The concept of trademark ownership is a Roman Dutch law idea which is contrary to African customs and legal systems. The whole debate on even Legacy Projects owning uMkhonto weSizwe is self defeating NGOBA lo ngumkhonto wabomkhulu ophathwa yindoda ngendoda in defence of his dignity. 29th May 2024 is a fight for restoration of that black African dignity. I use my Mkhonto for that and no Roman Dutch law idea or theory can strip me of that identity further than what it has done since the arrival of European settlers from the sea. Cha! Ngeke!
