OMEGA MART LAS VEGAS: The Ultimate Tour & Review
Join me for a tour inside Omega Mart: one of Las Vegas's newest attractions located at Area 15. Usually I describe what you'll see in the description, but Omega Mart is nearly indescribable. It's a supermarket, it's an art exhibit, it's a museum... and it's expensive, it's $49 per person to visit. At the conclusion of the tour I'll share my thoughts and review of whether Omega Mart is worth the money.

Universal just announced they'll be adding a year round horror attraction to area 15.
@@samuelmunoz1464 If you think about it, Las Vegas is a great year round place for a major theme park. Universal is smart to go in.
kzhead.info/sun/oq97gc-xfpV9paM/bejne.html
This place seems non-euclidian
Whoever thought of this attraction is super creative.
They sure are! And rolling in the dollars!
More like super creepy.
They have sold their souls
Super creative in what? Getting tourists to spend those ridiculous prices ?
@@FinnedFusion Do you know how expensive the place would have been to create??
I went here recently. It was amazing and I spent 6 hours trying to piece together the story. MeowWolf really did great with this and as far as I know, they're still adding more. It's just awesome!
6 hours! Impressive!
@@YellowProductions Yeah, there was a lot to do, but it was mainly due to a lot of walking around trying to complete all the tasks there. There's also the part where you get to choose a side of whether you want to fight against or for DRAMCorp, but I just chose to do both because it was fun. It was also super fun to find all the secret entrances to the Forked Earth!
@@YellowProductions do you guys still have to wear a mask in the u.s? Here in the netherlands they scrapped that a few months ago. Seems like corona suddenly disappeared. No signs on shops, no masks, only disinfection stuff in some places wich no one uses. Very strange times. Don't let the fear control you :) the media is responsible for telling more lies than truth
Wow! It has a story? Thanks for sharing!
@@friedrichnietzsche4569 Yeah! They give out cards for those who want to experience it. Easily the most fun I've had at a place that isn't an amusement park.
This place is insane! I went because of all of the creepy ads I see on the internet, I was not expecting it to be this cool! The story took 4 hours for me to finish, I loved the lore and characters in the story. The theme was amazing. I really hope they add a chapter 2 of some sort. And to anyone wanting to go, I highly recommend it if your into sci-fi.
Appently there's more content behind the source door but no one has found the real/hidden code so far to unlock it
many anime, mangaka and gaming Playstation/Nintendo gamers went to this place
интересно, когда в россии такой же магазин появится....
Can you imagine having to check through the entire supermarket for visitors so you don't lock them in all night?
Nightmares
Security cams cover 90&% at least.
@@mdaveyphoto i work at a large hospital and security cameras only cover about 20%. The grocery store i worked at a few years ago had no security cameras covering any of the isles of grocery, dairy, produce, bakery, or freezer. The vault didnt either...
But in a place like this with the amount of hidden spots at twisting hallways there’s probably a ton
@@Bluebird_Bumthe vault I can probably see, not having security cameras....
Recently visited with my daughter. Thought spending over $100 in a art supermarket was crazy. Once in, daughter had the biggest smile. I'm thinking, for what. My daughter said, "Dad, just follow me." We went into the factor to view art, secret tunnels, and rooms. After 2 hours of up and down the factory and facility exploring, we realize we need a card to get started. Finally, the real experience began.
Sounds like you got your monies worth 😀

I loved it. The whole Area 15 experience deserves a full, dedicated day to actually appreciate. We spent almost 2hrs inside and still didn't see everything in this video.
Definitely Gene!
only 2 hours??
@@SpicyRen Yeah, we had a late start and didn't know what we were walking into. We went deeper down the rabbit hole the 2nd time around.
@@genekeith7 ah ok
A bit of negativity from people who don't understand the purpose of an art exhibition, but I would LOVE to go here. It looks like a very unique experience to explore. Thanks for the neat video to show it off. Next goal is to see it myself 😊
Thanks Stitchlife!
Because of the high price tag. People are struggling to put food on the table, and most people are living paycheck to paycheck.
@@joeybaseball7352 I completely agree to agree the paychecks are just not paychecking lately so it’s difficult to go there to not go there
@@joeybaseball7352 those people can simply not go to omega mart.
@@joeybaseball7352 It's not meant to be regular store. You can still shop anywhere else, yk?
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks Meow Wolf! Ya'll built an awesome place!
Oh cool it's meowwolf
This place is AWESOME. I can see people coming in, shopping, then leaving and not noticing that its a huge interactive experience. I feel like my husband and I spent at least 2 hours here and we plan on planning future vacations around other Meow Wolf attractions like the one in Colorado and New Mexico.
Just went to the Original Meow Wolf in Santa Fe New Mexico and the experience was worth the trip there. Any time you open a fridge in a kitchen in a big mysterious house and walk in and get lost its a wild trip.
I have not been here yet but seems pretty cool. I love the outskirts of Las Vegas more than the city many times.
Yeah. This is definitely not something that would be on the strip. Probably a little too weird for any of the big strip corporations
I can't imagine how many millions this place cost! It looks amazing. I've never really cared to go to Vegas until now.
Theres wild nightlife party vegas and then theres artsy foodie explorer vegas. I only do the later
same here. the reason I’ll b there, if WW3 doesn’t prevent it...
Don't worry..they'll get it all back.. charging so folk can spend ..smh. maybe I'm too old..but I don't pay to spend
@@molly1949 it’s basically a theme park, that’s the whole point
I love the idea of art being this immersive experience. You get to choose every detail for someone to discover. That's so cool.
The first couple of minutes, I was like, “Eh, $50 bucks for an artsy market?” THEEEEEN, once YP walked deeper and deeper into the experience, I was like, “I’M READY TO GO THERE!” The whole thing has a weirdness that’s right up my alley. I would really love to go. 😊
so glad they decided to base a real store off of the videos. in a sea of bland creative bankrupt buisnesses. this brings back a sense of creativity. it would be amazing if it could become a chain... .as long as we can escape once we go in.
Actually I think they're connected
I think there had been talks about opening up more OmegaMart sites in other cities
That looks really cool! When you first was showing the supermarket portion, I was thinking that Omega Mart was a huge tourist trap. Thankfully after seeing the other rooms and exhibits, it looks incredibly worth it! I'll have to check it out sometime!
Hah.. yeah. I wasn't really sure what I was getting in to either.. until I walked thru that cooler. Then I was like "Ohhhhh"
I literally thought the same thing!
I went here last June and it was 100% worth it. I didn't follow to much of the storyline last time. Hopefully I can make it back to Vegas sometime this year, I'd want to actually follow the entire story with the boop stations
I feel like this is an experience that even if you watch videos you'll still be surprised and amazed when you go to Omega mart. Watching videos and experiencing it irl are two seperate things and the creativity and interactive experience really seems like the price is gives is worthy. Also I think $49 for a place so big and expansive seems like a good price. Like by the looks of the place you could spend hours just exploring and interacting with everything like just wow. I haven't been to Omega Mart but I think I'm going to put this on my list of places I want to go.
Hi Chris. Area 15 is an interesting place and Omega Mart is the best attraction thee.I think the $49 is not bad for a very interactive ,fun and unique thing to do. Just make sure you dedicate enough time to truly get the full experience. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Yes. I think people could easily not allocate enough time
so what if you didnt know about the secret rooms? then you pay 49.00 to stand around and look at fake cereal boxes? doesnt seem fair if you dont see everything there is to see
@@delcodave I imagine you'd eventually see the entrance through the cooler
@@delcodave you'll probably see an employee or someone go in there
I think the price is fair for the attraction, plus it keeps the place open and pays the artists behind it
This is officially going in as part of my and gfs honey moon trip to Vegas this year. Found it after it showed up in my Instagram feed and holy hell I'm glad it did. It's cheap. Affordable. You don't have to pay for a entry pass when it's day time. There's so much to do. You can even purchase the artwork in area 15!!! But I bet it's expensive as hell. And so many shows! So much to do! Omega Mart must be some sort of massive gift shop/chill zone. Bc that's what it looks like to me
Enjoy your honeymoon trip!
This place looks and feels like a fever dream, and honestly I’m all up for that
I love the dreamcore-weirdcore aesthetic of this place, I watched all of the commercials and went here and this is just so real! I've always wanted to go here and actually to do it was a dream, I hope I get to go here again because I didn't go at the best of times for me :)
Wow it’s crazy how many different rooms and art there is!! I’m very impressed
Pls protect this place at all costs I wanna go here one day
As soon as he said” it’s like a technical glitch here” I lost internet😂
I went there last summer. Loved it! Yes it’s a little pricey, but so fun.
It’s like when your a kid and you sort of half understand everything in the store, so you gravitate towards touching everything because it’s interesting to you
Thank you for the great video Chris! Watching this again right before we head there today!
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it!
10:23 the artists that created this are a husband and wife duo named Alex and Allison Grey, veeeeeeeeeerry trippy brightly colored art (they’ve also done the art for tools album covers) their style is PERFECT for an attraction like this
I wouldn't be surprised if they bought out an entire abandoned mall for one of their exhibits. That would do absolute gangbusters.
My family and I are going to Vegas for Spring Break just so we can visit Area 15. This video is very helpful . Thank you!
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it!
This is the one thing I wanna do when I go to Vegas next month. Its my number one thing.
Cool thanks. I was skeptical about plopping down $50 for a supermarket, I didn’t know about all the other stuff
There's something about this thats eerie and just gives me a creepy vibe. Like think about going there alone at night and the lights are dimmed. Kind feels like one of those creepy dreams you have but can't explain
I go there tomorrow, im just excited, so I’ll watch videos of it all day long
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video
Thanks Rich!
Thanks for making this..as someone who has seizures I could probably not go to this but it's fun to see it..I would love to go if it was safe for me but I doubt anyone would want a major emergency happening. Thanks for sharing
Definitely more of a Dreamcore/Weirdcore approach! Its super cool looking.
This place is where you go when your mind has been unlocked and it's time to explore the other dimension, in another dimension! Spent 5 hours here, and 1 hour was in just one location! Craziest "trip" to make in vegas! If you know, you know! ✌🏼😁✌🏼
Going to Vegas 4th of July weekend. Already bought our tix for this. This is the only channel I trust to review this place
How was it?
Very cool exhibit and tour. Reminds me of the Dismaland art project.
Love they actually go to the effort of making their food remixes actually buyable edible versions of the food
Thank you so much for doing this walk thru. I've been to Santa Fe and Denver one. This is super helpful.
Which were better of the two, if I may ask?
That is absolutely incredible!
This is soooo Trippy. Man , I haven't been more excited to plan a trip in my life. And quick question, Are the chips And Drinks edible, or just Art. And just Subscribed. You definitely got my attention 💯💚
I don't get this at all, but my daughters who are 17 and 21 know all about it and were excited for it until they saw the price. Apparently there's a whole community they follow on KZhead that is really into this stuff.
Yeah. It's not cheap for sure
It's basically the Illuminati disguised as "art".
Its in Vegas everything is expensive
Considering where I live something like this would cost 100$ +.. this is crazy cheap for an all day adventure.. way cheaper than most attractions
@@tiffanysbeautyhouse755 i totally agree.
Thank you so much for sharing this I’ve wanted to do so long now
Thanks Jon!
Thanks for doing this video ✌️❤️😊
We will definitely have to put this on the list when we go to Vegas in August. Thanks for a great video Chris
Thanks Cathy! Definitely worth a visit when you're in Vegas for sure!
Going here next month and I’m super excited!
I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
Amazing! I love stuff like this .
Amazing… I love it. I just went to LV 2 weeks ago but did not know about this place.
I love that there are so many places to sit; it makes the difference between amazing and overwhelming. Many places don’t understand the importance. The same is true at the one in Santa Fe. I think it’s called House of Eternal Returns.
This really looks like a visual Art of Noise in a surrealistic chocolate factory. I was waiting for Max Headroom and/or Willy Wonka to materialize into the scene, at any moment. I suppose the novelty factor alone is worth the price of the admission, once. A great walking tour.
Well said.. this is for sure a cross between Willy Wonka and Max Headroom
Im pretty sure he put "OUTDATED" in the titles + this was 2 year ago the backrooms has changed
This is definitely on my bucket list!
THANKS FOR THE REVIEW
Thanks Linda!
Omg 😳 this has to be based on dreams! I feel that I’ve been here through inter-dimensional travel!
The Meowolf in Denver is huge. My favorite and more expansive than the rest. The Santa Fe location is also really cool as well! I would love to see your review of those locations someday!
I'll put them on my list Jake when I'm near by!
Denver is the very last one I have to go to and then my collection is finished
Is this meowwolfs supermarket?
Thanks for the review.
Thanks Karen!
Definitely gotta go here asap!
I went there today. Its worth the price…I explored for hours and left only because I was worn out. Its trippy, artsy, fartsy, kooky, silly, and my grandkids took a nap afterward…a great day.
Thanks for the report S W!
Lots of psychedelic overlapping with systemic stuffs. Love it. Makes me feel like I’m on a shroom or dmt trip
Never had a bucket list but now this is the top of my bucket list
Great video! I always see billboard about this place when near McCarran airport, always wandered what this place is 👍
We were going to go to the one in Denver. But decided not to because it seemed so messy and too chaotic. A lot of the the reviews said it had no direction. I love how neat and yet mysterious this one looks. I wish they’d make them all like this 😢 Thanks for the video.
Thanks Daniel!
The vegas one was absolute chaos. If you like to explore and read and think about the things you're seeing, dont even bother. Kids are running and screaming, it feels like a playground. You get shuffled through each room because the pace of the mass amounts of people are moving so fast you can barely stop to look, and when you do someone is either bumping you or literally reaching over you to interact with the thing you were about to interact with. Its the worst art/exhibit/whatever thing I've ever been to. But the rooms are actually awesome. Which makes it even more annoying. Although its smaller than it looks online and sounds when described.
@@CrunchyTire well how disappointing. Instead of art they’re more like tourist traps. Will avoid. Thanks for the honesty!
I've been to Vegas many times and done many things while there. By far, this place is my all time favorite. Well worth the $50!
Awesome Diane! I really enjoyed it too!
LOL I clicked on this thinking you are about to review a supermarket i never heard of Im glad i stayed LOL and subbing LOL
I enjoyed almost every frame of this video.
man i would love to go there. its so big and wild. im sad ill probably never be able to go.
To me it's not a spoil alert it's nice that some people had the money to be able to go and do those things other people don't have the money order time to go to different states and explore things like what you're doing now and I thank you for that
This looks so cool!
Когда впервые смотришь это видео или любые другие видео про омега март появляется загадочная атмосфера какой нет нигде. Это поистине необычное явление
i didn’t realise that omega mart was a real place, i remember seeing an ad for it a while back but didn’t think much of it other than being some new horror thing shame i can’t actually go there lol, i’m broke and live in the uk. i’d love to go.
This would be a trip on a trip
My sort of place! Thanks for the the video.
My pleasure Jerri!
Most of the stuff I've seen so far about this kind of triggers my trypophobia but it does look very interesting at the same time, maybe sometime in the future I can go here with my boyfriend and face my fears. Though my boyfriend has autism so he may be a bit sensitive to some things and it's definitely something I'd need to talk to him more about
I always wanted to go! Did you buy anything and if so what did you get? This place is so intriguing to me.
Hi Becky.. I didn't end up buying anything.. too many choices! :)
Bro, I went there there in summer of 2021, and it was absolutely AMAZING!!!!
Thanks for letting me know that I’m gonna look into the dramco story
I would love it, but I could never go. The lights would make me pass out cold.
This should be a backrooms level 😂
this is awesome!! id love to go sometime
I'm so excited to go! I never thought that i would ever go to omegamart in my life but I am
That is a lot of cool stuff. I think I could easily spend a few hours there and I would feel dissy with overwhelmed over so many stuff and trying to not buying it all. 😅
i saw one you tuber said they spent four days there trying to unlock/find everything 😳

The crazy thing is that the guests look like the researchers in Dreamcore. I could totally see my daughter working on an Art project like Omega Mart. She looks at the world through a 1980’s imagineer’s lens. I can’t wait to take her here.
Dude, that mirrored Alex Gray type room is super dope. I'd feel like I'm in a Tool album...
I’ll have to see this next time I’m at Area 15. I came back from Vegas last week after an eventful weekend with my wife and her family (celebrated my Lil brother in law’s 21st birthday) I didn’t get to go, but most of the other attractions in Area 15 and the Illuminarium are cool. I’ll definitely come back to also do more axe throwing.
How do they manage to have their shelves full of stuff? I go to my local Target in the west San Fernando Valley, and they're out of a lot of things. :/
People are stupid enough to waste $49 dollars to enter a damn glorified grocery store so they don't have money to buy the items on the shelves. Yet people complain about gas being high.
@@mikem957 this is not a real store.

Man, forget the backrooms The OmegaMart is a scenario straight out of trippy web stories and games I can't really put into words but the OmegaMart would be in the same vibe as the Bar Outside Reality type thing I cannot describe places like these; but if you spend enough time in the internet you can find places that are usually trivial (supermarket, bar, bathroom, etc..) but will be integrated in a game, story, or something else but with a vibe like it's something outside our realm of reality It's something niche that I haven't found a name to yet; but certainly you've found games (Stanley Parable for example) that integrate every day scenarios and add an existentialist twist to them
I know exactly what you mean, I love the surrealistic atmosphere of these places. If you like games with this kind of vibe, check out anemoiapolis
@@Lareya7 Anemoiapolis is more liminal, like the backrooms What I mean isn't necessarily horror But existential surrealism, like what the fuck is a a bar at the edge of reality
Oh wow, turning Omega Mart into a video game in the same style as Stanley Parable would be such a great idea! Where you kind of just mess around and explore and uncover the story as you go. Especially if you keep dying and restarting and that's part of the plot.
This is so not fair. I suffer from severe Epilepsy and I can't go 😢. That looks like an awesome place. I'm glad I'm watching your video as this is about as close I can get to going so thank you x
Great video
There is lore too. MatPat's videos on Omega Mart is where I found out about Omega Mart. One of my favorite parts of those videos is when MatPat spots a box of cereal that looked like it said "Simply Spiders," but there was small text that said "does not contain" in between "Simply" and "Spiders." However, the small text looked like it was supposed to be part of the name of the product. The reason why it was funny is because it looks like it is saying that the contents were just spiders from farther away, but is trying to say it does not contain spiders.
Ya I think we all pieced that together at the end
Check out the Omega Mart notice at 4:32, it mentions SIMPLY does not contain SPIDERS. LOL
Imagine walking in thinking it was an actual store
Imagine losing your kid in one of these
