Yup, the host of this video doesn't seem to realize that the iPhone is making her skin look more tan than it really is. It's February, and cold... I doubt she spent enough time at the beach to look as yellow as all those iPhone photos made her. Pleasing doesn't always mean accurate.
Was about to comment that. In the studio we can see that she has pale skin, and that is what was captured in the Samsung and the Pixel. The Iphone is not giving her natural color, for these comparisons I think it is better for her to shoot someone else for it to be a proper comparison. Just because she likes seeing herself tanned doesn't indicate that the camera did a better job.

I think the comparison might be biased. 3:07 Pixel is for sure more natural. iPhone produced this greenish tint here.

No it’s not the surrounding is greenish and iPhone gives little bit of warmer colour btw s24 ultra degraded its camera quality by its latest update. I’m not sure I’m true but my friend have s24 ultra and he gives me his opinion.

Bruh look at the surroundings. There was a greenish tint irl, the iPhone’s keeping it real. If you want the least realistic photos but the ones that are the most beautified, maybe go with Pixel- it has even more AI photo editing features than the Samsung!

I have all 3 of these phones, I'm not getting this red tint and exposure image on mine. Weird This is the first year the Ultra photos look very "pixel like" to me. Normally I will always carry my pixel for the camera, but don't feel the need this year...thus far
I appreciate the video, but I can't understand in the first category all the Samsung photos were bad, something must be wrong with the galaxy you were using, because I don't have that issue with mine, it takes regular photos much better than that in any lighting situation.

I’m giving this video a like because it clear you didn’t pick and choose the Samsung’s best shots every time on purpose to make it seem like the best. Overall, as a hobbyist photographer, I walk away from this video thrilled with my iPhone 15 Pro Max as I consider it the best camera overall by quite a bit. However, if you value a ton of features and versatility even if they’re not well-rounded, the Galaxy is great. But honestly, the Pixel might be a better choice, because it can do these things but with more consistent overall camera quality. Of course it takes the win if all you care about is AI photo editing, but I use Lightroom on my Mac, which wipes the floor with any phone built-in editor. Now, one more thing: as someone who has all three phones, if you’re not a White person, and particularly if you’re a Black person who wants to represent your skin color accurately, you’ll want to avoid the Galaxy. Samsung, a Korean company, unfortunately values lighter skin tones and tried to brighten everyone up. The Pixel’s real tone can be a bit hit or miss, but when it hits it hits hard and I like it. Overall I’d still prefer the iPhone because Smart HDR 5 does a consistently excellent job with skin tones.

I have the s24 ultra and let me tell you this. The pictures are just not that great in my eyes. I had the pixel 7 pro before. Pixel just makes better pictures.
Three great devices for sure. I just want to say that I am beginning to warm to the Pixel's video capabilities. If Google could only work harder on it's low light video noise control, and allow it's newest devices to alter exposure via a simple on screen sliding bar or whatever, then I would be considering buying one in the near future. I am a lifelong Samsung flagship buyer may I just add.
Samsung really has great hardware for the camera. The image and video processing should be much better for that pricepoint.

Yes, this is VERY important. Especially when it comes to smartphones, one can make a good camera look bad. Not to mention that smartphones these days highly depend on image processing via software, so a camera might produce poor photos due to a lack of updated software, then receive an update after the video is already published. I'm not saying Versus is a misleading channel. My point is viewers should have their critical mind turned on especially if they are researching on which phone to spend their money on.

Cobsidering most people will be taking shots with main cam, S24 is sadly just not great..
Most people nowadays prefers to take human photos and portraits in 3x mode. 1x is only used for scenary(no one gonna feel any difference unless they compare)or some document scanning(I do scan with UW tbh).
Just wait till the s24 ultra getd the big update. Even without the update it competed with any phone out there but after the update it is going to be even better

Literally the only ones the Samsung does good in are the ones where reviewers got early access and were ecstatic about that fact. But the iPhone’s photos are generally objectively better in each category.

I've watched only 3:18 minutes and I am quite certain either the lightening condition of where the Samsung captures from is poor or the phone itself had some issues. Perhaps a dusty camera lens. Because it's hard to convince me that the s24ultra took those poor quality photos consistently- let's even leave aside the comparison for now.- I've watched this same comparison on other channels and it's not this same poor quality. Even my s10+ shoots better than this.
