any tips to start youtube as an artist
This is a good video topic :) Also, I guess I do have a few. The current KZhead algorithm works by finding viewers videos that they may like based on their previous videos and compared to other users. So to have a video/channel do well you need to cater to a certain audience (luckily "the audience" should be people like you so you really just cater to yourself) but you first need to teach the KZhead algorithm what your videos are about. To do this you simply need to upload and each time KZhead will get a better idea based on who clicks on it. So at the start its inevitably going to be slow but if you have good content that provides some value it will succeed. But don't focus on the growth as much as teaching KZhead what you're making, the more niche the videos the slower it will grow, but in the long run it wont matter if your making content you don't enjoy. So my advice would be make what you want and make lots of it, don't be afraid to copy, great artists steal, don't overthink it at all, just create and repeat. DON'T show your friends and family immediately, try to let KZhead learn who likes your content first organically. Oh, and if you have an idea that burns in your soul but you aren't sure if its good enough, just do it. Those videos will be the most like YOU and will find you the right viewers. If your struggling with a first video, just focus on recording some art, maybe introduce yourself, and post it, the first video will never succeed anyways because KZhead has no idea what that video is yet. Idk if this helps but yeah thats all I got. 😆
