Julaine Blasi left a great legacy for designing the z4 for bmw. Its absolutely timeless. I had one and no plans of selling it in the near future. Its for keeps.❤

I own the 23i sdrive because I want an NA 6 cylinder engine mated with a manual transmission. It’s slower than the 35i but it sounds even better and is even more engaging. Love that car! Great to see someone who really appreciates this model.
The NA models are also cool because of how linear the power curve is. Great car!

I have the 35i and I absolutely love it. For 2 reasons you can use it as a daily as it has a hard top and plenty of storage but also because in summer it’s a true roadster. It’s the best of both worlds. I’ve had mine 5 years and do not intend on selling any time soon. Btw I love the spec on yours mines blue with black interior. Keep up the great content.

Thank you. IMO this car is not that great of a daily. Not a lot of storage space and the suspension is kinda stiff.

@@SpanishconqeroSeems like it wouldn't be too impractical. Love the idea of having an E92 and then you get a Z4 for your "daily driver". Definitely one of the more unique situations I've heard of. Good luck!

Really like this model but any reliability issue yet? The n54 is one of the famous engines that need more care.
I also have a z4 35i and I think it's the best car for the price it has. Finding a flaw in this car is impossible, because it has an exceptional engine, it is convertible, it has rear-wheel drive, an enviable gearbox and breathtaking shapes. I am Italian and in Italy it costs about 1000€ of taxes per year plus it consumes a lot of gasoline and the tires behind do not last long given the high power. If these things are not a big deal then it is the perfect car for a sports car enthusiast who likes to have the wind in his hair.
Raise the taxes, and fuel cost. I'll only grind harder! It's worth it.

One turbo is trouble, 2 are double trouble some say. "Normally aspirated" six is still an argument.

Best part is when you give someone a ride with the top up who doesn't know it's a convertible and then you lower the top. Literally blows their mind!

Pretty cool huh? Although, I do hear that the new Z4 has a feature where it will half-raise the roof if you hold down the trunk button so you can access all your stuff without putting the roof up which is a bit more practical!
@market_car yes I have a new Z4 I sold my previous model after a test drive. As fine a car as the previous Z4 was this new generation was the new car is a step forward. The boot thing for example the new car is undeniable more practical then the technology in the interior. Also as the previous model is now coming at best ten years old mechanical issues are inevitably starting to creep in. As I said I enjoyed my previous generation Z4 but its simply not in the same league as the new car, saying that it's to be expected for the extra cost

@market_car this time of year (winter) definitely even with the car in comfort mode and it's electronic rear diff it's all to easy to light up the rear end

I got a big single turbo kit on my z4, pushin 700hp. Had for 2 years now, will never sell it. I’ve owned 2 other n54 bimmers 135i, 335i.

35iS owner here and never selling mine. There's only 391 in the UK.
This roadster's design still looks pretty good today, and somehow not a world apart from the current G29. In fact, lesser points for G29 because it doesn't have a hard top.
i have this and love every bit of it ❤ a true beauty -- also i have the hayabusa and as you said its so true it is exactly like suzuki hayabusa of cars love them both perfect pair. I already got 100s of offer on this never selling it its even rarer in india anf 200 mile radius its the only 1 😊

30i manual with M package here, never gonna sell it ! It surely would be better with 300+ hp, but the NA engine is just special enough. Would have loved to see a Z4 e89 M with S65 engine, there's plenty of room in the front for it !
The NA aspect of the 30i makes it really special especially with the manual transmission. Amazing car you have!
What exhaust is that? Look like a Remus bit dont see any available for 35i/is :(
It's a Remus catback, although it was purchased like a decade ago so they might have discontinued it

Maybe a manual Z4 23i. Definitely not the 3 liter ones.

Believe it or not, I just got a call from the dealer who informed me that the seller ACCEPTED my offer!!!! 35is, Stage 2, full BMW service history, looks like a BEAUTY. An identical twin to yours, just this one is white :) Picking it up early next week! Just so you know, we may meet in Serbia this year, as I'm originally from Subotica! ;) A beer and photo session would be great! :)

Wondering if drilling tiny holes along the bottom would help. A cheap fix if it works.
Z4 M40i is 382hp, not 335hp
Its a wonderful car until the electrical harness , that operates the hardtop, dies, one month out of warranty

E85 Z4 is a sex machine. It's the most timeless looking car in the automotive history. Not this GT boat sized hardtop 2nd generation Z4.
Sorry, but the Z4 E86 coupe is much better looking than this. The E85 roadster wasn't attractive.
The Z4 E86 coupe is in an league of it’s own!
I'd rather buy a supra. Pretty much the same car, but a lot rarer, and way better looking.
The supra costs like 3x as much though

I have the 2011 roadster, recently bought a laser etched, lighted wind restrictor "perfect day" and i caught a bunch of girls making their tik tok 😂 Oh, and it doesn't matter what people drive, if they are by my side on a red light they compliment my HANDSOME BRUTE
