  • This 53 year old Black man, whose personally lived through a lot of traumatic experiences because of racism in our country, thanks you from the bottom of his heart. You didn’t have to take this position. You certainly didn’t have to vocalize your position and risk marring your own reputation and success with your viewers. So thank you for being a good man, Casey. I pray those who may not listen to me might listen to you.

    • Greetz from Germany. 1.Looting is not protesting. 2.Ignoring reality (interracial violence crime stats) is not helpful. 3.Calling out racism against afro Americans is hypocrite when you ignore there own racism. 4. A Victim mentality is not helpful at all. It's about responsibility to yourself and your society. Rip Georg Floyd

    • @@jabbers2126 Perhaps not racist for saying All Lives Matter, put often prejudiced or at the very least, ignorant. Yes, perhaps like you said, it's because people don't understand (ignorant) but I see something bubbling just below the surface that goes beyond simply not understanding. All Lives Matter seems to almost never be uttered unless it's a direct pushback against Black Lives Matter, as if the two are mutually exclusive. BLM (the phrase) is a plea, a demand and it does nothing to diminish the importance of other lives. It's not "BLM over any other lives" and so many white people seem to believe that, to have their defense up about it. Well, I'm guessing you might agree with all that already.

The majority of these BLM protests are peaceful. We have had multiple BLM protests in my county in NY located about an hour north of NYC and since all these protests started in May not one turned violent nor was there any rioting or looting. This goes for most of the protests that are taking place around the country. Not every protest is Portland, Kenosha, etc. That being said the BLM movement is fractured and many groups claiming to be part of the movement and who are protesting peacefully are making stupid demands such as retribution for slavery and other ridiculous things.

    • it's not no knock warrants that needs to be stopped, because there might be critical situations that it becomes necessary. It's the authorities that need reforming and training about how to handle the situation. The reason for Floyd’s death is not just racism, the way the cops handled the suspect even after having him on the ground was horrible. I can understand they might have training for restraining suspects by pressing knees against their neck. Just a quick search on police arresting suspects on youtube will bring up a similar way the police handle it. The lack of humanity from the police officer when Floyd said he cant breath, to see if he is okay or not instead of scoring another arrest in his book is the real reason here. It's not the law that needs to change, it's the people that need to change, especially the one who is in charge of taking care of the people. On top of that after doing something horrible, not having the guts to apologize made the situation even worse. If he publicly came out and admitted that he made a huge mistake and he will take responsibility for it would have made the situation much better compared to what is happening right now. Its same case with breonna taylor, because after the murder, the city and police force ganged upon the boyfriend because if the cops had to admit they made a mistake, the police force will lose their prestige and city have to pay millions towards the victim

If you choose to live with a drug dealer, you put yourself in danger when the cops come looking for the drugs. She did not deserve to die, but she put herself in that situation to be raided. She and her car had been to known drug houses multiple times for getting this warrant. When police serve no knocks and shots are fired nothing good is going to come of that.
