Today we take you back to one of our adventures when we were still on European territory. While we had this place on our to-do list for quite a while now, little did we know if it was still accessible and possible to visit.
To our surprise, the door was still open making it possible to explore another beautiful house in Belgium.
Today we're documenting the life of an older Belgian couple. The property became abandoned a couple years ago after its last inhabitant, Mr. Karel, was transported to a nursing home where he passed away a few years after.
Nowadays, the home sits in silence waiting to be lived in again. With working power and computers still turned on, this was another explore for in the books we'll certainly never forget.
Enjoy the journey along with us, as we explore this place and give you a new insight in the Belgian culture and how these people used to live.

No entiendo porq. Las llaman abandonadas. Puede ser q. Los dueños no vivan en el mismo país. Nosotros dejamos la casa cerrada por 6 años porq. Vivíamos en EEUU. En ese tiempo la casa se deterioro y la grama y arboladas crecieron y era triste el panorama; pero la casa estuvo sola por ese tiempo. Más no olvidada por sus dueños. Hoy en día regresamos y se ha restaurado la casa. Aunque. Muchos creían q. Esa casa estaba abandonada pero no era así. Solo necesitábamos tiempo y dinero. Así q. Da pena cuando Muchos entran a esas propiedades privadas y violan cerraduras o puertas y hasta se llevan cosas como si eso no tuviera dueños. Yo espero q. Uds q Hacen un buen trabajo no den ubicaciones para evitar bandalismo. Cuídense mucho. DIOS les bendiga y no olviden Cristo los ama.
Чистый, милый и аккуратный домик. Всё так красиво расставлено. Посуда, бокалы, всё стоит так, как будто они только вышли и скоро вернутся обратно. Спасибо вам за историю
Возможно, так и есть. Люди могли уехать на заработки, или супруги решили съехаться к кому-то одному, или внуки оставили этот дом себе на старость. Думаю, людям будет неприятно приехать и обнаружить, что кто-то шарился в их доме. Эти молодые люди и сами понимают, что дом не заброшен, а просто им временно не пользуются, иначе не шарахались бы от машин, и не надевали перчатки. Какого лешего шастать по чужим домам, страна маленькая, расстояния тоже, машины вон ходят, и люди либо вернутся, либо продадут этот дом. Это не Россия с заброшенными колхозами, разрушенной инфраструктурой и волками на тысячу верст. Люди могут увидеть этот ролик и пожаловаться в полицию.
@@user-qx1xg9ef6d нет ,не так . Дом заброшен : плесень ,следы крысиного помета На разных каналах он есть . Для нынешнего поколения ни дом ,ни мебель не представляет ценности ( лишь для малой части коллекционеров ) . В современных бельгийских домах и квартирах другая уже мебель и предметы быта. К тому же чаще всего легче отказаться от дома ,чем платить огромные налоги на наследство и ТД . Ценность имеет только земля.
@@user-fd2cz2mc4w поверьте, это неважно, почему кто-то имеет право залезать в чужой дом??? Разве у них есть полномочия? Например , у меня тоже стоит дом вот уже 10 лет, я там не бываю, но он мой. И что, если меня там нет , то кто-либо может там шариться? Странные у вас понятия о нарушении чужих границ! И, кстати, мебель стоит очень добротная и дорого стоит сейчас, посуда- фарфор. И думаю ещё немало ценных вещей.

Hace 20 años emigré a Bélgica, esta es la típica casa de los abuelos hé visitado algunas muy parecidas. Existen los llamados Kringloopwinkels donde se donan todos los muebles, etc o los familiares los restauran para su uso o los venden. La mayoría de los jóvenes descendientes (si los hay) renuevan estas casas y el precio es muy alto, pero en Bélgica hay muchos ancianos solos que no quieren ir a un Hogar de Ancianos y prefieren quedarse hasta el último día en sus casas. Todos los adornos de porcelana y en cobre se pueden ver en las casas de muchos Belgas aún. Les sugiero usar máscaras protectoras, las casas abandonadas tienen muchos hongos que producen enfermedades pulmonares. Gracias por el video.

I loved the picture of the dog. Like you said they lived a long life. So it's not really a sad place.
This explore left me with the feeling that there was a loving family who once lived out their happy moments here.

good idea but I would be scared living somewhere I don't speak the language.
THATS what I'm sayin! I totally get the whole 'take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints' HOWEVER, I believe a structure has life when there is life inside of it. Many abandoned buildings and house I've seen on video could either be restored or straight moved into. I think material items deserve to continue their journey through history too. As opposed to just rotting away or falling to the wrecking ball.

This house is super cute! It gave me a beautiful feeling, so warm and cozy! I loved when u lighted the room. Make it really nice! Just imagine the family sitting there all together, laughing and enjoying good time together. My fav room in this house. What a lovely home.. how can the family let it just sit there abandoned and alone.. feels like there was so much love in this place. Except for the bedroom where no doubt the owner passed.
This was definitely a lovely find. Again so sad to see this home left to the elements, I hope it gets rescued before then. I really love how you present your videos in a very caring way looking though the house and leaving it untouched. 💕

This was a lovely home and you respectfully treated it as such. I was saddened to see the bedroom where it appears someone had passed on. It was rather heartbreaking to see all of the couples belongings just left behind. God bless them, and I hope they are safe in Heaven with Jesus. I love this channel, and keep up the great work.

I hope you talked with the neighbours so they could secure this place as it would be a terrible tragedy if vandals and thieves get in to ruin and destroy. I do wonder who pays the utilities and whether someone watches over the place.

That is not just an old people dog, it is a good dog for people who are disabled and can not handle an Irish Wolf Hound! I would love to have seen you on the chair lift if it was working. They can be a bit 😱! My first time on one I had a death grip on the arm rests. After about 100 times, I still close my eyes but do not scream!!!
I hope you guys closed the door even if you found it open. Beautiful home, I would love to live in this house. It looks ready to move in..... something about water in the basement, could be a leak from a pipe. :( The bed stains are most likely caused from the people themselves. When people get older they have a harder time getting to the bathroom in time or they were bed riden. It's sad 😔 getting older . Love ❤ this, so simple and comfortable living. Hope someone takes over the place while it's still fairly repairable.

En cuanto a esta exploración, puedo decir me encantó esta casa, ya puedo reconocer el estilo cálido y acogedor de las casas belgas y aunque sus dueños ya no están sus pertenencias hablan por ellos, los imagino como una pareja de ancianos muy queridos por sus nietos, personas de gran religiosidad, uno de ellos o ambos en algún momento presentaron problemas físicos para desplazarse. Los años vividos se notan en esta casa, el estilo de sus muebles, su colección de figuras de porcelana, la vajilla y cristalería, me produce tristeza pensar en ellos, ya no están, pero al menos su casa está bien conservada. Sorprendente que los servicios básicos aún estén en funcionamiento y sus computadoras encendidas. Mis favoritas, las estufas, las lámparas del living y comedor y la figuras y otros objetos de porcelana. Se agradece sinceramente esta nueva entrega, muchas gracias chicos son los mejores.🤩 Hasta la próxima aventura, saludos muy cariñosos para ustedes. Cuídense. 🙋♀️🇨🇱😍💖🙏
