I first heard this music in tom and jerry when i was a kid, though I laughed alot at that time watching their actions and praised the music somewhere in mind. Found this masterpiece again today, being an Indian couldn’t understand a single word but the composition is just phenomenal. Never fails to amaze.

Luego se sientan al frente, y allí esperan a que entre en escena el cantante Morschi Franz (que es tenor, pero canta como barítono) interpretando al barbero Figaro (que hace de todo en la ciudad). En el contexto del trabajo original de Rossini, la novia representaría a Rosina (que está atrapada en la casa de Bartolo, el novio, que es su tutor y que quiere casarse con ella a toda costa). El novio puede ser Dom Bartolo, que es el tutor de Rosina, un doctor celoso y avaro. El chico que se va a cortar el pelo es probablemente el Conde de Almaviva, un joven rico que está enamorado de Rosina. In the original context of Rossini's work, a bride would be Rosina (in another video, she is trapped in the house of Bartolo, the groom, who is her guardian and who wants to marry her at all costs). The groom would be Dom Bartolo, who is Rosina's tutor, to the charlatan doctor, jealous and avaricious. And the boy who is going to cut his hair could be the Count of Almaviva, a rich young man who is in love with Rosina. And regarding the groom's hair: when you watch the entire videoclip (of some 7 minutes), you'll find the sketch continues a bit, and Figaro gets to 'cut' the groom's hair as well. No idea why they left that off here - it kinda solves the jealousy problem so many people are commenting on as well.

im a rocker and classical music is definitly not boring , i love verdi, puccini, mozart, pietro mascagni, rossini etc yes most are italian and being a spaniard i understand some words, but italian is very emotional more so than any other . if you take a look at some rock music like pink floyd, procol harem , genesis, the moody blues and even some beatles they all derived from classical music.
