Something worth clarifying, the Scouts sold very strong when new and outsold the Bronco until Ford introduced the fullsize ones in 1978. They were more mainstream than people give them credit for.
Beautiful scout!
Right on, super cool, Jake!
Fiesta Island? sorry I missed this! Drove a '72 scout from 1989-1992 she was pretty beat up but It was a conversation starter :-)
omg blowing my mind that the IH logo is a guy on a tractor. i'm dead.
Hah! Fiesta Island! Recognized it instantly. I've tested my Scout's valve settings there a few times. It's only a 5-10 minute drive. Also Ridden around it 100s of times on my bike.
Where the mirrors go? haha looks so good. I just inherited a Scout II and doing this would be a dream.
I noticed it only has one wiper too lol
Back in 1976 we had a 76 Scout II I put wide tires and wheels on it and it was turn me loose at the beach oh then RUST sat in it rusted like no tomorrow so repaired it and painted it and we sold it.
Wallace4x4 scout parts are the best
ANYTHING LESS WOULD BE A CAR
i will tell you again its not a car its not a truck ITS A SCOUT IH
Modern suspension?
they were still a realistic price a year ago now they have been discovered and the prices have jumped
Sad... people are treating Scouts with disrespect. Changing them. It's the youth that were not alive during IH developments. Ignorance.
1 pretty momma ✌🏾
How much does a build like this cost? Not including the rig, just the work and parts and paint. Are we talking $30k? Or like $50k or more? Any info would help…thanks!!!
Easily 50K I have a 75 i've owned for 30 years and talked to a few resto-mod IH shops they want 20K just for the engine swap a A+ paint job 10K I mean you'll end up spending 60 K but heck a new ford F150 is 50k
Why only one wiper?
They should install the other wiper. Or it won't pass the safety inspection!
Hey, I know that guy!
I know him too. He is Mr Scout😂
Too much of an overview, not enough on the specific parts and improvements/restorations!😉
I know many new younger people have no idea of IH. My great grandfather and grandmother retired from IH. My great grandfather designed and fabricated many of IHs. It's sad of the ignorance of people that tell a story of Scouts that are too young to understand the true history, love and effort that went into an icon of a vehicle of a historic generation. This is not "the man" to go to. He was not even born yet. A pretentious fool trying to rip off an iconic vehicle for profit.
IT IS NOT A DAR ITS A SCOUT STOP SAYING CAR
