  • Fergie seemed to take over the world in 2006 and 2007, I had 3 moments where I kept hearing a dope song on the radio with All That I Got, this song and Clumsy and each time i was thinkin "this is dope who is this?" If I wasn't locked up I would've already got this classic album after I heard this absolutely classic song, but after I heard Clumsy I asked my girl to get the album for me and she brought it to me a few months later when she came and visited me and I played the living hell out of it, the worse thing about having a Classic as your debut in really any profession is that you most likely are going to have a very hard time following it up and me personally I rather start solid and then work my way up to a classic and/or masterpiece..Fergie unfortunately wasn't able to live up to this album though she, unlike some with the same issue, also had a very successful career with B.E.P. before and after this so it ain't quite as bad..this is one of a very rare few albums I love so much I can throw it on and not want to skip 1 track, they had to have known they had major hits on their hands with Fergalicious and especially Big Girls and Glamorous and Fergie deserved the success and really much better respect from the critics but I over the half time don't agree with them anyway, whether it's them calling an album a Masterpiece or Straight Dog Shit

  • I remember back in 2008 when my mother would work nightshifts at the refineries I'd have to stay the night at my cousin's ranch. I once woke up late at night around maybe 1 or 2 am. Everyone was already asleep by this time. & as I entered the kitchen I heard this song bein played on the radio that was on top of the counter. I was only 7 then. I'm 20 yrs old now & it strikes me very hard knowing how fast time has passed. It's heartwrenching. It makes me cry..Never take nuthing for granted in life.
