2MD: VR Football Unleashed Challengers Edition received another HUGE update today, and it somehow manages to make the game even better.
Version 1.4 dropped last November, and it added an exhibition mode to the game, allowing you to play full games of football in VR, and it was exactly I wanted!
I honestly didn't know how they could improve the game from there, then version 1.5 comes around and allows you to play AS THE RECEIVER and manually catch the ball.
But that's not all, just about every aspect of the core 2MD gameplay has been revamped and is now better than ever. So if you haven't bought the game yet, what the hell are you waiting for?!

i think they should add a franchise mode where your the coach and can make trades and simulate the game or watch the offense and call plays from the sideline in quick 7 minute games and you do all this on like a computer or something

Everyone asks this but the devs are going to neglect doing it. Always talk about how their team is small and the game isn't intended for franchise mode simulation. They just need to say if they want to do it or not lmao.

I think they should add a mode where you can be the wr and like have a career like face of the franchise in madden
they should add a full receiver mode. no passing, just running routes and catching
This really looks the the VR version of Retro Bowl without the strip and fumble mechanics
I actually would love if they made the receiver go forward as if they where running towards the ball. But I have gotten the hang of it and find myself making some sweet bread basket catches on verts, and corner routes! This is my favorite game on vr! They developers are really listening to its fan base! Give us what we want! Can't wait for the next update!
I've been playing this game since having it way back on the PSVR, then the Quest and now the Quest 2. The devs need serious props for the continued updates 👏. Hey great review Btw 😎👍

playable line backers and or safeties would be dope, use the same movement system of the manual receiver mode for when the ball is behind the LOS… and use the normal receiver movement once the ball has crossed the LOS. Have defense playbooks like normal offense ones… and for tackling you have to wrap around the ball carrier and press both triggers

There is playable defense with playable linebackers and safeties on psvr version. If you do 2 player mode, however it’s not in be. One player has the vr and the other looks at the screen and then switch.
multiplayer for this would be absolutely incredible to see added
On PSVR 2MD Head to Head addition has a two player mode with a playable defense, but it’s not in vr

I would really want a multi-player mode Atleast make it to where one is playing offense while the other has to watch from the sideline Once they are able to make it to where you can play defense then there should be an option to play defense or watch from the sideline But multiplayer is definitely possible I also like that 2 point conversion idea and the overtime
i think they shoulde make it so one player is the qb and the other player is the wide reciever, since they already coded all that.
for defense tackling will be 1 hand or 2 hand touch and you would choose what position you play on the board to switching the play mode to defense and for db you just catch like you would as wr or swat it

for me i feel like defense could go two ways, one way could be you only play saftey and tackling would be a stiff arm and interceptions would be the same at catching it, but i also think you could be saftey but when the qb passes it you would turn into the closest db

I think you should have the option on defense to either play as a DL and it add different vibrations and combos for trying to get past OL and also like swim moves where you can move your arms in an actual swim motion and maybe a safety option where you can

i think for defense they should have you either play as a MLB or safety, or have you able to switch between the two. there would be no defensive playcalling, the offense would just pick random routes to run and the defensive ai would play as normal. as the player, though, you can choose wherever you want to go. i also think tackling should just be pushing someone by their shoulders, as actual tackling or wrapping your arms around someone would be really hard to code and perform.
One issue I've noticed is that if you score with zero seconds left the ai will somehow still score. I've never lost because of it before but I'd imagine it would be slightly annoying for that to happen

Isn't it? If you play the game through oculus link, all you do is press A in game and it switches. It doesn't work in the exhibition games unfortunately, at least not to my knowledge, but it definitely makes for some sweet footage.

Yeah, just go to the practice field and there's a slider where you can adjust difficulty and round length :)

You just hold the button when you snap it, don’t press it then let go and try to catch the snap. Hope this helps!

That’s a setting you change now, when you press a it switches which way you face and which way the stick moves you. Hope this helps!

I feel like you can play defense just either Safety or CB, playing coverage, tackling you just push the CPU over after they have made the catch. May not work like that but that’s just my thoughts
