The Goblin Barrel is starting to see more advanced plays in spell bait decks. Counters in this video are based on central placement as that’s the hardest to deal with.     • Karthik Sreenivasan I mean, it costs less and is an epic, not a legendary. It depends on the circumstances. If you're using a giant deck, go graveyard. If you're using a cheap cycle, goblin barrel is better. I've found that goblin barrel is harder to counter with troops than spells. With graveyard, you're forcing your opponent to put down troops. Barrel does less damage on average because people know different ways to counter it. Graveyard is riskier because it's more elixir, but it can do *SO* much more damage. If you've ever seen a skarmy and a giant on the tower, that's what graveyard does.

  • The best counter for Goblin Barell is Balloon. When they are at "sky" they can get into Balloon. When Balloon get to the tower, goblins jump from the balloon and attack enemy tower :).

  • 1:23 actually, I have zapped and had goblins only stab twice. You just have to have the right timing and stun them right before they're about to attack. Maybe this is another true red/true blue issue. Please fix!

  • Hey Yarn, i notice that skeletons will split evenly at kings tower if your are true blue. So before deploying hog, u can check true blue by deploying a 1 elixir skele to chk it out.

  • If you think about it, you could also counter it with your own goblin barrel. Just fire it at your own tower just as your opponent's barrel lands.
