Robert, I have an off-topic question for you. I know you have KZhead shorts with you trying out the Covergirl Simply Ageless foundation, but I swear I saw you apply it during a long video too. I cannot for the life of me find that long video. I've used the search function on your profile. I've tried a general KZhead search and a Google search too, but have had no luck. I'm starting to think I dreamt it up. I have been using the product and want to re-watch you apply it (for longer than a 1 minute short). This is for the cream product in the round compact. Does this long video exist? If so, where is it? Back on topic, I agree with you about TikTok. My gut reaction was the same as yours, even though, principle-wise, I don't want to see my country ban a platform. The only beauty videos I every watch on TikTok are from you and creators like you, whom I found on KZhead, and otherwise trust. Also, I just need to see makeup on skin that still looks like skin. I'm in my 50s. The last thing I need to see is how makeup "performs" on a 20-year-old who has been blurred into nose-lessness.
Seriously need a tutorial on this eye look!!! 😍😍😍
the beauty community was already ruined the second influencers started making money out of lies with sponsors and social climbing.
🎯
Absolutely! I now side-eye all beauty influencers because of this! I realize there are honest one out there, but let be honest; it’s not enough to make a change in the community! They’re STILL lying to their audience for money
I like that you're blaming the influencers & not the platform. Though beauty companies who pay them share some blame.
@@teri2466 tiktok didn't put a gun to their head lol so as much as these apps can be problematic, humans still have freedom of choice
@@shayshaymann113 I'm so happy to just be the boring lady who sticks to the products she likes lol or I'd be broke and looking wack with the wack products they promote
“Sorry, my dogs just got home.” lol it sounds like they just went out to run errands by themselves and are finally home
😂😂 now I’m imagining his dogs coming in the door with coffee and mail lol
The thing I don't like about TikTok is the pace of trends it pushes out. It's influenced an insane amount of over consumption and garbage. It felt like KZheadrs followed trends, but TikTok makes them.
And the "trends" last like 2 days.
As someone literally in school for fashion design, the negative impact of fast paced social media like TikTok commercializing “microtrends” cannot be overstated
There are honest influencers and content creators out there! But the bad ones get the most attention.. because if the bad stuff they do 🖤
You are 💯 right about brands making things other brands make after seeing on social media, at first there was very few companies that make multichromes, now EVERY COMPANY is making multichromes...
Agreed. I honestly prefer KZhead.
so sad but true
As someone who grew up having to watch adds on free TV, I can't imagine watching adds as content 😅
100% understand what you’re saying!
I love KZhead. I haven’t downloaded TikTok, and I don’t plan on it. I love the long form. I don’t want to hear someone screaming “this product HAS LITERALLY CHANGED MY LIFE”! It gives me anxiety just watching clips of it! It just screams fake to me. The clips I’ve seen, they don’t even tell what color something is, it looks heavily filtered-how can anyone trust that? Hope you have a great day, Robert! 💜
Thought that was only me. Also listening to the creator/owner of tick-tock being interviewed and talking about how the platform is limited in his own country. Yeah no!
I only downloaded it because of school, during the fully online class period. And yes, there is a default filter on videos. My face did not look like me. Not only did the filter lighten(half okay with it) and smoothen my skin(so much that it I would actually say that my skin just got blurry), it slimmed down my face. Deleted that app right after I got graded for that assignment.
Agreed!
my algotrythm shows me chickens... hens, sometimes ducks, don't ask
better than undisclosed ads
I love chickens too haha ❤
You're truly winning sis 😂
Heavenly feed tbh
My older boys (18&20) told me they'd download TikTok if I started making chicken and duck videos with their brother (my youngest is 4). He is so cute with his birds.
I've avoided TikTok because I prefer long form content, but also, I'm glad that I'm at least somewhat inoculated against FOMO.
Same. I mean I tried to like it, but I just could not 😂
Yeah, I don't suffer from fomo in the slightest. I hate shopping and just stuff in general, I have a beautiful countryside home with the most gorgeous view so I don't care to go anywhere, and I don't care enough to follow what people are doing, buying, etc. I have come to enjoy KZhead shorts unfortunately. It's so easy to lose track of time with short form videos.
@@akira_arigaI didn't have TikTok for long but I do miss Henry Winkler and Jack Black on it lol.
You can also get most TikTok content on Instagram or KZhead, without the constant selling/FOMO. (I had to change how I watch KZhead makeup channels tho, cuz I definitely got sucked into FOMO when watching channels like Tati and even Angie Nyqvist.)
My best defense for FOMO, an empty wallet.🤣
I feel like TikTok is a really shallow platform. People tend to care a lot less about the people they follow and building any loyalty to the creator. KZhead is the place to go for people you actually admire and want to invest your time watching. On tiktok people care more about bringing creators down than building them up a lot of the time (from what I’ve seen). It’s not a nice place at all.
I definitely agree w your first paragraph.
On Tiktok, not everyone there wants to be an influencer. Just like the beginning of YT. But nowadays, KZhead is only for people who want to monetize, not even for their passion.
I refuse to install & watch it. I hav a paranormal account but haven't used it in the past year.
@@petarenae4823same here. I don’t want it on my phone. 🥴
@@karlyloi feel like most people go on social media to monetize. Even if they're not going the traditional influencer route. They create content to build a following, in the hopes of companies contacting them for sponsorships and/or their content receives monetization status. There's also hope for virality. It's all the same. But I prefer KZhead because I don't have a short attention span. 😆
The bigger influencers like Mikayla & Glamzilla need to lead by example. They both use incredibly heavy filters, don’t disclose ads & her work done & they deny it all. The fakery on TikTok is rampant.
I find Tik Tok so dishonest when it comes to beauty “influencers”! It’s all so false. They will literally try and sell ANYTHING - all the time. Everything is “their favourite” thing. If that were true they would have about 10 - 20 layers of makeup on everyday! Most of them just peddle completely rubbish products. I’ve also never seen so much stuff being put on people’s faces in their GRWM videos. It’s terrifying!
I hate TikTok. The disinformation about every topic, especially medicine, the dangerous challenges, the non stop changing trends that don’t last a week and so much more…… but you are right, not every thing is bad
It took me years to get on tiktok because I didn’t like it, as content creator, brands ask for tiktok so I joined in like 2021 or 2022 and man I still hate it lol I only look at makeup, cats and dogs because there is a huge toxic side to TikTok.
Mental health tik tok is the WORST!!!
Just wanted to share - my 5yr old daughter came up while I was watching. She said you look beautiful and your "voice is beautiful" ❤
I choose not to use tiktok because it's like twitter, it's too short and easy so there's a lower threshold for people to overcome to do something stupid or careless. On the user end, it's really shallow engagement because it's short, there's not enough time to create any meaningful connection.
I have never had Tiktok. Not my cup of tea.
My KZhead addiction is bad enough, I don't need something that's EVEN MORE addictive
@@vintagearisen Facts.
Same here. I’m afraid it will destroy my attention span like I’ve seen it do to so many people.
It needs to go. Too many children are being influenced by some so called influencers and their parents who allowed their children to watch the crap on TikTok.
But that happens on all the other apps too. Why ban just one app?
@@heathercoffey6speak on that‼️they already started restricting people on what they post on other apps. The American government simply did not like the fact that their citizens were gaining knowledge about what was going on in our backyards and that they could make money from a Chinese owned app. China doesn’t even have the same kind of TikTok Americans have 😭
In first place Children should not have social media ☹️
@@SoyAleJandraRuiz and that needs to fall on the responsiblity of their guardians, someone gave them had to had given them access, unbeknownst or not🤷🏼♀️
I don't do TT or any other social media because it bores me. I only use KZhead because it's my TV lol.
Tbh I don't think it's a purely tiktok problem, it didn't do this out of nowhere
I love that in the UK, it is MANDATORY that all creators put #AD or AD in their videos at the top of the screen and/or the first post in the description box. We need the same in the U.S. At some point it will come out who got fined and what they had to pay. and hopefully, it will scare everyone else to suck it up and just do the right thing.
I’m pretty sure that is the law in the US, social media disclosure laws just got more strict. The problem is people are just still ignoring them
@@Hannah-zw9owit is the law in the States too, like you said, some ignore it
It is the law in the US, just not enforced as it should be yet.
I feel like tik tok is just another app in the line driving out social media consumption. The whole problem lies with fast paced social media where everyone is trying to be relevant. This makes people do dumb/annoying stuff in front of everyone, trying to get views, pitting everyone against each other. But that's just my opinion. 😅
I have to agree!
I love Dermatica! They are amazing! I have genetic dark circles and when I completed the online form for consultation and uploaded pictures, they came back with a formula they created to suit my skincare needs and followed up with an email saying there isn’t a product to help with my dark circles. I found it so refreshing that they didn’t try to sell me a ‘miracle’ product. Just honesty and integrity, without unrealistic expectations. I would 100% recommend! 💜🖤💜🇬🇧
That is an impressive endorsement! I like that in a company. 💯
For every one honest influencer, there are a hundred dishonest liars that ruin it for the rest!
From what I’ve heard about things that comes from TikTok I’m really happy I never got an account. I basically only watch TikTok and the videos if it gets reposted somewhere else, or a friend sends the link to me. KZhead shorts has issues with how they’re pushing it, but the advantage for me is that a lot of tiktokers that post on KZhead
I 'not interested' 8 shorts in a row and now I only get them recommended every now and then, nowhere near as much 😊
@@nicolehawley912I’ve actually gotten the algorithm to show me stuff I want. It’s mostly people I have watched a lot of shorts or videos of or it’s things that are in the same realm of what I like.
@@apollolewis that really handy 🙂 I don't have the patience haha
I miss the early days when tiktok didn't exist and the og makeup influencers were still learning along with us. I remember how awesome it was when cassandra bankson (aka diamondandheels forgot the number darn it lol) was the first one to show us how to hide our acne and acne scars with her makeup techniques, but was brave enough to show her bare face and taln about how self love was important. I remember how it changed youtube and us girlies when it came to showing our bare skin and feeling good about it. I remember all the fun we had with trying new looks and no one was filtered and having their lips ballooned by overdoing the fillers and botox, and lying for sponsorships, heck i remember before sponsorships and how real their views on the products were! I miss it so much😢
I’m with you in that I hate the ridiculous TikTok beauty hacks like spraying setting spray directly over your mouth & nostrils or using a whole bottle of foundation just to go viral ect.
Mikayla, Glamzilla - nuff said
It must be really frustrating for honest and upfront beauty creators to be lumped in with the ones who give the entire bunch a bad name
I believe that tiktok has really ruined a lot of us. I work in retail, and had some children come in rating merchandise with “smash or pass” they walking up point and then rating… I don’t use tiktok(literally wanting to spell it like tic) I just hope it can be more informative than destructive.
Honestly, it’s been ruined way before this. Unfortunately it’s just too overwhelming and overly saturated in the beauty community/ skincare, etc. So I agree! 🤘🏼💜 Love you!
I have not, and will not, ever download TikTok. Instagram is enough, and I'm almost always on KZhead, it replaces my mum having the TV or Radio on all the time at home.
“Newt had always suspected that people who regularly used the word *"community"* were using it in a very specific sense that excluded him and everyone he knew.” ― *Terry Pratchett*
Robert is the only "beauty community" I need!
Love the eye look. I sometimes have the same problem with my eyes watering. Great conversation. I may not have TikTok, but I appreciate the conversation about this. It's important. BB Creams went out of style? lol. I still love my Korean BB Cream from Missha. I am a fan of long form content. I am set in my ways. 😉
lol this is such a Libra comment so Libra coded 😅 happy Sunday cutie
i think my main issue with the tiktok ban is… really? that’s what our government is focusing on? 78% of US citizens live paycheck to paycheck. a sickening number of veterans and mentally ill people are homeless. people of color are treated unfairly by the criminal justice system. our country is paying for the genocide in gaza. inflation makes it so that grocery, gas, and rent takes up a whole paycheck. we are in tornado season and people in my state just had their homes flattened… and they’re focusing on banning a social media app??? it’s just frustrating.
My government did the ban a few months back. They are just trying to divert the problem. A lot of older generations see social media as the main problem of the modern world but not the actual problems in hand like lack of job opportunities in my country. I do think part of the reason to ban is trying to maintain monopoly in social midea.
That part, they just don’t like that side of social media, specifically TikTok, that does inform and mobilize their followers. I found out a lot of what was going in Palestine through tt, and just as many other topics that concern me as a tax paying citizen of the US. And to be fair if that was able to happen to TikTok it will likely happen with every other social media platform that isn’t already owned by a big wig American. This is literally a breech on the very thing the founding fathers prided themselves in, the freedom of speech
@@3s_muycar0 i completely agree! they aren’t able to censor the information as much on tiktok so we find out stuff about palestine and other major issues in the country. tiktok may be annoying but this is a violation of our first amendment.
😂
😂
i’m so happy i never downloaded tiktok
In regards to the whole disclosing of ads business. It is getting out of hand. We as watchers need to be able to discern when someone is blatantly doing an undisclosed ad and when someone is just talking about products they like. I watched a short/reel the other day of a young Korean-American girl talking about her favorite skincare products. That's all. 5 products she loves. They weren't all one brand they were different brands. The majority of the comments on thay short were," You have to disclose when you are doing an ad."You should tell us when this is sponsored." Some times a person just wants to tell you about the products they like, but we have been so conditioned to unexpected ads that we think everyone is doing it now.
"pores, things hangin out my pores" lol!!!! that sent me
1:18 my frustration with TikTok has nothing to do with the reason it is even being banned, but has more to do with how the platform has developed into the chaos it is. Being someone with mental health issues that deal with emotional regulation and so forth, if I gorge myself into that space I mostly end up feeling more unhappy than I did when I started looking at it. Only exception is when I look for specific things to learn from there. I believe that all the solid businesses that know how to market that have been built on TikTok are very capable of changing their approach without TikTok entirely. It might be difficult for many, but it is possible. I just have the overall belief that TikTok has been a net negative for the beauty community specifically.
I've never been on Tik Tok, never will, back to the more important subject.......That eye look is STUNNING!!
my main issue with tiktok and reels is the culture and habit of sitting in front of ur screen for hours and constantly scrolling and consuming content. it’s created this idea that just because ur behind a screen, you can say and do anything you want. there’s so much negativity and hate all over these platforms and just people consuming content without being able to break from it or differentiate it from reality.
This has been the critique of the Internet since it began. What's actually changing is how fast everything goes, and continues to get faster. TikTok is a problem because such fast-paced scrolling with constantly new content, it erodes attention span and just encourages more disassociation. It's the elite form of doom-scrolling that used to be the domain of Twitter, which moved even faster than Facebook, the other other previous doom-scrolling station.
None of this is new with tik tok, especially not the anonymity bit.
I only follow a few beauty creators on KZhead, but not on TikTok. The content on TikTok is too short to provide thorough reviews. Unfortunately, the drama kept me away from the TikTok beauty drama. I went through Dramageddon and Dramageddon 2.0 on KZhead years ago. It is too exhausting. Therefore, I follow relatable, fun, and informative creators that do what they love..... Talking about beauty products and being honest about products they adore.
Yes you’re right, everything is so confusing. I end up doing nothing.
I have made it all of the years without using (or even downloading) TikTok. I stand by that choice ❤️🔥
TikTok is repulsive, in my opinion. The challenges have actually killed people 😮😳😢 There are people who have mental health disorders killing themselves over the negativity they receive. I personally want more than 60 second "reviews" of a product before I purchase it. I've seen some of my favorite KZheadrs changing to the fast paced TikTok format and think it's very sad. People don't even have the time to press the like button anymore! They have to get to the next shit video before the trend is gone 🤔
This is why I am so happy that I never joined tiktoc, and its informative content like this that keeps me away.
Omg ur eyes!!!! Same colour as my hair!! Mermaid vibes😍❤️🌹
That sounds gorgeous!
@@teri2466 thanks! Always subject to change 🙃I flip from mermaid (greens blues and yellow) to fire (yellow orange and red) and I do my eye makeup to match

I’ve never used TikTok and don’t intend to. I prefer KZhead content and would rather support creators like you.
It’s funny, I was watching Peter Monn talking about some not so honest influencer (her wedding was a series of undisclosed ads). And several folks commented that they only trust Robert and James. The fact that you address having integrity and following the law on disclosure of ads just reinforces that trust! And that’s why I stuck with you two after I found you, along with the fact that you are both very funny. Good job!!♥️✌️
And I love Marcus's editing!!
Wayne Goss can be trusted. He is a real makeup artist. But he doesn't really do reviews all that much.
You're truly featuring the most eye rollingest eye roll an eye roll can be 🙄😅
Love your input. Thank you for being a genuine creature who discloses properly!!! So much more respect! I won’t even watch creators that don’t. They aren’t reputable.
I don’t even have TicTok installed on any of my devices. From reposted clips, it seems disreputable to me. I appreciate the effort that goes into a well-produced, full-length KZhead video by a beauty professional such as yourself, or your brother. Don’t have a well-informed opinion about TikTok or its enthusiasts, but I prefer video content that is so enjoyable that I hate seeing it end.
I don’t watch any TikTok beauty , I just watch Robert! Can’t trust anything on thee without a professional eye
As soon as I saw the title to this video i thought Mikayla😂 I’m old school, in my 50s and i prefer honesty and integrity. For that reason I don’t watch tiktok. I have the app downloaded just so i can watch anything my daughter or niece sends me. That’s the only time i’m on tiktok. I just hear that the worst grifters are on tiktok and they scam and lie with no care and get rich. Not for me.
I watch a derm and she's always getting frustrated with misinformation about skincare, especially sunscreen, on TikTok. Robert, can you do a tutorial on that look? Gorgeous !
I actually live under a rock, and do not do tick tock! I have tried to watch some videos every now and then, but I have just never been a fan. I like watching videos on you tube where people, like you, lol, have actually put in the time and the knowledge of what they are doing. So thank you!!
The first thing i think of when the ban comes up, is my favorite brand. I came across a small business on tiktok over a year ago, and ive made over 40 orders from them since. The brand now has a couple million followers, but shes always collabing with other small businesses, and i just love the community on the brands page. Ive met a few friends from the brands comment section, so when i think about the ban, im mainly worried about the small businesses, and the people who didnt have any community before they found their community on tiktok. I really dont use tiktok, so i wouldnt care about me not being able to use the app, i would just be so sad to see all the small businesses struggle and/or close
There's plenty of time. If I had a small business, I'd start building a community like that on another platform/s.
@teri2466 yeah, its just a lot harder to get followings on other platforms rn. I'm sure that will change if tiktok gets banned, but yeah as of rn I know its a lot harder to gain a following outside tiktok
@@teri2466It is EXTREMELY difficult to get people to follow a creator on a different platform. There's people with millions of subscribers on TikTok and only a couple thousand on their KZhead.
Robert and James both dropping videos on the same day. My day could not get any better!!!!😊
It could - a Welsh Twins video! If only
Deleting my TT account. I prefer youtube .. love the longer content. Thank you Robert ❤
I got on TikTok “late” because I resisted it so long for the reasons you mentioned! By the time I joined the platform and started uploading my content, there was already conversations about it being banned, so I never took it too serious but I still built a small audience there and also discovered some creators I really enjoy! I enjoyed the “low-pressure” space to play and interact again. Finding QUALITY content (however measured) is like a needle in a haystack there though, and as a whole, TikTok has always been really overstimulating to me. I’m sad to see it go because like so many other creators, I invested time and energy into the platform. But it did drive too much power and influence to particular kind of creator and content type that I agree is obnoxious at best and totally reckless at worst. Maybe it’s for the best?? 😕
As a pro mua, tiktok had definitely influenced my clients, and not always in a negative way, but mostly. They want me to use certain products, do certain techniques, it's frustrating haha
The ban won't be immediate they have 12months we shall see what happens. I don't have tik tok I barely have time for YT 😂. But yes I like to see how certain products look before I buy them especially when it comes to online shopping. For example I bought MAC Whirl online without swatching it or seeing it up close but it looked nice on the ones I follow right? So I put it on and I wanted to apply to The Walking Dead series I would have been a perfect zombie after the way it looked on me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I learned my lesson🤪
I've never had a tik tok app or even watched their videos (only saw the ones on your Robert Reacts channel). Definitely interested in Dermatica, maybe they can give me something that won't affect my sensitive skin negatively.
I agree thats its definitely exacerbated a problem. Especially with short form content becoming so prevalent. I even found myself falling prey to it. Trying to get every release for the exact reasons you stated. I had to give myself a hard look in the mirror and say no. I dont need all this and this is just wasteful
Long form content on KZhead is absolutely my preference. Other platforms like TikTok, IG, FB, X, etc give me anxiety. Even KZhead shorts can stress me out. It’s too overwhelming, overstimulating, I don’t like the vertical layout, it’s all a sensory nightmare. Plus KZhead gives me more of a sense of control, what I want to watch and for how long, saving or downloading things for later, dedicated subscriber communities, etc.
I'm not on TikTok, so can't really comment, but I think the fast pace of it, combined with the fact it's aimed at younger people is contributing to the ridiculously fast turn around of products. No sooner have you seen something, bought it and are still thinking about whether you like it, another ten things are there. It's fine for content creators who get the stuff sent, and have beauty rooms to store all the products, but no regular person can keep up with this! And most of these items have use by dates (please stick to these as I've seen dreadful allergic reactions to out of date make up use) so you'd never get to use them all. Let's slow it down 🐢
Even outside of the beauty community, I've seen so many examples of Tik Tok creating toxic "trends"
Aside from your content, I’d just like to say that eye colour blend looks stunning on you. Your eyes look so beautiful.
Happy Sunday 🎉
❤❤❤ I'm 100% guilty of not knowing what real skin looks like on camera! Which is why I don't buy products based solely off before-and-after videos!
YAY! A new Robert Welsh video to make me happy :) Thank you for your beauty, Robert!
"Pores everywhere, things hanging out my pores..." I love you, Robert 😂😂😂
My only tik tok consumption is via youtube reaction videos...I refused to download it when it became a thing and Im so glad I stuck to my guns...one thing I have noticed though, is that it seemed like people were finally starting to trust certain brands again when we hit an era of loving the skin we are in and brands jumping on board...beauty has hit something crazy on tik tok and all of that trust we were starting to gain has gone out the window...mainly because we are right back into the dishonest brands, dishonest "influencers", and back in a weird place of not feeling comfortable in the skin we are in...its like the light switch has been flipped back down
I’m a beauty content creator and I truly try to be honest when I try new products. I also don’t try everything because I can’t afford to be buy all the new makeup and I use what I like or if something caught my attention. I tend to stick to the brands that I really really like so when I review new products it’s usually from a brand I’ve already used for a while. I do agree the fake reviews and pushing people to buy products due to payment has affected the climate of the beauty community in terms of social media reviews. There are a group that will lie and but not everyone does and it’s not fair to the honest beauty creator to be looped into that, but it’s so saturated that it’s hard to find those creators..
This is an eye look I want to see twice ❤
I can’t honestly reply to this because I’m not on tictok But I just want to say I love your eyelewk and how you were able to salvage it when you had a multitude of things going against you. If I hadn’t seen that video I’d never would have known. Thank you Robert ♥️☮️🖤 you look marvelous 🎉
thankyou for open, adequate honest ad disclosure - always. it's so good to see 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Tiktok ruining or not ruining the beauty community and tiktok being or not being banned are two separate issues tbf.
I don't have tiktok but I do watch a lot of KZhead shorts & Facebook/Instagram reels. I love the tips and tricks from makeup artists and I've furthered my skills using these videos. I'm not a fan however of how many ads there are and how hidden they are! I'll watch someone using products talking about their benefits and how amazing they are, then I see the hashtags that it's an ad, I feel it needs to be so much clearer! The way you announce your ads and sponsors builds trust, people hiding ads feels snakey
Absolutely 💯!! I can't stomach even being over there, and I create beauty content. I feel like i "have" to be there to try to get exposure for my other platforms. Tiktok is my least favorite to post on. It's very fake over there. I feel much more comfortable here on KZhead. Better connection with the audience, too. I consider so many of my subscribers' friends. I love tiktok for animal videos, comedy, and trust a handful of beauty creators. That's my two cents anyway 🤷♀️
That eye look is stunning! 💚
Your makeup is always gorgeous but, this green and gorgeous shape of shadow are next level. You look exquisite!

I don't have or use tiktok & most likely never will! But i find all the discord around it interesting! Thanks for sharing both the potential positive & negative impact it can have! & for your honesty!

Robert's ***smile*** when he hears barking. ❤😊😊😊 💜
Oooo!! Love the Green makeup! 💚 I want to be able to do this for my Poison Ivy cosplay.
Loving the thumbnail face Robert 😂😘
LOVE your makeup 💚 I completely agree 100%. I don't really ever use Tik Tok, so I wouldn't really be affected by the ban whatsoever. But I don't really want the more honest creators over there, and the employees and businesses all to lose their jobs because of the ban.
"my community discloses adds" the SHADE lol
The way you said your dogs just got home is making me think they went out on the town by themselves and just got back lol
Tik tok has ruined our attention spans . Gives you a false sense that things are so much quicker. And the filter ! Are so unrealistic so I totally agree with u there
The dermatica add came at the perfect time. I have realised that my usual skin care routine products start to make my skin burn and uncomfortable (after 2 years of using them) and i was thinking to look into other skin care products. I already completed the test and made an order for the balancing kit (cleanser and moisturiser) plus the personalised product. Fingers crossed that it helps ! Thank you 😭♥️
I'm not on the beauty side of tiktok so I never get bombarded with the 'influencer' side of things. I'm generally on D&D TikTok or news, or watching little skits like Hell's Belles. And the news on TikTok tends to a lot more unbiased than what one sees on tv and I often see stories that big media refuses to cover or would LIKE to refuse to cover if it wasn't for the viral coverage on TikTok. We likely would have never known about the genocide in Palestine or the horrors from the battlefield in Ukraine if the Palestinians and Ukrainians weren't able to get videos out onto TikTok. I'm not saying that there isn't a problem with TikTok, but I'm certainly wondering if the good might outweigh the bad.
You know what I might try dermatica, I find skin care intimidating, having a wash and one product routine sounds right up my alley
Im ALWAYS stunned by your amazing eye looks I love your videos ❤❤❤
This makes me glad that I don’t have Tik tok. 😂😂
Hello. Good Evening Robert 🖤 Happy Sunday 🖤🖤
I don't use Tiktok but I was watching the last series of Glow Up with my mum and we were surprised at the first task, create a transition tiktok using Haus labs product. The skill in designing, set up, filming, the make up, I was a lot! It was interesting to see young people taking that in their stride as just part of being an MUA.
Tiktok is very good at spreading information and finding connection and community. It's sad that that part of it will being going as well. Other platforms just feel well less personal. As far as makeup goes, its apart of consumerism. That part of tiktok is so unnecessary and moves way too fast. I still hate that all the good things will have to go too.
