    • Simone sims can’t usually move if the path is blocked. If your path is blocked you would move the object blocking it, but sims can’t do that so they usually die

    • Mine dont even go to the computers, I have an indoor gym in the basement of my sims house for my male sim, My female sim wanted to host a dinner party so I invite their friends and once they all got there instead of changing into their party clothes they change into their gym clothes immediately. My roast chicken was sitting in the middle of the table like "Am I a joke, I did not just spend my time getting cooked in the oven and garnished just for y'all to immediately workout when you get here"🤦🏾‍♀️😂 The struggle I went through to reset the party and sims🤦🏾‍♀️

  • Pro tip for those still playing Sims 2: You can turn off cinematic cutscenes (called the Life Event Camera, I believe) in the gameplay menu. I recently had to tell a friend about this when we comisserated about the childhood terror of having sims woohoo for the first time and having to cover the screen and pray our parents didn't come in.

    • lol In our defense, it's just not any fun using a rude introduction unless your Sim is evil or something. All it does is make whatever goal you're trying to accomplish slightly harder unless your goal was to start some shit (or see how hard it actually is to make friends and enemies.) Burning down the house, on the other hand, could be therapeutic... (Then again, I almost never intentionally set fires either.) XD

  • The sims is something I was able to bond with both my parents and my childhood friends over. I bonded with dad and my brother over gameplay and strategy, I bonded with mom over building, and my friends and I created our favorite characters to make them live in a big mansion together. Truly a family game.

    • I enjoyed it but I can see why some people might not. Living on campus added to the challenge but then getting to class on time is a pain and keeping track of the classes is only easy with Seasons. Plus it took an extra step to edit the dorms. And beyond that, the only fun it really added was during your college days. Once you get that diploma, there's no point in going back unless you're playing a legacy or you have some interesting personal goals. XD

    • Well, sometimes in the game it'll offer your Sim a pair of free earbuds, and I suppose that's what they meant, but still pretty weird lol.

  • my favourite memories with move objects in the sims 3 was the fact that you could put furniture at the bottom of a pool, and your sims would still use the furniture normally. it would often result in a sim swimming in the air for a bit and then using the furniture in the pool normally. the only issue was that the sims would sometimes get stuck in a swimming motion, making it so that they swam through the floor whenever they would go anywhere. the sims 3 was wild

  • The first meme about fire made me remember one of my favorite families in The Sims 4. I made a sim of the most hated character from my favorite anime and gave him a drop dead gorgeous wife cause he deserves love too. They had a beautiful son and one day the kitchen of the apartment caught fire and his first response was to grab his son and run out of the house while his wife did the weird dance before calling 911. 10 out of 10 best Dad. Claude Faustus 2020.

  • So- When you said that loading screen had anything it could at the bottom, there also was a mini game integrated with the sims 3 where you can earn points to unlock stuff in game with your family- Sims 4....Sims 4 has the loading screen tips but sims 3, had the mini game :3
