Surf fishing on Hilton Head Island is tons of fun for the whole family! This simple technique will ensure you make memories with your loved ones or you might even hook into a GIANT fish! Hold on TIGHT to your fishing rod! South Carolina has become a favorite fishing place of mine
Thanks for sharing the video! You might want to try 151b or 20lb Fluorocarbon leader materials, might find other fish go for it other than whiting/rays. Steel leaders are very visible to fish.
Beach and tennis is where we always stay. And get pretty good catches every time.
Yea its a nice spot for sure! small sharks, rays and whiting
I live here as well. Nice area
Funny thing about this video I’m staying where you are and fishing the surf in a few hours from now
Heck yea Goodluck man!! It’s a nice beach
@@thecreekcrawler Thanks got these tips my man helped me catch a few. I used to only fish the canals so surf is new to me. Appreciate it again. Also if you’re ever back here check out the pond for some bass caught numbers but not size sadly.
@@bigrodeo123 Yea I tried the ponds they have some HUGE reds in there!
Yo man. That outfit makes you look like a true fisherman. How did that Whiting work out as bait?
I slay fish with whiting chunks on the beach! I also took some to the canals and caught flounder on the chunks too!
Where are you along Hilton head beach I’m going to be traveling there this April and I want to know where I should fish on the beach
This was right off the beach at Folly field beach park! Tightlines!!
A moth ago I stayed at same resort it was nice but beach was crowded
Yea the beaches do get crowded!! That’s why I go fish the canals. I caught too much slack from beach goers when fishing on the beach
Have a story about using cut bait on HHI beach in Sea Pines and getting fined. You have Instagram or Twitter so I can DM?
Why does every whiting gut hook themselves!
Probably because we don’t notice their little bites before it’s too late. The tide and current make it tough to distinguish the bites
I live here
must be nice!! I love it when I get to visit! beautiful area
I'm on the island now, and can't find access spots.
