  • This may sound weird but I really love her hand gestures; they fit perfectly to every lyric she sings and brings out the emotions so well. Usually, singers doing hand gestures distracts me from the singing, but Adele's really brings the story to life. She's such a performer.

  • This is Adele ladies and gentlemen! There was never a singer like her, the voice, the personality, the presence, the aura, Adele is just so special. I have heard many voices in my life, but Adele is the only singer ever that made me cry with her songs. Every song she sings really moves me. I would die to hear Adele live in concert, she truly is a living legend!

    • I second your opinion. She's really special. There are only 2 singers whom I felt an inexplicable connection & were able to get right through my well guarded repository of emotions; Adelle & our local singer/actress here in my country named Sharon Cuneta. She may not b a belter (Adelle is) but u can also feel the emotions when she sings. Both of whom are great storytellers.

  • From the minute I heard this song I instantly fell in love with it. There's just something so magical about the whole composition of it... I even like it more when she sings it live, you can really hear the rawness and emotion that she carries in her voice. Can you believe she sold 3.3 million copies of "25" in the US this week? Well deserved, Adele. Please never stop making music because you're a rarity in today's music industry. Anyway, I did a cover of this song over on my channel, I accompanied myself on the piano as well. I'll obviously never be able to sing it as well as Adele but it would mean a lot if you checked it out and let me know how I did! :)

  • I couldn't listen to Adele for so long despite absolutely loving her music because I remember listening to her album Adele 21 while going through a major breakup and listening to her music brought me back to that extremely difficult time in an instant. It was as if I had a teleportation device. Her music, emotion, words are just so incredibly relatable that it goes to the core of what it means to be human and experience love and loss and sadness and longing. Gah, she's so good.

  • Adele's current music seems more melancholic and almost funereal. This song is so poignant, makes you think about old friends, old flames and old memories you wish you could bring back. 19 and 21 were more exuberant but this song hints to a bittersweet time. Love her vocals.

  • She put so much passion into this performance and this song, and at 1:42 it even looks like she's about to cry, she has such an amazing voice and it saddens me to think about how artists like her with such powerful voices and beautiful songs don't become as popular as the more 'relevant' famous pop singers. To me, Adele has the most beautiful voice out of every other famous singer out there, here's hoping for 2016 to be the year of Adele! (sorry for the long post)

    • +McMac Actually she didn't break the record. She essentially created a new one. Based on the fact that the Oasis record was 696,000 in three days (Back then new releases were counted regardless of which day they were released). Be here now was released on the Thursday and was charted on the Sunday, so they only took three days worth of sales into account. Over seven day period Be here now sold 813,000 copies while 25 sold 800,307. So Oasis still hold the record in reality. I'm a fan of both acts however, so you could call the Oasis record the "Record for the old chart format" and Adeles record would be for the new format.

    • Not everyone knows how to appreciate a gem and that's what makes gems so special ;). Adele is a gem ❤️. Although I will say she's pretty popular but hasn't conformed to anyone else's style. She's herself and that's why people relate to her so much.
