He really doesn’t. Other than the fact he’s made from boot leather Chito doesn’t bring much to the table. He’s a decent kicker, no grappling, and minimal boxing. O’Malley should defeat him 50-45.

Correction: O’Malley is a known quantity over 3 rounds. He’s never gone past 3 rounds. He didn’t finish strongly against Yan. His cardio is also still suspect. Can he dance and switch continuously over 5 rounds. His movement is dynamic but we saw even with Cruz, you can’t keep up that footwork over 5 rounds and Chito KO’d him in the 4th. O’Malley may win but I don’t think it will be a dominant display until the end. Chito drops people with jabs. Chito is also the more fundamentally sound striker which is why he carries his power late into fights. It’s more about technique and timing.

To be fair I also believe suga gassed out more against Yan because of Yan non stop takedown attempts. The reason I wouldn’t even compare Cruz to Suga in this instance is because Cruz movement is so predicable, he has already been solved by a lot of guys. I think that if Chito tries to be technical he will lose 9/10 times, Chito needs to choose his best attributes which is pressure, timing, power and his amazing chin. If Chito can make o malley worry early he will make it look easy

If Vera, checks Sean's chin he will get Knocked out. If Sean, checks Vera, chin he will still be standing. Sean, can't afford to have full 5rd. Vera, breaks him down and Finishes him if this goes full 5rd. I got VERA 📃💵

This is a very interesting fight because both of these dudes are really good in their own unique ways that it makes it a very very interesting match up. Either guy can win. BTW just saying that when Sean has gotten the chance to fight longer, he's set highest striking records. So he has a unique ability to use feints offensively, high striking output alongside better cardio than most other strikers.) I give chito a ton of credit. Although if Cory & Merab weren't injured I feel like they deserved the title shot. People were complaining when O'malley got a title shot after Petr Yan. I haven't seen people complain about chito getting a title fight after beating Pedro and badly losing to Cory..

if Vera can work O’Malley’s body and legs with no less then 35-45 clean strikes in 1st & 2nd round then he might have Sean in a state open for a finish. but I am thinking O’Malley with a decision win
