  • I’m old enough to remember Shankly, Paisley passing, greats like Dalglish, Heighway, Keegan, Rush retiring or leaving. Even in the near past, Hyypia, Torres, Gerrard leaving and retiring. They all hurt, but in Klopps case, it’s different, it’s worse and jeez I’m going to miss him. In my own selfish way, I’m pi**ed off he’s leaving us, yet understand why he’s leaving. What a great manager and top human being. YNWA gaffer.

Being a corporate leader, I have learned so much from listening to him over the past 9 years. Before Klopp, I've only ever modeled my leadership and comminication style from thought leaders within the corporate world. But my god Klopp has taught me more about leadership than some of these leaders without even trying! An absolute legend! I would not trade him for Pep and his trophy haul with city at all! He has been an absolute treat to the club and has brought joy even without the same number of trophies. The single most impactful signing for sure in decades!

  • "I don't remember the bad times as bad times, it's just part of the journey" is such a simple yet intensely profound of a sentiment. Edit: I think that the very fact there’s people actively disagreeing here is an indictment of a toxic scourge in our culture that treats every situation as a power play in a zero-sum game. Hardship and vulnerability are treated as an exposable weakness and empathy and mutual understanding become undervalued to the broader ‘competition’ of the primitive archaic social paradigm which is ultimately completely in your mind. It’s absolutely a pathetic mindset and you should really learn something from people like Klopp.

The 'slip' is now forever remembered regarding Gerrard, and Liv losing those 2 CL finals in unjust circumstances and losing the league on the last day twice (so far) are as much part of the Klopp / Liv story as the stuff we've won.

She is the complete journalist. He will probably have a good rest and next year become German national team manager. All the best to you Jurgen.

  • I must’ve watched every single press conference since he came in charge. Listening to him at least twice(if not more) a week it is in my blood now. It will be greatly missed at Liverpool. He will certainly have a statue in Liverpool. If some big TV Chanel will have the patience to create a top of the views/listenings for the greatest managers in the last decade, I’m 100% sure that Klopp will win it by a very far distance. My greatest respect to him! YNWA

  • He is so good that he needs a bigger job than managing a football club. He has to be something bigger. Maybe like a nation’s leader. He has the ability to transform a whole nation I think. He can school the leaders on more humane, optimistic approach to manage and lead. Very introspective, optimistic views towards life and leadership in general while being inspirational at all times.

    @nahcold3900@nahcold3900Ай бұрын
    • Sorry, I must disagree with your comment abouit him being a nation's leader. He wears his heart on his sleeve, is very sensitive, and too honest..., all the attributes that a Politician must NOT have or be! But, as you say, he would be excellent at schooling the world's Leaders.

      @millinutz@millinutz20 күн бұрын
    • @@millinutz totally agree with what you said. Maybe nation’s leadership is a stretch too far but what I was trying to reiterate is that he should be doing more important things. He has the ability, charisma, intellect, heart, emotions or drive a large mass to a direction. And it looks like he surrounds himself with absolute brilliant people and he constantly encourages them to research and go beyond and he’s eager to learn from them too.

  • As a Liverpool fan, I really miss Jurgen. He's got such a positive spin on life and a very tactical mind when it comes to football. I'll probably get pelters for this but Klopp is a manager for the people. He understands what makes Liverpool tick. His tactics are on par with Pep's despite not having the same Whereas Pep is pretty much ADHD in his focus on things. For me if Liverpool or Arsenal win the title it's a win win as I just despise citeh.
