Question: On the screen shot for your video there is a picture of an iPhone with 4 camera lenses, it also says SE Ultra. Your video has no mention of any iPhone with 4 camera lenses and no mention of a SE Ultra so why would you use that in your video preview screenshot ?

I'm sure the SE 4 will be launched alongside the 16 lineup. The iPhone 13 and 14 will be both discontinued to make space for the SE 4 so all the iPhone lineup will be USB C to comply with the UE regulation.

I really wish there had been a spring event as my iPad Pro (2017) is dying and I need to make a choice between a new iPad Pro or iPad Air. Lastly it’s nice the see the SE could be joining the Face ID crowd. I just hope it’s a midrange price so people who need/want that price point can get it.
I’m also debating the air and pro (as a first time iPad buyer) so what’s your reasoning? I want the air 4th gen 256gb for the color or the pro would be 126gb for the speaker and stronger chip
@@stewpitedu7541I have the 64gb air 5, it’s great, but I should have chosen 256gb. I recommend you get the new air 6 with 128gb(if Apple raises the minimum memory) or 256gb version. Depending on the size just choose what suits you better.
owner of the SE 2020 since its release in Spring 2020, the new one can wait (2025? for a proper 5G connectivity, maybe with the same APU as the iPhone 2024, as they did with the SE 2020 ? and, I hope 6.1 OLED display, @90Hz+)
Awesome video! I do believe it was a good idea, not to have the spring event and just do everything by a press release online. I am definitely in the market for a new iPad. Early 2019 it is definitely time to upgrade. I’ve been preparing for a new iPad for the last few months. I’m just waiting on Apple to make it official and announce the release date. I do believe the iPhone SE does need a make over. I will definitely be going to the Apple Store as soon as the iPad Pro is available for purchase.

Don’t really care for the March event, but my mini-me deserves an upgrade to his iPhone SE and I’m genuinely looking forward to the introduction of 2024 version.
If you use face recognition - does it mean that it can run some function right after that if you move phone in some direction relatively to face? Or by showing to camera some part of face? - Some trajectory can be used for it. It can run car unlocking etc...

I remember Cydia! I had it installed on my iPad 1st gen. Although Apple allows side loading in the EU on iPhone, it isn’t supported for iPad unfortunately.
Glad I got my new SE a couple of months ago, because I like the home button. guess I'll be keeping this one until it dies. I hope it lasts a really long time! My husband has the iPhone without the home button. I've tried using it & I absolutely hate it! Whenever my Se wears out, I guess I'll see if they still have the model of phone that I now have & just get another one just like it, because I like the home button.
As a student with the iPhone SE 3rd generation I am eager to buy this new iPhone when it does come out, I wish not to drop 1,000 dollars on a phone, and this might check that box too, so I can't wait to get more info on this!
Cooling the M3 is going to be a real challenge in the iPad oled models. Heat isn’t good for screens so you can be sure the M3 will be highly sensitive to heat build up so throttling down speed will be common but if anything like the new M3 MacBook Air not really affecting performance thxs to the smaller M3 manufacturing process. Can’t wait to see them and what the prices will be.

I have an xR, my first ever iphone i got for christmas 2020 and now that im about to graduate highschool, the four years of use are definitely well spent However i need more than just one camera because my photos and videos on my Xr are lackluster, and especially if it doesnt have USB C i might be out
I think Apple have put off the possible March event because every blogger on you tube have been speculating and telling everyone they will be a March event, I think Apple has the second laugh lol . Not sure if I will pay the high price to replace my 2022 iPad Pro 12.9
Would like to have had the event. If there is nothing to say that is worthy to have the event with then that tells you something about Apples development or lack of. Also Final Cut Pro continues to be a disappointment with lack of effort and desire. Thanks Tim.
I got a iPhone 14 Pro Max with a Apple Watch Ultra and a 2022 iPad and a 2020 MacBook Air, I’m beyond happy with them but I also can’t wait of what to see what they upgrade!

I doubt all of the product will be announced unceremoniously. My theory is that the only reason they planned an event is the iPad Pro M3 and other devices are just underwhelming sidegrade. I think the M3 iPad Pro got delayed to June and thus the remaining are press released. SE 4 is still pushed to 25 though.
I have the iphone se3 but if the rumors are true about it getting the same chassie as the iPhone 14 which would be accompanied with a larger screen and battery I'm already all for it. But I'm hoping it's not an OLED display. They're waaay too expensive to produce and as such would dramatically increase the overall price of the iphone se4. LED screens look good enough, afterall, this is a low-end smartphone not a high end one. Also if the rumor is true about it getting a single 48megapixel rear camera, damn, that's a drastic leap from 12 megapixels. Wonder which chip it would have thoug?

I hope they reuse the iPhone 13 mini chassis. I don’t want a large phone. I use my phone for phone things and go to my iPad Pro for a larger screen and power.
1. Looking for new ipad lineup 2. I am hoping for OLED. But I hope that apple won’t go crazy pricing the ipad line up in a very expensive price increase (but I do believe that apple won’t price it too high probably a $0-$100 increase) 4. I am hoping too see your perspective on the iPhone SE but if it were to happen all at once then I am not gonna an SE version this year but probably next year either before iPhone 17 line up of with the iphone 17 line up to lunch. This is just all I am expecting with apple product line up.

I want them to do the iPhone SE plus which is just like the 8+ but it has 5G and it’s going to be supported for a longer time than if you were to go buy it iPhone 8 Plus essentially just a refreshed iPhone 8 Plus

Since they are refusing to give us a phone without an oled screen, I will probably go the frankenphone route and buy a used 13 and have an lcd screen put on it.

The SE4 may just twist my arm for a return after 5 years in Sansung land. If it does have the leaked and supposed specs such as face ID, OLED 6.1" screen, action button & USB C I'd highly consider a return at an affordable price point.

The new models get an insane price tag and also the price of the predecessor doesn’t change in my country so there was no need to wait. iPhone SE 4: would be amazing if the rumors are true. I hope the price stays the same.
Im still on 13 Mini... SE may entice me. Really just need iMessage and to pass data to my iPod so I can answer calls on a small device that fits in my lady hands comfortably. iPod carries more of my files. Phone can hold mostly apps. Never want to pay for iCloud storage and want the smallest device I can get my tiny hands on.

Exactly! Someone had to say it. You couldn't have explained this better. Definitely need the m2 upgrade with 16gb of memory from my m1 MacBook Air. As far as the M3 vs M2 Chip It's the same chip; but better because of dual split cooling on the M2 Chip. Same cpu and gpu cores. Extra 512 gb for free with 15' screen and keyboard so better typing and comfort!

We need an SE PRO, some of us love the smaller size, but don’t want to be crucified just because we want a smaller iPhone. If it came down to it I’ll take the features over size. But I’d love a small, but fully featured phone……
Apple seems like they don’t know which way they want to go with the iPad lineup. I wish SE iPhone would come in 13 mini chassis.
I don't think SE 4 will come this year since SE 2 and 3 will most likely get iOs 18, so they may leave SE 4 for next year when at least SE 2 users (here I am 😜) will have to switch to a new phone, but if they launch SE 4 this year it might mean that they might drop support to SE 2 starting from this year so it won't get too slow with an heavy update 😀

I know most people didn't like the smaller size of the old phones, but I was one who enjoyed a 5.4-inch phone. Phones are not meant to be books in your pockets. That's what a tablet is for. Or can't we get a 2.5-inch-wide flip phone that flips open to a 5.6-inch-long phone? I want a slim Captain Kurk-type smartphone. I know it must seem like I'm asking for the world but there must be more people like me who want the same or something similar. Shit, I hate that every model of phone just keeps getting bigger every year.

The first iPhone SE came out in 2016. Four years before the SE 2. There is no clear pattern of SE releases.

If iOS 18 is supposed to be as "ambitious" and "compelling" as it is rumored to be, then it is likely in Apple's best interest to skip the March event this year and get their affairs in order. This seems like the "Apple" thing to do in my opinion.

Q1. It's a shame but I am not that bothered, I'm waiting for the foldable screen to finally arrive. No I am not interested in getting an Android anything. Q2. I'm not that bothered about the iPad updates as I don't use one. Q3. Se 4, disappointed they removed the finger print sensor. It's the only reason I bought the SE 2022. The old one should last a few more years, maybe they'll have a new finger print sensor by then.

To answer your questions: 1. No. They should've held an event, since if they are releasing new iPads, in which we got no new iPads last year, it should've gotten some light. 2. iPads are not for me. iOS is not for me. 60Hz is not for me. And some rumours suggest the regular iPad 11 will still get the old A14 chip, which is definitely a bummer. 3. The iPhone SE 4, if it comes with the A16 Bionic, will be awesome. More like the iPhone 15 Lite, I guess? But there are a few conditions. - Androids at this price are starting to bring optical zoom. - Androids at this price are starting to bring 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. - Some Androids are pushing crazy brightness (the OnePlus 12R, at $500, has 4,500 nits (!) of peak brightness). - The notch should go (the only other company I can think of to still have it is Honor). - The RAM should go up to a minimum of 6GB (Androids at this price are starting to push 16GB RAM). - We CANNOT have 64GB non-expandable storage (the $199 Poco M6 Pro 4G has base 256GB expandable storage). - I want them to bring MagSafe. - Bump the IP rating from IP67 to IP68. - If we don't get an ultrawide, I ain't buying it (no chance). Given all the rabbit holes Apple has backed itself into, like the sideloading thing, the Masimo blood oxygen sensor patent dispute, being fined $2B for not complying with the DMA (Spotify/Apple Music), being forced to reopen Epic Games' developer account by the DMA, and a few others I can't think of, I'm starting to lose trust in Apple. I think I'll stick to the Android/Windows side of the fence for the foreseeable future.
