You idiots always say not to spin the crank with only 1 bearing b/c its not round, while you just sit there and spin it like nothings wrong? almost ever engine build you guys say not to do it, and you're doing it! DAMMIT CORONA VIRUS IS EATING YOUR BRAIN!!!!!
I'm going to find whoever edited in those quick zooms on the rocker arms and slam his head into this engine block repeatedly

old there on season 17 this is 12
Good stuff!
In 2022, though a good show, it was sad to see Jessie Combs and realize she is no longer with us. Rest In Peace Jessie.
Forced induction is the replacement
yes, if you like a lot of heat soak, then sure, it is..
@@walkerforsyth6221 Most of those blocks are custom. No heat soak
@@haydona1845 that doesn't make any sense, that almost entirely has nothing to do with heat soak, and what does "custom" mean anyways? Stickers and glitter? It's completely dependent on design and engineering, sure, thicker castings and bigger cooling jackets could help but, that doesn't mitigate the fact that compressing air always greatly increase intake charge temp and component temp.

@@walkerforsyth6221 I assumed you were talking from a block standpoint. Like taking a 500 block and boring it to a 588 which cause a lot of heat soak between cylinders. The merlin block they is just a bigger block in general so the areas between the cylinders are bigger

I've watched and enjoyed every show. My question is this, have you guys ever blown up an engine during dyno testing?
James Verkaik Yes but they want show it.
My buddy blow up his dart block that people claim to be "indestructible" on the dyno, so I'm 100% they have on more than 1 occasion.

Yes I just said mopar bc mopar is who the hemi belongs too. but yes where are the hemi heads at.
RIP Jessie.
cool
Long time ago when fuel injection was getting into the consumer market (yup, that old) I kinds didn't like it. Now, I do like it. Better fuel control and less susceptible to getting bounced around or off angle like a rock crawler gets often. The other reason is all on me. Me and carbs have never really got along.
Great Job Bro : Power Nation*🌠 - Powering A GMC Racer With 588 Big Block Horse Power'' S.12 E, 2'' MV : Bigolive Show By - Power Nation*🌠 ...... Cheerio.🌠☁🚗☁🌠👍👍👍🌠🌟🌠.
First view from the Bahamas 🌴🥥✌️
What about the extra head bolts?
Why wouldn't you fuel inject it?? I'm a carb guy but not when it comes to offroad bouncing. Should have at least installed a float bowl breather crossover tube on the carb. Dry sump oiling wouldn't be a bad idea either
is buddy nervous? or does he always miss the mic. More Jessie episodes
I wanted to see that big boy on the Dyno.....
R.I.P Jesse you or missed
..that is after applying oil to the rings, piston skirts, rod bearings and cylinders, our hands and a 20 foot perimeter around the engine block in a slick that put Exxon Valdez to shame...
13.0:1 compression = MLS head gaskets in my opinion
The pay off for this truck was the worst.
This show is cony. He’s standing there cleaning wrenches that’s not even dirty.
No Trick Flow Hemi heads. That sucks.
Why’s it blue?
Dark heads for a dark black don't use anything from edlebach not even there intakes
Scott H Only trick flow or airflow research heads for me buddy
7:28 They are using oil to build an engine? There was a video where they claim oil was too thin to be used as Assembly lube.
Oil is OK on pistons and rings but I would definitely use assembly lube on the camshaft that’s critical
Lol it's funny how the people with the biggest shops and most expensive tools do some backyard budget techniques sometimes.
@@bigboreracing356 Look on youtube and you will see Mercedes and BMW using oil on rings during assembly. Powernation push assembly lube only when they are payed to do so. When I rebuilt my 96 Tahoe 5.7. I used cheap 20w50 oil doing the build. My engine ran fine.
@@blackericdenice Oil is fine. Streetracer has nonteal world experience...
@@elonmust7470 We have talked before on another video. I found out he's lying about building engines and racing. He is young and quick to name call when he losing a debate.
Why on earth would anyone change a 14 bolt out for a 9 inch. Especially for mud racing or mudding in general.
Bc 9 inch is king
Weight and the ability to quick change gears. A 14 bolt would drag too much mud and it's too heavy
Plus on this show they spent all the money
Rip Jessie.
💪❤️💯🏆👍
Lots of diversity at trick flow🤔
I just can't buy trickflow for my Chevy lol.
If you're gonna erase it you have to have at least 3 to 4 thousands on the mains it's better to have a little lower oil pressure and have plenty of oil than to have not enough clearance and too much oil in the Pan yeah you've got killer pressure but it can't get where it needs to go and survive that seems to be a new problem with the Dodge and Fort motors as their clearances are too tight for race motors
You could’ve built that 400 to have more than enough horsepower and done it cheaper but maybe you could use it later
:( Jessie.

You should have built a 598 ci bbc and have more power
Even better, put the 1005ci godfather motor in it lol. 2,150hp stock and 1500ft lbs of torque without forced induction.
Yes sir, If he had the money to put that motor in then that would be one bad mud truck lol.
That rat is supposed to be painted orange.
NO DISPLACEMENT FOR REPLACEMENT.
Aftermarket crank = one piece mod the rear main. Never again.. will i make that mistake
Jessie? She gone. How old is this show?
The GM 14bolt rear end is10times stronger than the Ford 9".
@@SDkillaa Obviously you have no experience with the GM 14bolt and it's stronger than a Dana 80.
Screw that, a 10,000$ Can get ruined so easy with mud racing. All it takes it hitting that mud pit too fast and the motor sucking in a gulp of water through the intake/carb.
How hard is it to route the intake into the cab? Not hard at all but hillbillies aren't known for being smart.
Ford 9 in't complete for $990
Well those rod bears wont make it long touching them with his bare fingers the dirt trapped in your skin and touching the bearings sad sad
Why would they care? They didn't work for $20/hr to afford these items lol.
@Leon Dupe Right. At least show us hard working non-sponsored people how to do it right.
they made 821hp 702torqx on 110oct fuel 32 degrees timing
Not nearly enough.
25$ my ass. Lets see a receipt
There's NOTHING Chevy about that motor. Typical high horsepower "Chevy" build. First step , throw everything Chevy in the dumpster & buy all aftermarket. They even used a shaft style rocker , like the mopars have for years. I'll stick with a gen 2 hemi. You can make ALOT more power & not have to buy all aftermarket.
I'll stick with Ford big blocks, 460's can make insane torque without a ton of mods
95% of mud trucks are severely underpowered. This thing should have a turbo on it....
