OMG, look how many comments are about "imagine how beautiful she was when younger." As an older woman, I know how much like "Thanks, I think" comments like that feel. Her "being younger" is history, folks. She's beautiful *_now_* and will be beautiful for her entire life. Thank you, Hindash. She has the same coloring as me, and this was so lovely and helpful to me, personally.

JackOllie4 thank you. We older women (I’m 59) well know how the years have changed us. What we don’t need are backhanded complements. Our gray hairs and lines tell our story. Crows feet and parentheses mean we have lived a joyful life (their caused by smiling). I don’t mind my wrinkles, but I don’t like when my foundation settles there and accentuates them.

Jack she definitely has some work done, here and there.
Unfortunately not everyone grays evenly like she has. Some people have wirey grays and others have a few specs here and there, while others still have uneven bands giving them almost a raccoon like effect. Regardless this is a gorgeous model and she’s done an amazing job of maintaining herself. It takes effort to look like that and I’m always impressed to see women who do that.

I’m 75 & never wore make-up til I divorced at 40. Just light liquid make-up over moisturizer. Learned to use eye-liner & layer mascara for thinning lashes. It’s great to hear people say I look 20 yrs younger. You really do feel good when you look your best! Thank you for this video! So many of us gals were never taught how to use make-up & we had to keep doing the hit & miss program 🤗💕

Nia's Edit, I have seen at least 3 articles on internet, or television talk shows, meaning the kind of article which is in a newsmagazine, but you can also subscribe digitally-- or newspapers which said the biggest market right now is women who are 40+ yrs old. There are increasing numbers in this audience demographic who are in 40s, 50s and beyond who are interested. The articles referenced the fact that this audience is more likely to be able to purchase the makeup, and especially more expensive brands, and products, than the teens and 25 yr olds who are still dependents (students, or young ppl just starting out) in many cases.
Now THIS is how you do mature makeup 🙌 I can’t stand seeing makeup artists cake mature faces. It makes them look like someone went ham with the airbrush tool in photoshop

To those who are saying "imagine how beautiful she was younger": Try to imagine yourself as an older woman with mature skin. Now imagine all the insecurities you have about yourself when comparing yourself to younger "prettier" faces. Older women are usually treated as broken toys that have a shelf life. It's probably hurtful to hear "wow you're beautiful, but I wonder how much MORE beautiful you WERE younger." I'm not attacking anyone who say these things. I just want to shed some light without harassing others.
You're right though! I really hate it when ppl think that's a compliment, like she's beautiful no matter her age. My mom was gorgeous when she was young and she still is. Age doesn't change that 🙄 the whole thing with women not being allowed to age irks me to no end, bc no one makes comments about the youthfulness of men the way they do about women and it's just tiring
I think people who says things like that have no malicious intent, they just don’t realize that it implies that the person has LOST beauty. Like “wow, you’re pretty but I bet you used to be WAY prettier” No one with any manners would say that, but it’s essentially what’s being said, however inadvertently. But at the heart of it, I think people truly mean to compliment so I try not to take it to heart when I get similar comments.
mochi there’s that idea that mature women are actually more prettier they are compared to the fully blooming roses or flowers aren’t they prettiest and a fruit which is ripe to expose its beautiful colours

This was great, but, uhhh, no way could I do all of this myself every day.😬 So many products! So many steps!! I’d love to have someone do this for me every day
I agree, they were way too many products used for the regular person. So I would probably use just half of those products. I usually moisturize in the morning, add a luminescent foundation, add a little blush, a little powder, a little glow on my cheeks and eyelids and then I just do a bit of a eyeliner to enhance my eyes. Sometimes I never even wear mascara. I am 68. I do like to put a little bit of color on my lips of course
You don’t need anyone to do your make up for you every day. You can do it yourself. I’ve been doing my own make up since I was a teenager. Nobody ever taught me anything. All you need is moisturizer, a cream foundation is the one that I use and a cream blush. Then a little pressed powder on top and Voila! You’re good to go.

He didn’t even her shape her eyebrows and imo shaped groomed eyebrows are important in completed look. .She has beautiful skin, has no wrinkles, no dark under eye circles! She needs nothing on her face! She is blessed! And he said he looked everywhere for a mature model. Look around, we mature woman are everywhere; please choose a model that looks like most other mature woman and show us how to do our makeup, bc makeup’s application is very different as you age. @@fourleaf8055 there is only so much hiding you can do all of the lines around your eyes with fillers-- eventually you have to get blepharoplasty--- but she is still young enough to benefit from Botox and fillers. Another 10 years and she will need blepharoplasty if she has not already had it done. Most people start young (40 , give or take 5 years either way depending on personal situation) if they're going to have work done, instead of waiting till they at an age, to which it will not make that much difference. A good board certified plastic surgeon will tell you that you should not wait until U R 60 or 65, & everything has fallen-- instead start by doing just a little bit when you are young, and keep taking care of that. A little at a time also keeps it looking natural.

He needs to find regular women with hooded eyes. He always works on beautiful women with big eyes. That's is why I don't like him. This is the first time I see him working with an older woman, but she is not regular and doesn't have hooded eyes.

As I'm aging I LOVE using powder for eyeliner, I realize eyeliner is about looking like the shadow of the lashes and not just a big graphic stripe. Wetting eyeshadow makes it deeper but can be blended like powder as it dries

The whole point of the makeup and the video is to celebrate beauty at any age, but then the picture has had all of her creases and wrinkles airbrushed out. She’s gorgeous and doesn’t need any post processing ❤️

gray I meant under-eyes as in eye bags not wrinkles so yes it most definitely makes sense
@@je9862 if you check the reference picture in the thumbnail her wrinckles around the mouth and the texture in her skin were airbrushed. And it seems they lightened the foundation color also, that is darker than her skin and a bit yellow undertoned.
deramara I saw the picture in the trending section where it was much larger and I could see that all her wrinkles were still visible. If he did edit it then it wasn’t with intention of blurring her wrinkles because on every other video the thumbnail has the same effect
I'm trying to learn how to do my grandmother's makeup since she becomes very downcast whenever she has to go out and see older friends. While I can do my own and even other's makeup okay, she presents a new set of challenges that I'm learning to work with. Thank you for this video! I hope some of these tools will help me to brighten my grandmother's day and reassure her that SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!
