  • FYI, the guy in suspenders is Carlo Driggs (28 y.o. then). He was the lead singer in Paul Revere and the Raiders. He's doing guest vocals here. The vocalist is Ish Ledesma and the drummer is Richard Puente (Tito Puente's son). This band supported the recording sessions of ABBA's single "Voulez-Vous".

    • I appreciate the background on this. While those men are credited with vocals, is there any chance they actually sang any of it? It feels like they hired session singers for a song they wrote, and took credit for it

      @Johnny-xj5qu@Johnny-xj5qu11 ай бұрын
    • @mebrn5337 no, that’s Ish Ledesma singing. If you listen to a few of their other songs and watch them perform this song live in Chile in 1980, you can tell.

I never saw this video, i have a collection even on vhs when i was younger i would record them . Watch back on them you realize alot of singers are performers.. they really don't play instruments, not even the band is playing, playing air.... and auto tunes, because the music studios did that to a lot of their voice.. but that's entertainment. Obvious ones were the ones always carrying their guitars. Lol like the jackson five.... they learn some as they got older. Lol
