Suleiman loses Hatice after Hurrem. He gets devastated as Hatice dies in his arms. He loses hopes for finding Hurrem after Hatice. Suleiman loses his love within his sister. Mustafa loses his dreams of the throne but he builds hopes again thanks to soldier's loyalty. Mahidevran takes an action to kill Mehmet. Mihrimah corners Sultana Şah. Bali Bey chases up the clue he has found. Suleiman who is proud of Mehmet's success gets devastated with the bad news received from Manisa. Suleiman who is on the brink of the abyss revives miraculously.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Although there is no doubt that this new Hurrem actor is great and prominent in Turkey, the show lost its hype after Meryem left the show. They ended the character of the greatest villain and smartest of all sultanas- Sah Sultan in the dumbest way to show the transition of older Hurrem.

As always , you exaggerate. It was in plans to change her but later in the season and yeah sah is not the smartest sultana, that's hurrem sultan. As for the greatest, that was Ibrahim.

They should have paid Meryem better, she was the star of this show, even if their intended star was the Sultan. It would have never been this popular without her

@@draganagavric4944 she also stated in a few interviews that her pay and treatment on set was a big reason she had a mental breakdown in the first place, and the pregnancy only heightened her emotions and mental state

I think the big aging difference is meant to show the high amount of stress she must have been under being kidnapped and away from Suleiman and her children for so long. It can age your appearance quite a bit

I mean like the character is in her forties by season 4. Whereas she was a teen when the show started. Meryem playing a 17-39 year old is fine, but 40-54? I know they would have gave her makeup to age her up and the like but I mean you did say they aged her by like 20 years. Well more than 20 years passed by in the show. All of Sulieman's kids are grown by season 4.
@@rsync9490 obviously your time line is correct but I’d just like to point out that they didn’t really age up Mahidevran convincingly. They could’ve recast her too. Watching grown Mustafa call a woman who is likely the same age as him mother is weird

She's back, but I can't tell the same for her sanuty, brain and mercy for the other people around her, not even for her own children. Otherwise, she would never killed Ibrahim Pasha and now Prince Mehmed would be alive. She is responsible for Mehmed's death, not Mahidevran. As for this, that she is Valide Queen Sultana, she was Sultana, but she never became Valide Sultana, she never seen not a single one of her sons to ascend the throne, in order to be Valide Sultana to her son Selim II. Because Selim had taken the throne at 1566, after his father's death. However Hurrem died earlier than this moment, she died earlier than Syleiman, at 1558. So she wasn't Valide Sultana. She may was the favorite one, she was Haseki Sultana, but not Valide Sultana. What if she killed so many people? Once again, she wasn't at peace at all. Besides, she also lost her supporters, her children at first, then her supporters in general. She also made Cihangir die from sadness, after she got rid of Mustafa. She also lost people and this time Mahidevran had no relation with this. So now Hurrem you should beware of what you are doing. Because maybe you are fire, but you don't want to burn all around you along with yourself. I saw arrogance, but Hurrem, Rustem and Syleiman had endless of it. That's why they got deafened by it. These happen when arrogance and power exist. There is no Ibrahim or Mustafa or Mahidevran now to put the blame on, it's only you Hurrem and your beloved husband and son-in-law who faul.

She didn't even become Valide Sultan. She never saw her sons ascend the throne. However, she was only Haseki Sultan, empress consort of Sulëyman the first.
