ODESZA NEEDS to do a full blown orchestra concert
Piacabs have you watched them live? They pretty much do. But yes I agree...I want to see that so bad!
Apparently they did. My friend said it was a full orchestra when she saw them at red rocks
They have! And it was incredible! :)

ABSOLUTELY
I feel blessed that Odesza is around in my lifetime.
Me too. They bring me so much joy.
Seeing them live this year. Hope you get the chance to as well
I feel the exact same way
Beautiful soul
Saw them live . The most incredible performance I’ve ever witnessed.
saw Odesza at the Brandon Amphitheatre outside Jackson MS...... i am 63 years old..... it was an incredible experience.... the Lightshow was bomb, but the music was unspeakably Uplifting !!!!!!! as a guitarist/synthesist, i was floored !..... as a music lover, i was elevated !!!!!!!
paul torbert you go brother ! You’re an inspiration too. So true. I just hit 50. Music is the highest form of communication. Love Odesza.
Hello friends, I like music, I think it is difficult, any advice ☺️
THIS. IS ODESZA. ^^^
Bored in my house thanks to COVID-19, I stumbled across this performance. I listen to them when I'm training a ton. This was out of this world and angelic. I'm not sure what magic I just witnessed here. This is truly from the cosmos.
I think that this is the best live performance. Just mind blowing.
The live version of Higher Ground... holy shit
I get to see Odesza tomorrow night at the Electric Factory here in Philly. I'm a 6'5", 220lb born-and-raised hip-hop head from the Bronx, New York, and I openly admit that I'm probably going to cry like a bitch at the show. A very emotionally stable, secure bitch, I might add, but a bitch nonetheless.
DUDE HAVE A BLAST! I missed that show because I have to work :'(
good on ya brother
Dakota Shackelford absolute magic. It was the most incredible live show I've ever seen.
Amazing to hear, glad you had a blast!
Thats awesome. Enjoy!

Thank you 🔥
@@timmmychanga "timmychanga" 😂 *FANTASTIC*
This version of Higher Ground is so beautiful!!
Agreed! Naomi is sooo beautiful as well.
I was smiling the entire time! Gave me butterflies 🦋
I can't die before I see this guys live. Please ODESZA, come to Belgium! Or to any country in Europe I can reach by car or train.
Line of Sight was fucking flawless, they pulled it off so well
Naomi Wild. My God. Beautiful.
Thin floors and tall ceilings is my favourite.
one of the best, so underrated :(
Odesza is the only artist where I can play through all their 4 album
@@papag5303 true
That guitar ruined it for me
@@Simar2222 That guitar is the best part.
This version of "Higher Ground" is so simple and stunningly beautiful. It brought my fiance and I to tears as we heard it together. I'm a professional cellist, composer and arranger. So.... I wrote it out for my October 2018 wedding and it's what I walked into. I had a live string quartet playing, a mixdown recording of myself playing the keyboard part, and the vocal line covered sublimely by a professional oboist friend (because completely pointless trying to find a perfect silken voice like Naomi). I initially had all the percussion parts in the mixdown too, but removed them. I thought it would be lacking without the funky percussion but it wasn't... it was peaceful and beautiful just like the opening and ending. We both sobbed in joy as I walked to him and and together we found our higher ground. Love you Adam.
Hello, I love this. Would it be possible to hear it? Even just an audio clip. This is a dream of mine too haha
@@AZmotion I don’t think any of my walk in was recorded. I have the oboe piano parts in a file but not with quartet added. I hope to pay some friends to record that part with me but it is very expensive to get a sound engineer for just an hour. Do they have private messages on youtube? If so send me your email address.
Please do contact me!! It's in the 'About Me' of my channel. Thank you!

Line of sight is out of this world.
got me in the feels........
Holy I can't even describe this feeling, its something you cant describe
@@kickbackbecool totally agree!
When that brass comes in I can't help but get teary eyed
I have played Thin Floors and Tall Ceilings like a million times, and I'm still not bored of it...Odesza are totally amazing!!!
I think their current tours are about the music and the visualizations (at least that was my experience a few years ago) but if they did a truly live theatre tour w/ an orchestra I would pay anything to attend.
Painfully beautiful. We are so fortunate to have them.
ODESZA is one of those amazing bands that sounds even better live, so awesome to see them on KEXP again. WTB this version of Higher Ground!
Awesomesauce I said the same thing when I listened to them live for the first time
they make me cry too so beautiful
@@ByMnnT and now the sass.... But I DO AGREE
"Line of Sight" gotta be one of my fave O-dizzy tracks of all time. Rising ambience, juxtaposed melodic chorus sung by Wynne, haunting transition of "I Don't Learn," then the beat drops. When the background singer sings the harmonic "oooh-wooo-hoooo-ooo," done.
Perfect description. Love it.
I really do appreciate how much they care about delivering a serious performance every time, no matter where or what, or when.
Love these guys so much! Their live shows are pretty fucking magical, especially with the visuals! 💖
They were awesome at Sloss Fest in Alabama this summer ... what an atmosphere.
They are such an inspiration! The music is out of this world. I love them so much!
I haven't seen them live yet, but I will the next time they come to my city!
The amount of creativity that has been in that room is astounding
Once that beat dropped for Higher Ground, I got chills while weeping.
they are one of the greatest musicians. they literally take you out of your soul to another world. they will always have a special place in my heart❤️
literally clapping in my bedroom. so beautiful.
KEXP is the best radio station in the U.S. period.
it never ceases to amaze me how well electronic music can translate into live performances. Above & Beyond did a live concert a few years ago and it was stellar. This gave me goosebumps from the first few notes.
Thin floors and tall ceilings is such an underrated song. So beautiful.
Never seen Cheryl more stoked!
This is my favorite KEXP performance. The version of the songs are incredible and I love the way they incorporated the strings and wind instruments. Such humble, and down to earth guys who really deserve all the success they are getting. I like Cheryl Waters, but what is with the comment about not being able to sing at the end?Is it really a shame when the band highlights some incredible vocal talents from out of the mainstream? Maybe she was still in a dreamlike state after listening to all that beautiful music.
She was talking about WYNNE, she was being sarcastic and complimenting him.
This is the kind of music that gives me faith that humans are capable of so much more than appealing to the lowest common denominator. This is truly beautiful !! Thank you!
They're so humble. Keeps boasting the band and singers. Also with the stage lighting to editing perfection you know they treat their entire crew well. I mean come on what other EDM DJs pay for their singers to tour with them?! They deserve everything coming.
I’ll listen to this album until my dying days.
Bruh. FR THO
When he said there was an older couple in the crowd, 30-35 !! That cut me right through the heart
As a 49 year old fan myself, tell me about it. ffs… 😩 Clearly I’m ancient?
ODESZA has earned all the good coming their way.
Tears dropped and I don't know how! ODESZA creates magic!
This set literally brings me to tears.
This is way better than I expected. Such rich and lush things going on here.
I've just stumbled upon pure genius. KEXP delivers once again.
Finalllllly. I don't have to go back and watch the facebook live video to watch this performance anymore!
Great interviewer
They brought an orchestra, so sick! Seeing these guys on NYE in Denver and could not be more excited after watching this
Had the privilege to see them live last year and they were amazing. Wish they played this. Just mind blown. Imagine if they had a whole orchestra shit would be orgasmick
i loved their music before then i saw them live...no words to describe the feeling. i cried. I love when a group can produce music that moves you. love the positivity in their music. we can change the world with their jams
I love your post. Have loved this band for years and got to see them live in Denver this summer on their Last Goodbye Tour. Then they had a makeup show in San Jose so we flew there just to see the very last show of their tour. A friend pointed this video out to me, it made me cry tears of joy just as much as the music, both concerts and it’s played on our house every day
Wooowww Line of Sight really got me. This live version is INCREDIBLE. I'm amazingly moved.
Cheryl is always so sweet 🥰
In credible. Doing this live. So much love and respect. You are all amazing. Thank you.

Odesza is hand down BEAUTIFUL!
This is the first time I've seen any of their live performances. This music is so otherworldly and surreal that I forgot actual humans are creating this.
Legit.

Thin Floors and Tall Ceilings perfect song so beautiful !
No kidding, this is the best live studio performance i have ever seen on KEXP. The way they put together the strings along with the voices. This is just perfection. Get goosebumps with every song. Oh, and those trumpets on "thin walls tall ceilings". just wow!
Wish to one day experience this
The most beautiful music
A combo of these guys with the Bonobo live band would be amazing.
