I don't care for the ref in this one. Calls time to tell them to fight, but If guys is grabbing fence, he should have called time to warn him specifically. By forfeiting the position, he knows what NOT to do. Instead, he was given advantage and takedown. From the ground, it was Ngalani's job to improve position though.

in the ufc referees account for like a dozen early stoppages.. there should be better coaching or something done about this
Reug Reug = Typical cheater... his opponent is doing fine, staying active and feeling Reug Reug out, there was no reason for the ref to command them into contact. Reug Reug benefits from that ridiculous referee decision and commences to secure a takedown by grabbing the fence (which the ref seems to allow) and then lands a good potion of his shots to the back of Alain's head. Its fights like this, the Menace Zamboanga tourney debacle and the blatant favoritism given to Evolve MMA/Lee family fighters which keeps ONE at the side/freakshow level. They will never establish themselves as a true, top tier destination for fighters and fans until they address these intentional deficiencies.

@@brotherinthewind9757 I honestly think they'll always be a decent location for the lighter weight classes. Also will always favor the Evolve fighters. Given that I don't think they'll ever reach the next level. I believe they will remain stagnant. Also think they should stop allowing kicks and knees to the head of a downed opponent. Stay strong and healthy.

Then reug reug rushes into range pushes ngalani up against the cage, grabs the fence, grabs the shorts, grabs the fence again. Finally gets the takedown and then wins easily with ground and pound
