It would have been better had Benny Hill written it. More girls for a start and better music. Then the audience would see for what it is ie just silly. Instead we're thinking, is it a joke Nazi basher or are we expected to take it seriously?

@@foreverblueclassics Love the graceful spins of the boys in their boots at 6:00. Sometimes a small gun gets off a round before a big one. The men at 6:12 just can't get that big one turned around in time and the man at 6:22 ends up doing a back arch that would look good in an olympic dive as he desparately tries to remain standing but of course fails. The three at 6:28 show superb military discipline responding on command to stand at attention to take the lead that will send them off to hell. Brief glimpse at 6:47 of 4 simulataneous back arches on the stairs as the shock wave hits those uniformed men without mercy. The man at 7:05 gets dressed up for his final exit and gives us a long roll-over that convinces me that three bullets in the gut really do hurt. At 7:26 the nazi-killer gets a taste of his own and gets plugged deep with lead but not before he's mown the lawn of green uniformed germans. 7:51 and 8:03 show us the dangers of playing catch with grenades and an opponent who's a pro baseball player. At 8:29 we can see the intensity of the gaze of the attacker as he fires round after round into the guts of footsoldiers trying to cross the bridge. At 8:51 two brave (or desparate) leaders spin to their left and give up their dreams. They add to the already five uniformed corpses already littering the floor. The one in the center then does an inward half twist as he adds his own to the body count. At 8:36 the carnage continues and there are now more bodies on the bridge than soldiers standing. The Nazis are completely exposed and the last wave has to jump over the corpses of their fallen commrades as they rush blindly to meet their own ignoble end. The sound track of the gunfire probably masks a cacophony of OOOfs, AUGGG!, Ugh!, Nooooo! and other surprised cries grunted out of Nazi thoats as nerves connect with their soon to be extinguished brains. We get more death-dances from 8:47 to 8:51 proving once again that human flesh is no armour for automatic bullets - no matter how tight the uniform. Definitely haarrd to watch.

@@Liv4AxnFilms Yes, that was quite a takedown by the dame but the one on the left kind of forgets his role as he goes down, placing his right hand on the floor to break his fall then takes a quick glance at his nemesis before realising he's still on camera and then he quickly recovers the scene. Bravo! 6:12/6:22 is an excellent hat-trick by the woman (Olympic class arching as you say!) and I love the trio taking their load at 6:28, with the facial expression on the soldier on the left to die for (in his case literally 😁). It's almost balletic at 6:47 and 7:05 is a classic. Great arching and fabulous grimacing as that fucker finally gets his comeuppance (he's been sending his own men to oblivion without mercy, including gunning a good few of them down himself!) and yes, that has gotta hurt! 7:26 at least took a few to hell with him and 7:51 and 8:03 are each a classic of their own sort! Sign 'em up for the Yankees! 8:29 is getting off big time as he mows down his grey-clad prey like fish in a barrel and boy, do they die superbly or what?!!!!! That is an anti-aircraft weapon dealing out death at 8:51 and you have to wonder at the damage that will do to those soldiers taking the impacts - messy in more ways than one 😈! I love the soldier taking a chestful at 8:36 (more classic arching!). Yes, you just know these men are suffering with their arrrrgghhsss, ugggghhhssss and aieeeeeeessss as bullets slam into chests, mince up bellies and hole backs as they spin and buckle to the deck a bloody bullet riddled mess. That AA gun does more serious damage for sure at 8:47-8:51 and for them the war is over. Brilliant stuff as ever mate, and reading your review is as hard an experience as viewing it too lol! Love it!!!!!!!

An 80s war movie called bridge to hell stole scenes from this movie and put it in there own
'Kommando Scwharzer Panther'/'Wartime' did it too, and several others.

@@foreverblueclassics Love the graceful spins of the boys in their boots at 6:00. Sometimes a small gun gets off a round before a big one. The men at 6:12 just can't get that big one turned around in time and the man at 6:22 ends up doing a back arch that would look good in an olympic dive as he desparately tries to remain standing but of course fails. The three at 6:28 show superb military discipline responding on command to stand at attention to take the lead that will send them off to hell. Brief glimpse at 6:47 of 4 simulataneous back arches on the stairs as the shock wave hits those uniformed men without mercy. The man at 7:05 gets dressed up for his final exit and gives us a long roll-over that convinces me that three bullets in the gut really do hurt. At 7:26 the nazi-killer gets a taste of his own and gets plugged deep with lead but not before he's mown the lawn of green uniformed germans. 7:51 and 8:03 show us the dangers of playing catch with grenades and an opponent who's a pro baseball player. At 8:29 we can see the intensity of the gaze of the attacker as he fires round after round into the guts of footsoldiers trying to cross the bridge. At 8:51 two brave (or desparate) leaders spin to their left and give up their dreams. They add to the already five uniformed corpses already littering the floor. The one in the center then does an inward half twist as he adds his own to the body count. At 8:36 the carnage continues and there are now more bodies on the bridge than soldiers standing. The Nazis are completely exposed and the last wave has to jump over the corpses of their fallen commrades as they rush blindly to meet their own ignoble end. The sound track of the gunfire probably masks a cacophony of OOOfs, AUGGG!, Ugh!, Nooooo! and other surprised cries grunted out of Nazi thoats as nerves connect with their soon to be extinguished brains. We get more death-dances from 8:47 to 8:51 proving once again that human flesh is no armour for automatic bullets - no matter how tight the uniform. Definitely haarrd to watch.
@@Liv4AxnFilms Yes, that was quite a takedown by the dame but the one on the left kind of forgets his role as he goes down, placing his right hand on the floor to break his fall then takes a quick glance at his nemesis before realising he's still on camera and then he quickly recovers the scene. Bravo! 6:12/6:22 is an excellent hat-trick by the woman (Olympic class arching as you say!) and I love the trio taking their load at 6:28, with the facial expression on the soldier on the left to die for (in his case literally 😁). It's almost balletic at 6:47 and 7:05 is a classic. Great arching and fabulous grimacing as that fucker finally gets his comeuppance (he's been sending his own men to oblivion without mercy, including gunning a good few of them down himself!) and yes, that has gotta hurt! 7:26 at least took a few to hell with him and 7:51 and 8:03 are each a classic of their own sort! Sign 'em up for the Yankees! 8:29 is getting off big time as he mows down his grey-clad prey like fish in a barrel and boy, do they die superbly or what?!!!!! That is an anti-aircraft weapon dealing out death at 8:51 and you have to wonder at the damage that will do to those soldiers taking the impacts - messy in more ways than one 😈! I love the soldier taking a chestful at 8:36 (more classic arching!). Yes, you just know these men are suffering with their arrrrgghhsss, ugggghhhssss and aieeeeeeessss as bullets slam into chests, mince up bellies and hole backs as they spin and buckle to the deck a bloody bullet riddled mess. That AA gun does more serious damage for sure at 8:47-8:51 and for them the war is over. Brilliant stuff as ever mate, and reading your review is as hard an experience as viewing it too lol! Love it!!!!!!!
