Hi Kashyap, ChatGPT has two versions; GPT 3 and 4. Although 4 is a paid version, it provides more sophisticated prompts. With ChatGPT 3, you can however create your own prompts as well. There are many tutorials available online on how to create a chatgpt prompt.

Yes. When you download the extension, while setting up, choose GPT Model 4. However, GPT 4 is a paid version of ChatGPT.
@KewalKishan but how do you choose the GPT4 model? I looked at the Google sheet documentation and they say I only have DaVinci and gpt 3.5 text models to choose from and one last thing, do you know how I can access the gpt4 API? I mean when I go to my playground I can't choose gpt4, is there still a waiting list?
Why not just ChatGPT directly instead of going through this hassle? I'm missing something here. The way you're doing takes longer and is more work with having to copy paste the output into a Google Doc. Kind of a waste of time and energy. Don't see the benefit here.

Hi Jenevieve, We can use ChatGPT and this method may seem a bit lengthy but if you have lots of data and need automatic processing, then you cannot always go back-and-forth to ChatGPT and Google Sheets. Just like you use the normal formulas that automatically give results as new data is added, similarly you can use the SheetGPT to automatically generate results as new data keeps on adding.
Hi Charles, this is not for generating spam. Many business owners use external tools like Pabbly or Zapier to automate certain things when new data is added into Google Sheets. Suppose a new row of data is added, you wouldn't want to open spreadsheet and then manually execute ChatGPT command, save the result and then execute the Pabbly automation task? You would want the result automatically generated and sent to Pabbly, without any manual input. That's what this video is guiding towards. How you use this depends on your creativity. Many of our clients have been asking this and they have successfully implemented it.
