Welcome to today's trading tutorial where I dive deep into the "Master Pattern," a transformative approach that significantly impacts trading outcomes across various markets. Whether you're dealing with stocks, forex, or cryptocurrencies, understanding this pattern is crucial.
In this video, I break down the three critical phases of the Master Pattern: Contraction, Expansion, and Trend. Focusing on the Expansion phase, I explain why many traders experience losses and how you can turn this knowledge into a profitable strategy. By analyzing market behavior and trader actions during this phase, I highlight common pitfalls and teach you how to position yourself for success.
You'll learn:
- How to identify and understand each phase of the market.
- Techniques to harness the expansion phase for maximizing profits.
- Strategies to trade with a directional bias based on time frame analysis, ensuring that you're moving in harmony with the market's flow and not against it.
This comprehensive guide not only aims to educate you on avoiding common trading mistakes but also equips you with strategies to enhance your trading decisions. By the end of this video, you'll have the tools to identify key market phases, understand the underlying dynamics, and make calculated moves that align with institutional trading patterns.
📈 What You'll Learn:
1. Identifying the Master Pattern in any market.
2. Detailed breakdown of the Contraction, Expansion, and Trend phases.
3. Strategies to profit from the expansion phase without falling into common traps.
4. Applying directional bias to your trading to align with higher time frame trends.
5. Real chart examples to illustrate how these strategies apply in live markets.

Seeing as how there are 48 30 minute candles in the daily chart….that could be some decent losses on the 6-12 pull back candles. Not really for the scalper. Def pretty cool on the 30 minute down to the 5 minute candles. More my style.

  • So however many expansion legs you get on the higher time frame determines how many expansion legs it will take to enter a trade on the lower time frame? Not sure if that's what you were saying at a certain point in this video.

    @y_b_c_g_m9559@y_b_c_g_m955918 күн бұрын
    • The amount of expansion legs is determined by the consensus across the higher time frames. If there is no commitment on the higher time frames, there is no one to hold their positions for longer, which keeps price crashing back into the range.

  • Grr I hate expanding markets. I take many different styles and strategies of trades and seem to get caught up with breakout trades. This is addicting because it has same pattern when breaks out. Only way to beat it is to short/long close of candle with tight stop predicting reversal not a tick above last candle. Inflection point so those get tightest stops for me. But either your buying a tick above breakout or opposite of color at close of candle. Especially those huge candles that close and never retrace the tops. Loose a few catching the tweezer top but pays back 3x when it breaks

    @rombusworkmoney22@rombusworkmoney2220 күн бұрын
    • Because of the nature of their business, banks typically trade over longer time horizons, and they trade much larger positions because they are trying to make a return on a much larger sum of money. So their size, and time in market is what greatly contributes to markets holding stable directions over the course of days and weeks.

    @fattydaqqy@fattydaqqy18 күн бұрын
    • You should draw it on 2 time-frames that pair well together like 1 minute and 15 min /1 hr and the purpose of drawing HtF is to see if your master pattern is trending , expansion or contraction once your HtF is trending switch to your lower timeframe and look for your Master pattern and place a trade below or above fair value area
