The fact that people are already driving at the speed of 250, and still get overtook by another car! Only in Germany ladies and gentlemen!
Yeah, in Germany autobahn my standard cruise speed is approx 150km/h sometimes with top speed of 190km/h. When I spot a headlights in rear my view mirror, in next second the guy overtakes me and in another second he is growing away... However, on German autobahn I feel more secure than in other countries where max speed limit is given but drivers are unpredictable.

I usually drive 160-180 km/h from Nuremberg to Garmisch to go hiking/climbing up the Alpspitze/Zugspitze. The fastest I drove was back in 98', 235 km/h in my Father in-laws Mercedes A3 between Frankfurt-Würzburg and I was easily passed by another 10 cars going way faster than me that day.

I think the most impressive aspect of that ride is how planted this car is at 211mph. Barely even a wind shimmy visible which usually gets exaggerated from the camera. Awesome. 😎

I have Experienced a fly By of a 7series when i was doing 150kph and From the look of it, the BMW was at around 300. i can Tell you its fucking Scary. I think driving above 200 should only be done on 3 Lane Roads or when there is no one in Sight.

And i am absolutely sure this car is extremely luxury even as a base model with almost no options at all

@@alien9114 because slow cars from time to time suddenly change to left lane, when driving behind trucks or slower cars. We have bad drivers in Germany too. And even if they check their mirror it would be hard for drivers in right lane to estimate the speed. Even when driving +200 km/h you have to be highly focused and ready to react and 340 is no comparison to that. in this clip you have two situtations where this would be possible. With three lanes its way safer
@@korsin Absolutely. Have gone over 300 myself in a Jag on a special piece of Autobahn, but only under certain conditions and not for a long time. Even constantly driving over 200 needs a lot of concentration as your mind always has to drive in front of you. Or to say it in other words: fun is different. Even more dangerous for foreign dudes with not much experience in constant high speed driving.

I automatically checked the mirror for him when he was looking up cause it do be like that. I drive in Germany at 260 max and i see supercars approach me as if im driving 100 and theyre doing 200.. at those high speeds the best you can do is pull to the right lane and let them continue flying 😂

they can have no limit autobahn because they are very serious drivers: always check mirror, drive at 250km/h on middle or right lane if possible, no flash, no horn, no tailgating, no drama, allow people to switch lanes and pass, always alert, always polite. You can feel you crossed to Austria from the shitty driving.

Personally I'd rather sail the highway in the luxury of the Bentley Flying Spur at 212 mph than 250 in the Bugatti. The $2,059,000 price difference isn't worth the extra 38 mph and lack of functionality.

I'm from the UK and have driven on the autobahn when driving through Germany to Tatra mountains in Poland. It was one of the best driving experiences I've had, clearly signed and it felt safe as everyone drove correctly, including not sitting in a fast lane if you're not doing at least 120mph or more... When returning, UK motorways seemed so slow lol, yet more dangerous.

@@benzamg1982 benzamg1982 I wasn't involved in the powertrain development. As you can imagine there are hundreds of engineers that each work on very specific areas of the car, and powertrain has its own department within engineering. I think they are the variable geometry turbos developed by VW and Audi that they use on their W12 . I can find out easy enough on Monday though

The bit that got me was watching the fuel guage go down as the speed went up. I understand that if a person can afford to buy that car then he/she has the money to put the fuel in and meet its' running costs. That is accepted. But, to watch the guage go down as quickly as it did is quite something. And an English registration on a left hand drive car too. What ever the reason, it was great to watch and thank you for uploading it. I would love to have been a passenger at the time. What an experience that would have been.

We don't have cops in Germany/Europe who drive around to see if anyone breaks the rules but we have blitzers. The police in Europe takes more care of real crimes than driving 10km/h too fast.

I have been chased and stopped a few times in the states just because I was driving + 10 miles faster. Never happened in Germany.
