February 24 our country woke up to flying rockets and explosions! The governmental authorities of the Russian Federation started a full-scale war against our country...
So many families leave the country and their pets are just left behind on the streets
We don't leave the country, we continue to feed stray dogs and rescue as many animals as we can
Please pray for Ukraine, please pray for us and our Furry Friends to be safe

Germans are so loyal and protective to their people. The most loving dogs. You can tell he’s older and totally lost. I hope he’s safe now and with people who are good to him.
Heartbreaking to see this beautiful, sweet soul out there all alone. He's constantly looking for someone, as if expecting his person to come back for him. It's so sad. Thank you for giving him food and water and a little love. I wish you could've taken him with you to ensure that he is safe. I could never leave him there alone. God bless that precious boy, praying he finds a good, loving home to spend his older years in, never being hungry for food or love again. God bless all dogs. They're the best and deserve our best.

Thank you so much for feeding this lovely German Shepherd. Since there are so many people in various videos interested in adopting these dogs , could you not tie in with other European rescue organisations and get these poor souls to the border for them to be found homes outside the Ukraine?
She transported some to the border already. There are overcrowded shelters close to the border in Poland. If you want to adopt, contact human society international or Four paws! And please donate Olena, there are so many in the streets who need her help!! Winter is coming, and they want to build wooden houses, but wood is pretty expensive and rare now in Ukraine!

This dog had good owners, you can tell by how friendly it is. It's must have just been released when the owners were forced to flee. This breaks my heart to see such a beautiful dog on the streets.

I just can’t imagine how awful this situation is for everyone. I smiled and cried my way through videos of family reunions after cities being liberated in Ukraine. Bless you for helping these animals. I pray for your country and stand with Ukraine.

German shepherd owner here. I could tell something was up just by the way he watched your car and approached you. Looking at his gray jowls, he has been around and was probably somebody's dog once upon a time. That must seem like a long time ago for this guy. Thank you so much for helping this animal.

Truely heart warming what you all are doing. Being both a military vet and a pet owner, no matter the circumstances would I ever leave my fur babies behind. Even in a war zone we are having to flee, if my animals couldn't accompany me then we would seek other avenues of escape. People that leave their pets behind because they only consider them pets and not a true part of the family to be just as loved and cherished and cared for as any other member of the family should not be allowed to have them. Tho that is my humble opinion.

The only problem is...she cannot take a whole countries dogs, and cats "home". Olena is doing what she can with very limited "help". There were so many strays even before this atrocious war began.

could of been a homeless persons dog who passed away and let the dog lose so it could wander off when he knew he would pass away

Stunningly pretty dog. Old too, you can tell he was a pet for years, way to friendly for a wild dog. It's heartbreaking to know he's given years and years of loving companionship, just to end up abandoned when he's older.
