Predator Hunting: SUPPRESSED® "FATAL FUNNEL"

2017 ж. 22 Ақп.
77 008 Рет қаралды

A 100% of the sets we make, we use the terrain to our advantage, in attempt to create an easier more effective kill zone.
In our case, using Ridgelines, and Draws, to direct our targets, into... the "Fatal Funnel".

  • Effective mythmaking: The slowly-building rock soundtrack the truck passing in front of the camera like it would pass in front of little boys observing it goggle-eyed on the street: "It's a Raptor!!" The out-of-focus dead coyotes hanging in the foreground as the truck comes closer. The never-ending wall of dead coyotes. A total slain that would content even Simo Häyhä. More slain being added to the mass of bodies. You can't see the hunter's faces. They are remoreless, implacable, unstoppable. Smash to black to the title of the episode. Further myth-making: "we don't know everything there is to know about predator hunting." Yeah, right . . . . Nice job!

  • Great video good clean kills and good patience. But that leg was not wounded by a leghold trap, I'm a trapper. It's too high up on the leg for a leghold to even reach and also not a good thing to say on the video. Antis take every piece they can to try to get their way and it definitely doesn't help out fellow outdoorsman particularly trappers. Happy huntin guys.

  • No doubt that is great filming. I am curious about their behavior. They acted like they were challenging something, tails tucked and the barking? I haven't really seen that before on a call. A had one bark at me for a while at about 450+yrds. I figured he didn't like the fat walking bush or what ever he thought I was. I'm not even sure they can see that far, maybe a sent. You guys are always well concealed, so I am wondering what got them acting like that. Really a great video. Thanks I always enjoy them.

  • Sorry, but I don't understand the idea for displaying the coyotes like you do, instead of skinning them immediately. The pelts deteriorate immediately they are subjected to milder days, so in my mind it is a mystery.

    @andershallberg6668@andershallberg66687 жыл бұрын
    • Well, then. Let me solve the mystery that is in your mind. All of these animals are hung, out of the sun, in the shade, none and I said NONE of them were exposed to any temperature above freezing while they hung. I sold every one of those coyotes for 60.00 this year. NOT one of those furs slipped or went bad. I hope now you understand.

    • ONEILLOPS .Hi.....UK shooter here, I manage red fox numbers on a few farms over here, I noticed the animals hanging up. Just wondered where the pelts go and what for, and how much you get for them, is it by the weight or per pelt or...??? Also does damage matter in the pelt, do you get knocked down for that..? Thanks for your time.

      @garytree7729@garytree77297 жыл бұрын
    • We keep them hung so they don't freeze to the ground, they are also hung in the shade so they are not exposed to the sunlight. They are all put up professionally, skinned, washed, stretched, salted, tumbled, then sold... This year we had a 60.00 dollar average which isn't that bad when you kill a couple hundred. Yes it makes a big difference if you put a big hole in them, many times they won't take coyote with a large hole, and if you hit it in the neck where the good fur is, it's usually a complete loss, not to mention any hole that's noticeable has to be sewn shut... Which is why we design our rifles and our handloads for our application, that is precision killing and keeping the fur in tact.

    • I've NEVER had a coyote's fur slip in the conditions we hunt and hang them in. FYI, I have every one of those coyotes skinned, fleshed, washed and stretched, put up professionally, so they can be marketed, nothing other than mangey ones go to waste. Man, I don't care where you live, what you think is easier to hunt, or if you think we're all show. I've got much bigger things to worry about. Take care, God bless, and Keep hunting.
