  • This is easy to learn actually. Break it into two steps and it becomes simple. Use middle finger to push pen over thumb and ot moves by itself. The longer the better the pen. Edit: dont worry guys if your pen is too small. It is the skill that matters.

    • Its actually not a skill learnable by everyone simply with time put in. Not every body has the same control over their motor functions to the smallest movement as the next person. So while you may be able to split your fingers like a Vulcan, or manage to move your fingers in the way needed to spin this, some may not be able to move their middle and pointer finger without making their ring or pinky move as well.

  • Step 1. Keep your thumb's knuckle level Step 2. Hold the pencil between your middle finger and thumb, use index finger for support so it doesn't tilt (the pencil needs to be in a straight, horizontal line) Step 3. Use your middle finger to push the pencil towards yourself so it'll spin around your thumb. (Not too fast or it'll be very difficult to catch and is more likely to fly off your hand) Step 4. Tilt your hand slightly forward so it'll fall between your thumb and index instead of flying off, make sure your index finger is ready to catch it. Step 5. Practice on actually catching it in time Make sure you're holding closer to the edge of the pencil as well, with the longer side away from your hand. That way it's less likely to catch on your fingers.

    • Ikr. I can actually do what he's doing already. It takes about a day or maybe a week for most people. All it takes takes to learn it is copying what you see in the video and doing it several times.

  • Step 1, familiarize urself with your pen (use the same kind) Step 2, familiarize yourself with spinning your pen around your thumbs and try to catch it. Just keep doing it till you can catch it 100% all the time. Step 3, try to use rotating force to spin your pen once more before catching it. Then familiarize yoursepf with it. Yea it's all about familiarizing urself, cuz we're talking about muscle memory here. (Me personally still in step 2 cuz i never tried step 3) Edit : step 3 is hard asf, maybe will take few month with full dedication.
