  • I know everybody thinks The Dark Knight is the best out of the trilogy. But Rises has always been my favorite. It's much deeper

    • I love The Dark Knight but The Dark Knight Rises grows on me every time I watch it.

    • Rises is more emotional, climactic for me. It hits home more

    • @@coyote000 Ditto. Tom Hardy as Bane is underrated! He absolutely embodied that character. Every scene he is in gives me chills. And Bruce's redemption scene in the prison when he "Makes the climb" is inspiring. He didn't just make the physical jump, he also overcame his suicidal behavior and his will to live returned.

    • Anton Affleck it was always planned as a trilogy. Extending it would've spoiled the legacy

    • @@nikidon99 It was planned as a single entity, with merely the HOPE for a sequel. And Nolan refused to do a third movie, unless he found a strong enough storypotential and reason of existence for it. That's how we arrived here.

    • @@Angyali Nolan only wanted to do a third movie if there was a story that he found satisfying. He was originally hesitant.

    • @@h.b.smith_writer same with The Dark Knight. Wasn’t sure if he’d get to make a follow up, so he made Batman Begins the best film he could make, but have an ending that made you curious about the future of that story and did this to The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
