I was happy to find your channel, and reviews are more helpful than most. The biggest thing I struggle with is most reviewers seem to frown on bass. I really like how you said 2 years ago that there is no need for the monolith M1061C, and the sivga pheonix was better and had more bass. Finally helpful advice and avoid waisting time and money chasing a rabbit. So many reviewers are vague and give no reference. Can you please say, if you like and want the bass, then this beats that...ect. I have bought so many headphones based on opinions that are out of sync. I'm now returning every dud. Can you do a bass roundup? Thank you

Thorough review as usual. Do you think adding measurements would be of aid ? I say that because in the Austrian Audio reviews you say they have a upper-mid and treble slight boost, but many people say the boost is unbearable for them. Maybe some measurements would help put some objective numbers to the peak/valleys ? Just a thought :)

Is that a Hiby R6? I love my R6 with IEMs, but not so much with headphones on SE Output. I auditioned a couple of headphones on SE Output (meze 99, sundara open/closed, ananda s, meze 109, hd660 ) 2 years ago. Except for Ananda and 109, everything else sounds sibilant / metallic. I also have the next which also doesnt sound so good on all SE Output of my portables. However, they sounded very different when driven with sufficient power by my desktop rigs. Gotta agree, need a/b test to hear which combo suits the listener

Vastly different. The 800s has less sun-bass, considerably greater clarity, separation, placement, detail and soundstage.

@No Theme Reviews "focal has non-existent customer service outside of France" - i don't know why you claim this, it's wrong. I get completely fine customer service here in Germany from focal.
YOU got customer service. I didn’t, and I’ve been told by others in the US that Focal doesn’t respond to emails. I’ve contacted Focal no less than 5 times to resolve an issue with my Utopia and Stellia, and never received a response. Despite my distaste for Audeze and AQ, at least they respond.

Last I checked, the US is outside of France. I know we Americans get shoddy education but we aren’t THAT incompetent. When a company that sells headphones which cost several thousand dollars each won’t respond, you should be far more concerned about their behavior than my (in your opinion) misuse of continental location. Try to keep things in perspective.

My point was and is that you shouldn't claim there is no customer service at all outside of France if you are just talking about the US. this might misinform potential buyers in your viewership that aren't from the US, now believing you that they won't get service, since they don't live in France. We (Europe, Germany) exist, and it's quite common for US folk to talk as if they are everything that exists. This is an example of this behavior, just because you folks experience something, the same must be true for everyone else right ?, that we might have different experiences isn't even considered. It's shit that you didn't get your service. And you can and got prior empathy for that from me. But that doesn't make it ok to either claim that we all are part of France or part of the US, or claiming that we don't get service, which is wrong. "you should be far more concerned about their behavior" should i really? As I told you, we get service, so it's not that important for our buying decision if Americans don't get it. (or if Indians or Chinese or Mexicans etc.)
