Technically, the Hart is not the "Most Valuable Player in the league", it is " The most valuable player *to their team* ". It is an often overlooked, but very important criteria difference.... It is why they also have both the Rocket Richard, and Art Ross trophies as well for goals, and points, respectively.

For me, it's the player that is most valuable for their team, so I think Kucherov deserves this the most, Tampa would have 0 chance to make it to the playoffs without him, unlike Oilers or Avs.

Another reason why Nate Dogg should get the Hart this season, 34 games and counting point streak at home, 2nd all time NHL record behind Gretzky at 40, now owns the all time season points record in franchise history taking it to 122 so far, Nate is having a season like no other #GoAvsGo
