  • This is peripheral for people who make money using it. You don't need a $500 Toaster Oven unless you're in the business of making toast for people who pay you. Star Citizen is an expensive hobby. While this looks great, I can't justify the expense.

    • It's very expensive, and I'm not gonna get one, but an elgato stream deck XL or studio run around £200. Given this has significantly more inputs than a SD studio I think it's pretty in line price wise with comparable products on the market. It's still not cheap but I think it's priced fair enough for what it is. Get the bag boredgamer

  • I still haven't figured out what the best controls for SC will be. HOSAS for flying, keyboard/mouse for FPS, gamepad for driving ground vehicles. And that probably doesn't even scratch all the keybinds the game has available.

  • Thrust master MFD's are £90 and you get two of them - there's 26 buttons on each and they are more inline with a cockpit aesthetic, plus you can use fix them to your hotas joystick desk mounts to make them in range of your fingers

    • Nah, it was too stupid to show. 😅 At least from a HOSAS user's point of view having commands on that thing that you would want to access easily and quickly without taking your fingers off of your main inputs is a no-go. I would absolutely use it for stuff like requesting landing, operating doors and other secondary systems etc... but for that price and with the extra CPU drain and bloatware? No thanks...

  • I just use T16000m HOSAS and Buzzkillers keybind profiles. Everything else i bind to my keyboard. Literally no need for one of these im afraid. I tried Gameglass once but was too delayed, so just binded stuff to keyboard that is not on the sticks :) Get used to knowing what key is what after a while, apart from 3.23 as they added a whole load of mostly usless binds haha I'd have no other use for a Loupedeck

    @Spidder81@Spidder8116 күн бұрын
  • These are neat but they'll have to be cheap, it's really for tier 3 controls after setting the most important functions to your mouse, stick, and or left side of your keyboard.

  • I got a Corsair Nexus for that. Nice idea on paper but these display consoles cost CPU resources. Yes it's not much but it adds up, especially since you have to keep the driver bloatware running too, and in SC you will want as little extra drain on your CPU as possible. Also the value proposition just isn't there IMO.
