punch of nostalgia.
Old gold days 😌
Ian and Jon always make the songs perfect with their backround singing:D
yeeeah ^^♡♡♡
+Justus E so true
Ya but.... jon could use some vocal lessons hes a good bassist but he can get better at singing tbh he has a deep voice
@@Koragh_ He can sing well but it sounds bad because his mic is usually quiet so he as to yell out his vocals

This track is truly timeless. Ben and Ian's voices never fail to give me instant goosebumps.
This high, clean sound of the word "surrender". Man would I be glad to be blessed with an angels voice

such a fun song to play on guitar, can never get enough of Ian's riffs, this shit never gets old
👍✌️
This song saved my life. Words can't describe, how much I love this band. So good, so underated
Esta banda es tremendísima 🔥🎸🔥🎸🔥🎸🔥
This song is so simple and smooth, that it makes my heart ache. And Ben's voice is the icing on the cake.
Just heard the song today playing on the radio while I was driving home. A few Years ago I lost a very important person for me to wrong friends and drugs and when 2:00 came up it hit me hard. This Loss was devastating and it will always hurt remembering. Still I love this song since I grew up with it and always liked it. It just got a whole new level of meaning for me now.
"Every word, every thought, every sound... Every touch, every smile, every frown..." I feel like this could be a perfect tagline for my comic.
I heard this on Radio Antennae and was driving in the car so I couldn't see who it was. Fast forward to yesterday again I was listening to Radio Antennae and driving home and this song came on and I wrote it down at the traffic lights. And now it is on my playlist and saved list on here. I wish that it was played here on radio in Western Australia but as always good music is left out... Love this song and this band... Never knew it was that old...
Who's here in 2033 & still listening??? 🤘 👇
i'm listening to it in 2029 and it's still a banger
Love my Mississauga boys. Streetsville was my stomping ground, growing as a teen. Both my brothers and cousins went to Mount Caramel. I couldn't go there cause the school district sent me else where, even though Caramel was closer. 13 years ago, my son wouldn't nap until I turned on Fallen Leaves! Stay safe and keep on rockin'
Still love Billy Talent 15 years later
17 years old, still feels brand new ❤❤
Congrats on 5 million views!
2021 and can't stop listening to it, especially the refrain 🤍
Makes me happy when I'm angry or sad
Dude I can't believe how the f** it's underrated like this, such a good song...
Eine sensationelle Band die ich auch life erleben durfte. Was für ein mega Abend! Jedem zu empfehlen!!! ❤️
Billy Talent is so underrated man it's unreal
We first listened to this when we were kids. Now we're in our 30s and 40s. The older I get, the more I understand this song.
you guys got me thru some of the lowest of lows. now i will be seeing you live later this year! hello from the 905
I love Ian D'sa's guitar riff in the beginning. All his playing is nothing like I've ever heard before, you can only find guitar playing like this in BILLY TALENT.
I love how Ian recorded his own back up vocals. It makes live performances feel like a studio recording.
This song will never die, still the same after 18 years
Honestly, how the hell isn’t this song a huge hit? With soo many other amazing tracks to back it… i dont get it
Has my moment come and passed? I never had the nerve to ask
I'm an old Billy Talent fan and they are as amazing as the first time I listened.
i've tried to play guitar part of this song and realized how talent Ian D'Sa was when he played and sang backup without looking in live stage..
Year 2024 and still vibing. Everything about this music feels so nostalgic ❤

Wow wow wow. I'm so glad I found this gem ❤🤘
come on 2023. This is the song we need these days! bring back the old school talent.
This song has been through most of lifes up and downs with me. I am glad we are both still here and have been visiting these songs more often in these times. Music is not only a medicine it can also be a friend in the dark.
This band has been making music since my parents were teens and now im listening to these guys every day. im now 12 not a teen but close and i will always listen to this band lol.
your parents have brought you up well... commendations are in order
You got good taste in music my dude, but if you start feeling sad with this band or any band take a break for a while
i remember coming home from a party with some friends to one of their houses. friends house had a ton of guitars and me and this one girl spontaneously busted out this song. I played guitar and she sung it. One of my buddies was blown away and asked to hear it again so we played it twice lol I walked her to the bus stop after and was too big a wuss to kiss her, totally could have too. I always wonder what coulda been from that. Im happy with a girl now, 3 years coming soon. But i still wonder what could've been when i hear this song.
2024 and this is still a banger
