Today was our first day of jumping and I recorded my jumpers. They basically have 3 types of flaws. Missing checkpoints, rushing their positions, poor timing. This video I explain how to move through each checkpoint and what to do moving forward.

  • i’m a sophomore and i needed this video really bad i have no technique whatsoever i just jump. I hate to be cocky but i jump 18’7 as a sophomore and that’s enough to win most JV meets, if i perfect form i really do believe i can be great.

  • Hey Coach Keinan, I'm a junior who currently jumps 19'9 (indoors). Do you think I could possibly reach 21+ ft. by the end of my spring season ? I am hoping to jump for a D1 school, where I emailed the coach and they said I need to be around the 22 range for active recruitment.

  • You have to be a naturally good runner in order to be good at long jump. If you have *no* speed you *won't* get far. So if anyone signing up, you need to be a good runner.
