Thanks for the effort you put into this! It's been fun learning (finally) how to solve the rubik's cube. The only step I had trouble committing to memory was step 7 "around the thumb". I finally came up with a method which made it simple to memorize and I'd like to share it with you and your fans. I assigned the three motions a letter - clock = A, Counter = B, and Flip = C. Using this code I came up with the sentence - Before A party Buy Carrot And Banana Cream Cakes. Works for me, hope it helps others! Cheers! Sëan

Great series of tutorials! I had a few instances when solving Step 7 where after the sequence the last row of colors all match and it’s a matter turning the top row to its correct side without the need for step 8.

Hey, when there isn’t any corner matches then align a corner with the edge like 1:55 and while yellow is at front then pattern goes right top right down and pretend it’s going forever, then do clock counter counter clock, clock clock counter counter, clock clock counter clock, Clock Counter Counter Counter,

Double check the sides of the cube. Make sure all the steps are still solved. Always put the completed corners in the back. If you have two matching orange corners, than those orange corners will go in the back. After you do the main moves, if it didn’t solve, then choose the same corners you used before. Put them in the back again. If it doesn’t solve, be sure to put those same original corners in the back once again. (Stick to the same corners each time. If you choose new corners, it will loop forever.)

so after step 6 i ended up with the red side solved, green side with the top layer blue in the middle and orange on the right side, orange side on the top layer is blue on the left side orange in the middle and green on the right side, for the blue side on the top its orange on the left side green in the middle and blue on the right side, what do I do then, I almost messed up on step 6 and almost had to restart all the steps again so I want to make sure I'm doing this right so I don't have to do it all over again

Urgh done it some many time and it just always leaves 2 squares not matched up. Tried the diagonal switch but still doesn't work. All but 2 squares.
Double check the sides of the cube. Make sure all the steps are still solved.
Would it not solve if two middle piece "covers" have been switched over, but are still opposite the correct opposite colour? For example the yellow and white centre piece have switched over? Followed all the steps and have come out fine, just the last step in step 8 where we have two pieces never getting in their right place.
@@thetimster99 *Looping on step 8?* Choose a side (most completed side) to put in the back. Remember that color. Then, stick with that same side each time until it solves. I tried solving it for the second time and accidentally solved it at this stage. I even disappointedly thought first that oh, it's not columns but solid colour and then I moved it around and realised it was solved 🫣😂🤣 So my first time solving it was today and now also the second time and both with the help of these videos 😁

I have a corner of the red on the green side
If you have to red corners, spin the top to match the red side. If you have one red corner, ignore it. Find the side with two matching corners and put it in the back. If there are no matching corners, it doesn't matter what side goes to the back.
