All the mythical pets were majestic! I'm so glad that you actually went out of your way and tamed them all. The rest of the players just have dragons, which is nice, but some variation was much needed. Thank you! Definitely would like to watch 200 days of this series if it's possible
You have NO idea how nice it is to hear someone else saying the correct names for the creatures. I thought I was just weird knowing the names of all them. So, THANK YOU tootsie, for knowing your creatures. :)

Hey! You can actually “tame” the ants (Myrmex) here’s how: Reputation is arguably very important when dealing with Myrmex. Since Myrmex are hostile at first, the only action a player can take to raise their reputation within a Myrmex hive is to throw resin chunks (corresponding to the Myrmex type) near a Worker; if the Worker does not already have an item in her mandibles, she will collect the resin and bring it back to the hive, raising the player's reputation by 5. The minimum reputation one can have is always 0, and the maximum reputation one can get themselves to is 100. A good strategy to raise one's reputation within a hive is to throw resin all around the entrance of the hive. If there are many Workers present, they will rush to and fro, collecting the resin and bringing it back to the hive; this will quickly raise the player's reputation. Contrary to moral logic, stealing from Myrmex Cocoons does not affect your reputation. With patience, this means the player can reuse 5 pieces of resin to raise their reputation to 100 at minimal cost. However, one should exercise caution when trying to raise their reputation within a Myrmex hive, as attacking and/or killing Myrmex will damage your reputation with the hive; attacking certain castes will damage one's reputation more than others. An important thing to note about reputation is that it is not shared by all players in a server; throwing resin will only change the reputation of the player that threw it. Myrmex Reputation Action Reputation Change Dropping matching resin and letting workers pick it up +5 Completing a Trade +2 Unlocking a new Trade +1 Attacking a Myrmex Soldier -5 Attacking a Myrmex Royal -10 Attacking a Myrmex Queen -15 Killing any Myrmex -15 Neutrality If a player manages to reach a reputation of 25, all Myrmex castes in the hive will turn neutral towards them. Should the player go below a reputation of 25, all Myrmex castes will turn hostile towards them again. (Btw you can gain resin by killing ants or stealing it)
I use a similar modpack (ice and fire, wyrmroost, alex' mobs, all that jazz) and I am just so happy to hear someone share the pain of taming a first amphithere. the wasting of resources, running around endlessly, just staring at them doing their circles as they dodge every projectile perfectly. video itself was very chill but still entertaining, I think thats a nice approach of the 100-day stuff 👍

Yeah, I get you, I hate it when creatures or even my own brothers kill my animals, I always used to cry and their answer would be "it's just a pixel", they still make fun of me with that, and it doesn't matter if it's just a pixel, because I made great memories with them. Rip Gandalf, we will miss that little creature

This was amazing! You put so much time into each moment of the video and I can appreciate that. The ice and fire mod is definitely a favorite of mine as well! I’ve been working on coding my own fantasy creature mod as well and it’s been really fun! One day I hope to bring it into a series sort of like this one. I agree with the roost stalker thing! I used to call them in my videos, baguettes! Because they looked like long six legged bread 😂 good times. Also tamed a ton of them haha! You’re right on with liking them. Hope to see more content! What I did to prevent dragons from destroying amazing builds, was I made a small tower and hollowed out the inside of a mountain and deep underground. Hollowing out big tall rooms that were decorated and untouchable from the outside dragons. I just couldn’t enjoy the exterior decor of a house. 😃
Another fact: Like Rhinoceros, Narwhal horn were used to sell too because it also looks like an unicorn horn

MY favourite mythical creature is the dragon
It makes me kind of sad people overlook the Myrmex (those large ‘ants’) in Ice and Fire, They have a really neat reputation and trading system! But most everyone I’ve seen play with the mod just end up killing them
I have fun with them I like making my own hive at my base and then having them defend it for me since death worms suck
@@CreepyKiller0202 I always used the death worms as defense but yeah they tend to get stuck at some spot and just chill there for the rest of their lives which sucked

This world is literally my dream. Loads of mythical creatures! When I heard that you named your Cockatrice Bilbo, my heart broke because I had a cat called Bilbo who I got when I was 7 and was obsessed with the Hobbit. I'm 16 now and He died last year 2 days before my birthday. Everytime I hear the name Bilbo now, all i can do is smile and remember the great memories i had with this cat.
This turned out to be a long comment lol. My favorite mythical beings are my country's versions of dragons/dragonborns and fairies Dragons are born when a male catfish gets I think 15 years old (not sure on this one) and he's either neutral or good. The dragon's real form looks neither like the western huge winged lizard nor like an Asian dragon, this one looks scarier IMO, but he also has the human form of a very attractive man. He can also have a kid with a woman and his kid is called a dragonborn (the literal translation would be dragon-ish but dragonborn sounds way better) and the dragonborn is sometimes destined to do great things but is always capable of completing superhuman tasks, some of our greatest and most famous people in epic poems were believed to have been dragonborns (not by historians of course, by the people of the time). They have superhuman strength and wits and have the "Wolf's whip" on their body, which is a mole or tiny birthmark from which a few hairs grow from follicles that are so close together they appear to be the same follicle. The "Wolf's whip" is fairly common so I don't know why they chose that marking but whatever, the myth is at least over a millennium old Now for fairies, they aren't tiny beautiful creatures that help everybody. They're about the size of an average adult girl and from the front they appear beautiful but when they turn their back to you they tend to have horrifying scars and you know you're done for. They're almost never good, usually being straight up bad or sometimes neutral, very rarely good. In our legends we only have a handful heroes who have been in good relations with certain fairies, many of them being dragonborns (what a shocker). There are multiple tales of how fairies come to be, one saying when a girl is killed in a forest she turns into a fairy, they form a group and are vengeful towards pretty much any guy that gets close to them. Now that I think of it, I'd class them as wraiths instead of fairies but the literal translation of their name would be fairy, even tho the creatures were wraiths 100%. Another wraith was a noonwraith (Witcher 3 lol) which was a wraith that killed people working the fields around the noon on particularly hot summer days. Basically most wraiths were tales intended to scare kids from dangers like getting lost in forests and heatstrokes On another note, I love the Overworld Drake meme

The dragons without front legs are actualy called wyverns, for true dragons they have 4 legs while wyverns have just 2 King ghidorah is one of the examples

Honestly... mine would be the dragons .. while most may look dangerous and sometimes attack unprovoked there are some who wouldn't attack unless they are provoke heck some are neutral and are wise beyond the years and are willing to chat ... also taming them is well .. not easy it about earning their trust and how they use different elements to their own power
Fun fact: That “ice” dragon that destroyed your base was actually a lightning dragon! They can be blue, purple, bronze, or black! They spit lighting (obviously) and are a newer edition to the Ice and Fire mod!

I'm in love with the ice and fire dragons (lightning) but I love the bee eating feather dragons which are alpine dragons because of the wings, feathers, how you tame them, and the animations they have. Also, they remind me of birds too~ Anyway, I loved the video, and the replay button looks really nice~...(watches it like 16 times-)

question! the Ice and Fire mod has a feature where the modded mobs aren't supposed to spawn within 1000 blocks of spawn to prevent spawn killing & to make it so you can progress far enough to deal with the harder mobs. How come for you they seem to be spawning really close?
it's a glitch, it happened to me in my hardcore world where a dragon spawned right next to me as soon as I generated spawn chunks.
she clearly spawned in the two ice dragons. they arnt even in a cold biome.
