Video contrast is bit darker, not able to see clear textures of the cases, dark seems darker.
I always buy Spigen cases because they have protected each and every phone that I have owned in the last few years. For the S23 Ultra I have gotten the Spigen Optik Armor and the moveable shutter is great for protecting all the cameras, especially in the case of a fall.
I went for the dbrand GRIP case, and I am loving it so much - it feels amazing
Do you think the UAG with the fabric back would be more friction with fabric? I have a problem with my phone sliding out of my pocket.
The UAG case is the best in my opinion, and the random high groove on the side has been put there for holding the phone sideways. Your thumb will rest in here lovely when watching film, I am definitely buying one
Thank you for the video, where do you get your wallpapers?
Thanks! I'm looking for a case like the first one because I like enjoying the 3d edge of s23 ultra
I like the urban armor cover, but what car stand on the grid would you recommend for it to hold it very well? :-/
That verse of the day widget looked cool honestly, how is the speck as far as protection? I already have a pitaka case that I’m gonna use when I’m off but I need something while I’m working just in case I drop my phone I mean nothing crazy. I always use UAG but this year they introduced a MagSafe case and I bought it but I have crack my screen like 3 times already just from dropping my phone waist high and usually they make awesome cases , I also have the Kevlar from UAG that one is good tho except the Kevlar starts to come up
Which magsafe charger do you recommend for the s23 ultra?
Bought the speck and thinking about the uag Pathfinder the speck is minimal but gets the buttons right, rounds off the device for perfect in hand feel. Only thing wrong with it is it does not have MAGSAFE
Thanks for this video. I really enjoy your take on things. Also, great wallpaper. :}
I never get any other cases than Pitaka since S9. I cannot remember how many times I have dropped my phones without getting any screen cracks. I don't know how but they protect phones really well.
hello, which case has the best edge protection where the case goes the highest out of the screen ?
What's yours launcher setup and icon pack on this video?
I got myself the caudabe sheath for the s23 ultra, and its the best case for me! Fits all around, beautiful cutouts at the camera and fits camera protectors, and microfibre lining on the inside! So good i got it in both amethyst (purple) and black 😊
I love the Caudabe Sheath also! I switch it up with the Sheath for my minimal, the UAG Monarch kevlar and Spigen rugged armor. 😎
What's the font you use in your phone?
You're not getting protection from Pitaka or definitely not the Latercase. I screwed up & bought both & immediately put them back in the box. I have 1 case & it's the $50 Carbon Fiber/ Red Trim CaseBorne ArmadilloTek. It doesn't scratch your sides like others do & provides great protection & feel. Works with all wireless chargers that I've used & goes into pocket easy. I do like some shown. 🤟
I have a speck case recently bought it couple days ago. It's clear with glitter specks on it, let me tell you i love it but damn it's hard to remove from the phone. Geesh like why
Why wasn't the Otterbox Defender Pro case included in this "Premium" case review? At $65 per case and maximum protection, I feel that should have been 1 of these cases that were reviewed. Just my 2 cents.
Wao all looks so tough, powerful protection (except the first one), and also premium! Meanwhile I'm using a clear case that worth only 11MYR from Lazada, it does ok too :D
For me, the cases that are in my rotation for my S23 Ultra and 14 Pro; D-Brand, Spigen Rugged Armor, Mous, Parallax and the ESR camera kickstand version.
Nice!
@@jeradhilltechI don't like those thin cases those are for queer boys I'm not queer I want the most durable case for this device I don't care the way it looks I'm not trying to impress anybody
God Bless you, Jerad.
Do you have a link to that sweater ?
I got it from my local REI a few years ago. Just a basic REI hoodie.
I think a lot of people who buy these large high end phones, do so to watch media on them. For that reason a kickstand is almost mandatory. After I tried a case with one, I'll never be without it.
Any recommendations for ones with kickstands?
I never det black phones or cases because if you sit the phone down it can get lost in the background. Both phones that I have lost got found because the color stood out and someone noticed it on the ground and on the shelf for the second phone. The phones I lost were all black phone.
Encased with the belt clip. Done.
Magsafe cases will mess with the s pen screenwriting. Anything magnetic keeps the pen from writing properly.
Which one of all you've tried has the best grip with hand and other surfaces? Maybe fully covered with silicon or like that. Is it Speck?
The Speck for sure. I almost always end up back with it.
@@jeradhilltech it's back is like silicon? also grippy? I mean not only sides but also back is not sliding on surfaces? Do the bezel around cameras is higher than the rest of the back surface of the case, so it won't lay leveled on the table?
@9Nickko It is not silicone, it's a rubberized finish on top of a plastic backing. It does lay flat on its back, no rocking whatsoever. So, yes, its back is completely flat, cameras lenses stay below the case.
I love my Otterbox ,its wireless compatible
Ive done just fine with 10-20$ cases off amazon. No broken glass ever.
Amazon have nice cases price reasonable
pitaka is perfection itself, I went to Note10+ with him
Love the look of the carbon ones but they look to thin to protect the phone if dropped 😥
I hate how hardly any of the main case companies are doing precise camera cutouts. Yes there is a lip, but what use is that when you drop the phone on a rock in that camera corner and it hits glass. My $7 Amazon case has precise cutouts.
The material is kevlar, says so on the packaging
Best case ever owned in all phones I had, Samsung official green leather for my current green 23 ulra, it kind feel skin as its a case. First time ever, it feels equally comparable to naked phone
You mentioned the price of the case. The price of the item give viewer a good insight. 🙂
Can someone tell me what the name of the theme is? Or icons? I really like the design to go with my new case
Nova launcher with standard icons.
I have the mous case and it is perfect!
Same, I have the speckled black and aramid fiber
Do you guys still use secreen protector? I have the mous too the carbon fiber one
@@dOwn_sHift_mike I use the screen film, not protector.
Do you use screen protector?i love the pitaka case but i think i need screen protector with it, the mous i think maybe u dont need screen protector
I just put a screen protector on because I like the Pitaka case and want some extra edge insurance.
Can you reccomend a good screen protector brand, please? My S23 Ultra will be FedExed today and I wannna hava that extra level of protection with the Pitaka case
@omaruriza505 i would recommend the Whitestone dome glass, its kinda pricey but its worth it, right now im not using a scren protector, coz my hands are always dry, fingerprint never work for me with a screen protector
The only case here I'd consider is the speck presidio. All the others look like a sure way to end up with a broken screen. I'll stick with my i-blason & poetic spartan cases because they really offer premium protection for around $25 each.
Mous case u will never have a broken phone lol
😊what icon pack is that? Looks nice
YOUR NAME?
u forgot ringke x fusion ,its grt case till now for style and safety
how you get square icons??
Nova launcher.
The "canvas" 6:38
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the s23 ultra. Original plan was to order it on launch, but the price was way higher than I expected (after the discounts blah blah blah). Now they offered a free watch 5 pro, around 200€ off and a free wireless charging pad. Total came to be 819€ for a red 256 gb model. The watch 5 pro made me do it cause I was thinking about getting one anyways so here we are waiting for the new beauty to arrive.
Nice. The deals get really good for those who wait a few months.
@@jeradhilltech This year yeah! Last year it was the opposite tho. I ordered the s22 ultra right away and the deals were unbelievable that time. It has never been so cheap ever since that. Now its time for my s22u to go and the s23u to replace it, heh.
That seems a great deal in europe. Can you please share with me where you got it? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger but the best deal I'm seeing is 1000€ just for the phone and charger. Thanks
@@pedromorais8709 Hey, it was straight from Samsung (The Finnish site). The deal ended about 12 hrs ago, but I've got to admit that I f'd up a bit. Even though the deal I got was really good, I could've gotten the 512gb model for the same price if I had used the extra "BUYNOW" coupon code, which I forgot to do :/ Anyways, as much as it hurts now, Im still going to be happy with the 256gb/8gb model cause thats more than I need
@@RealLagu Glad you got it :) I think you won't regret it. Only wish to snag such a deal myself. Thanks
Best case for s23 ultra is UAG monarch kevlar
I pre-ordered that Pitaka for my S23 Ultra and I absolutely love it. Hate the fingerprints but I just wash it soapy water and it looks like new, for a day...
Do you use screen protector with the pitaka case? I hate the feel with the screen protector with it when i use my pitaka case, especially on the sides, you feel the edge of the screen protector
@@dOwn_sHift_mike Ive never been the screen protector type. Never felt one that I liked.
@@Gary_HTX no scratches so far?
@@dOwn_sHift_mike Nothing so far, but I am mindful of not putting it screen down on things or making sure nothing else is in the pocket that i put it in. Ive also had my S20 Ultra from when they were announced and was rocking it no screen protector, and skin only. No scratches or chips on either to date.
@Gary Gerhardt wow, you ever had accidental drops on either of them?
What happens if the phone gets dropped in these cases?
You will feel sad and alone.
Surely having magnet on your phone is going to mess up the internal compass.
Doesn’t seem to cause issues on any of my devices.
@@jeradhilltechwhen I mention this on other KZhead videos no one answers. As I understood magnets can cause issues. For example a powerful magnet can wipe a hard drive on PC.
You have the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? If so how are you finding the phone. Love it hate it?
My favourite case is the Spigen tough armour. Anyway, great video
ouch the uag is like £80 (gulp)
Using Punkcase for the first time... so far so good
ICON PACK ??
I have the UAG Metropolis LT Pro and it's perfect!!!
does the magnetic ring affect the stylus pen?
Too much guycam footage, needs more case footage especially in varying lighting conditions.
Why you doesnt inlcude real Carbon Case, in Germany its 80-90€
I need a case that is dust proof, specifically for the charger port. But i hate otterbox cases
100% of the time my phone drops it is flat down on the screen.. like it's made to do that.
Composite cases are the only cases I buy. At least you get your money's worth. Dont care about magnetic charging. Terrible for the planet and speeds up degradation of your expensive to replace battery.
I believe it's the complete opposite. Magsafe ensures the perfect charging position every time meaning no wasted heat or energy. It's so easy just sticking it on the charger and not worrying about if it's in the right position or not
@Brashaad Taylor while magnetic charging is definitely more efficient than standard wireless charging it's still losing substantial efficiency (completely wasted electricity). That's staggering in aggregate when you sit down and calculate all of the people who are now only charging magnetically or wirelessly. Even a 10% loss of efficiency is bonkers in the mega tons of wasted coal used to run most American power plants. A And the bottom line is that wasted efficiency just means you're losing charging cycles over the course of expensive battery's life. I looked over a spreadsheet once from researcher who calculated that if you completely avoided wireless charging, only used rapid charging when you actually needed it as in rarely used, avoided draining your battery below 20% and avoided charging above 70% that you could keep a typical smartphone battery above 70% of its original capacity for over 10 years. And I don't doubt if as I more or less followed these rules on my previous phone and at the end of the 3 year contract with Verizon my battery capacity was still near 90%.
What do you mean by composite case?
@@JacobWhyDontYouPutOnALiLMakeup I guess for phone cases these are sold as Aramid or genuine carbon fiber (and not just carbon fiber looking). Samsung sell a pretty durable Aramid case. And off brand sellers online sell copies of that case at half the price. Best is to buy second hand and save the some waste.
Send this case back because don't charge with my apple magsafe. But is a fine case. Now i have de mous case, same problem don't charge with apple magsafe.
I think there are magsafe cases for the s23 ultra
@@corey7219 they mean that it wont charge with apple magsafe accessories i think
Which case? The Pitaka is Magsafe compatible.
@@jeradhilltech yes both.....they make contact, but not charging.
The best Amazon rating is 4.5. Are you kidding me, these cases suck and cost more. Why hasn’t anyone addressed the fact that most of these cases don’t even fit?
whack...none of these have built-in kickstands
That first case is an absolute joke. It's so minimal you might as well not even have a case it looks way too easy to break
All these cases suck
Pataka case scks!!! No protection at all check out those edges drop it on concrete and see what happens to your glass. LOL!!!! Joke of a case. UAG better choice I mean 1300.00 phone rather protect the investment
