  • Me and my partner couldn’t help but laugh at how relatable you guys are! We certainly wouldn’t of paid £17 for parking.. it is ridiculous! But it’s even funnier cause you guys are in a G wagon and Tommy was wearing a dior coat 😂

    • I'd recommend you guys spend the £150/year to support the National Trust, all the maintenance costs associated with keeping parks looking so lovely all year round and with the added bonus of easier access 🙂👍

  • Congratulations on the baby! If she’s still waking for feeds, feed her. 10 weeks is still very very very small. She will still cluster feed until she’s about 4 months.

  • For all the new breastfeeding mums out there worrying about your supply or the length of your feeds. At 6 weeks old 2 hours is normal. It's called cluster feeding. And you can absolutely get your periods back when breastfeeding and this is not an indication of low supply. I got my period back at 6 weeks post partum and I'm still breastfeeding 8 months on. Molly I'm proud you breastfed for 6 weeks but please be careful of spreading misinformation! Also 6 months is the norm and what is adviced by medical professionals for starting to drop night feeds for formula fed babies, not 10 weeks. So all you mummas out there who's babies are still waking for feeds... It's normal ❤

    @charlottegrix7399@charlottegrix7399 Жыл бұрын
    • Yes cluster feeding is totally normal, the baby is going through big growth spurts and developmental milestones at that age. Go with your baby, the more you feed them the more milk you'll produce. It does get easier, sleep when baby sleeps😊

    • I’m so glad someone put this out there, not going to lie it made me mad that she put this out there, not being horrible but other mums are going to think this it true facts, should def look things like this up before putting it out there

    • Omg molly if she’s waking up wanting a feed, please give it to her, she could be going through a growth spurt and your denying her food to help her with that 🙈 if a baby wakes crying, it’s because she’s either hungry, has wind, needs a nappy changing or she’s teething (a bit early for that though) I feel like your really need speak to a health visitor for advice 😬

      @Bex199@Bex199 Жыл бұрын
    • Yes, you need to offer milk every 3hours until 8 weeks and night feedings should be offered until 6 months. Definitely speak with a neonatologist before cutting the night feeding at such young age!!!!!

  • For any mums breastfeeding out there, please be reassured that your period coming back, fussy behaviour, long feeds and sucking hard is not an indication of low supply, but completely normal behaviour for a 6 week old baby. Saying that however it is absolutely your choice whether you with to carry on at that point (or any point) and 6 weeks is Still an amazing amount of time to BF, as is 6 hour or 6 months :) just please don't worry about low supply because of these things xx

    @BethJC1993@BethJC1993 Жыл бұрын
    • Totally agreed!! I went through all of that. It’s definitely not an indication of low supply. Just kept going and it got so much better. We are 19 months still breastfeeding. I think us mums need more help and support with breastfeeding, it’s actually more rare for a low supply to happen apparently? It just seems like we have low supply, especially if you try pump and barley get anything. That’s what happened to me but my boobs never reacted the same with the pump as my baby that’s why I wasn’t able to pump a lot I think! Truly hope these comments help other BF mums to push through if they feel like they want to. It is stressful thinking you have low supply but most of the time we don’t ❤️ the newborn stage is hard for BF but it gets so much easier x

    • Thank god someone said it! Breastfeeding can be such a hard journey - I'm so envious of everyone who finds it easy as I haven't! But I'm persevering. Insinuating that you have to stop breastfeeding because you've started menstruating can be really damaging to someone who might not have support or information.

  • It’s biologically normal for babies to continue to wake through the night. You shouldn’t drop their night feeds. 10 weeks is too little to stop night feeds. They are growing.. they need food! It’s actually recommended to slowly drop their night feeds at 6 months.. but even then they still wake up hungry. My baby didn’t start sleeping through the night until 10 months and stopped night feeds at 8 months.

  • Hey Molly, just some advice about the suit in the car seat. The risk isn't as much Bambi overheating, the reason babies shouldn't wear coats or car suits in a car seat is because the seatbelts are going to be sat on top of a layer of padding, rather than against the babies body, causing the harness to fit incorrectly, so if there was a collision or crash, bambi wouldn't be safe. A collision can happen 2 minutes away from home, and even if you're a safe driver. An unsafe driver could crash into you. Please research why coats/snow suits shouldn't be used in car seats for Bambi xx

  • If you a new mum watching this and you baby is feeding for two hours, it’s not because there is no milk there. It’s completely normal they are cluster feeding to up your supply and breastfeeding is so much more than just getting milk and just because you have your period doesn’t meant to say you have a low supply. Also at 3 not even 3 months old a baby shouldn’t have night feeds dropped if they are waking. I hate to be negative but it can be detrimental to a breastfeeding journey to hear information like this.

Because we live in a time now where more mums than ever are working, things like sleep training and schedules for newborns is being normalised when its infact so damaging to babies and will affect their development in many ways as they grow. Before women have children, they need to be very aware that they have to adapt their lives around the baby, not the other way around.

'From a developmental perspective, babies are able to sleep through the night - defined as a six- to eight-hour stretch - without eating when they're between 4 and 6 months old. In this age range, most babies reach the 12- to 13-pound mark, the weight where they no longer metabolically need nighttime feedings.' Xx

    • Honestly I don’t even think I left the house for the first month!! I was like a zombie! I don’t even remember the first 2 months of my daughters life due to sleep deprivation! But things really DO get easier and you’ll find your own way of doing things and your own routine and rhythm and you’ll start to adjust to your new life. No one tells you this stuff before you have a child. Or if they do it is glossed over! All the photos on social media of my daughters first month show her all beautiful and clean and snuggled up asleep where as If I’d taken a picture of myself I was in stained pyjamas with greasy Un-brushed hair and huge bags under my eyes! But we don’t show the world that side of being a new mum! Things will get easier for you and I’m sure you are doing a great job!!! Good luck lovely! Xx

  • It’s biologically normal for a baby to wake , it’s a protector against SIDS. Please don’t drop feeds this early the babies need to wake this young 🥺

    @charliec4260@charliec4260 Жыл бұрын
    • Absolutley! Really sadly the pressure to make babies sleep through is societal and honestly just adds stress for mum and dad! It is so normal for babies to wake be it for comfort or hunger or just because they have immature circadian rhythm. All babies will sleep through when they are ready. 😊❤️You’re doing just great! Xx

  • ☆ Cluster feeds and night feeds should be baby led on demand. Till they start newborn/infant solids so 4mths to 6mos depending on Pediatrician Doctor, baby, and parents. ◇ Also the thick suit in car seat is not so much for overheating as it is for safety in the straps. The thicker outfit means straps are not as snug to her. If she wore that to bed at night then yes overheating could be an issue depending on weather. ♡ Getting a period is not an indication of low breastmilk supply. Everybodys hormones are different so everyone gets monthly cycle back at diff times. How much she was getting while nursing is usually different to how much comes out whilst pumping. That doesnt mean she was not getting enough milk. That means that is how long feeds take her. □ My 2nd baby was same always attached to me. My sanity went bezerk but it was what baby needed for emotional affectionate bonding. My firstborn wasnt much easier. They are 7 and 3. Night wakes dont always get much better depending on ec kids personalities. What we want as parents goes out the window unfortunetly and we tend to our children how they Each Individually Require it ALL. 🥰😇😍🤩

  • As a mother of 3 small children I can say. They will tell you when they don’t need feeding. She’s waking up because she is hungry… looking for milk. Just feed your child in the night.. simple as that. I know it’s hard being up and being tired. But it goes so fast and before you know it and they are sleeping through..
