Is the nose button from Bowmar Archery worth it or is it just another gimmick product? Well, I believe it is. With the modest cost of $15 or so, this product helped me find a more repeatable anchor and feel. Are you running a nose button?

Love your honest reviews. Been debating about getting one also. May finally pull the trigger and buy one.
I don't regret it.
I’m a freak for having backups for my backups, and am a huge believer of the old saying that 2 is 1 and 1 is none, add that to the fact that I love tinkering with bows, and that is why I have 2 older PSE and 1 Mathews bow and all 3 have Bowmar nose buttons on them, I just ordered a new Elite and it will have 1 also, they are FANTASTIC! Thanks for a great channel, I’ve been a subscriber for awhile now!
I’ll probably have them on all my bows here real soon
I first though the nose button was a gimmick, tried it because it was on sale. now I wont shoot my bow without it. changed my whole shot process, like you, I was focused on just getting to the peep and skipped past everything else.
It’s a good product! Kisser buttons have been around forever and this is just their take on the same concept. Im a fan!
Exact same here. I'll never shoot without it
Nothing new here except Josh made it with those sharp little points. I’ve had nose buttons on some set ups for like 20 years. Using a $.05 rash nock set. Or you can just use some serving string. Can’t see paying such a ridiculous price for what they are.
Had a brass nock & serving string since my 1st golden eagle bow.... The colors tho
Great piece of kit. I’ll add the Bowmar peep aligner also. If you’re having fits with peep twist, this eliminates it.
For peep twist I usually just add a little piece of Dloop material in-between the peeping the top serving. Same thing...
enjoying the content
I appreciate you watching! Thank you!
Just picked up one because I’m having inconsistency with my kisser and feeling constricted because of it. Just put the button on the string and WOW. Feels much more natural and I have actually line up my eye perfectly with the peep/sight. Well worth the money. Do you know if you used the large or small and guide to which one to pick?
i have used both depends on the string angle for me. If im shooting a shorter axel bow ill use the bigger one and if im shooting a target bow or longer bow ill shoot the smaller one
When you set the button did you just set your sight at 50, draw indoors and line up the peep, button and scope housing? Or is it a go outside and look at a target and line up? Definitely getting one of these soon.
I’m sorry I didn’t do a good job explaining it. My sight slides from 50-125. Bowmar says to dial it to the middle of your range so I dialed my sight to 80~ and looked through my peep/sight like normal. I adjusted the nose button so it touched the part of the nose I wanted it to when everything was lined up. I don’t recommend drawing your bow indoor unless you have a target (which I do). Always be careful
@@jeffcordero_ thanks for the reply!
Used the nose button for almost 2 years and I love it. Have you tried a 4 fletch vs a 3 fletch max helical?
I have tried it and might make a video about it here soon… but I didn’t notice enough of a difference. I think whatever you fell is “the best for your setup” is going to fly best.
This product seems like a great option, I’m going to purchase one! Thanks hat sight are you running?
I run an HHA Tetra with their 4 pin slider scope.
What’s your bino harness? Great video!
Marsupial gear
Tried it and honestly hated it. Keep focusing on finding the button more than my proper form. Groups got way worse. Plus the whole law suit thing. Eh not for me lol
I’m interested to see how it effects my groups in a month or so. I can see how it can get distracting for sure.
@@jeffcordero_ I'd like to see a follow up on it as well. I just couldn't get it out of my head. I needed to learn to focus on anchor and shot follow through. May not work, but if you have a big enough target take your sight off and shoot close. Takes aiming out and you just have the release to focus on.
Never liked the kisser button, felt like I was pushing on my string but the nose button is awesome.
Would a kisser and a Bowmar nose button be ok? I like my kisser. Just looking for another anchor point and reduce face pressure as Josh showed in one of his other videos with the nose button.
Seems like alot but I don’t see why you couldn’t
Still using and liking them? Assume these are lighter than a kisser button? Maybe some speed gained if I switch, hmm..
little lighter than a kisser but yes, currently I'm still using one.
Great, thanks man!
Nothing new. Back in the 70’s we just used a brass nock made by Sanders archery.
No matter how tight you make that constrictor knot, that nose button moves.!
I’m curious to see if it does move. Cupola hundred more shots and I’ll know
@@jeffcordero_ I’ve had one on two bows now and haven’t had it move with hundreds upon hundreds of shots. But, that could just be me.
Tie a knot above and below if having issues
