You can still get 2 es packs in those divergent tins with the typhlosion etc for 25 bucks comes with 2 astral and 1BS. I think for the average person that's a way better deal because the box is too expensive now

It’ll still climb, but it’s such a high entry point right now. It would have to hit 1400 for you to double up. Meanwhile you could get 4 or 5 boxes of silver tempest and they’d only have to get to 280 for you to double up. Id bet Silver tempest hits 280 before evolving hits 1400. Depends how long you want to hold

I didn’t get into ES Booster boxes as they had already jumped lots in price when I started on my investment journey, but I did manage to pick up lots of ES PC ETBS. 26 to be exact at £85 per box average, they are currently sitting at around £150 each 👍🏼

Speaking from a collectors perspective: Modern Day Moonbreon is what vintage 1st ed shadowless zard was for the old era. With that being said buying evo skies at 1k if you still don't own it is a good buy. why? Moonbreon is THE GRAIL card of the alternate art/pandemic era i'd argue and say it's superior to latias & latios alt because the demand is purely way higher on it than any other modern card. Now if team up with mid tier alt arts can push 2k I know the argument its short print blah blah blah well evo skies has the highest demand in modern pokemon history don't think print run will affect it at all imo. Realistically speaking 1k is still too low on it's potential value since moon kitty pushing $900 rn means evo skies has a potential ceiling for 2.7k-5k since most booster boxes are worth 3x-5x the top chase card
I picked up a booster box the other day for $580 USD through a local Facebook Poke group. This one will be held long term for my kid to inherit someday so I had no hesitation at that price.

It can definitely climb. Look at the price of Cosmic Eclipse which was overprinted. I choose Brilliant stars and Lost origin because it's cheaper.

@@myronsbrother7305 Of course, $400 easy next year if it sells out soon. All the newer sets have bigger potential than the first few sets. The only guarantee though is every set will be worth more than retail. So be careful how much over retail you pay
With how fast it just exploded from $400 a booster box to now in just like 2 months and also a bunch of singles exploding in price the past month or so I can't help but feel like some market manipulation is happening here. Like no doubt evolving skies will go up and it has like 50 awesome singles that will go up but it shouldn't have jumped up this fast Also the thing is there are tons and I mean tons of sealed evolving skies sitting in people's storage. It's been known how popular it is and the singles so there are tons of sealed sitting in people's closets or basements or storage units. Like I fully believe that there is more sealed evolving skies in people's personal sealed collections than all other sword and Shield combined. So I do think it will go up but there is definitely a limit. There is way more evolving skies out there than team up or cosmic eclipse and other sets
The two month jump in price occurred as people were all getting their tax return money back and people by and large see that as disposable income. If they are into Pokémon or Pokemon investing and they just got $1,000 or more dropped into their account, their first purchase was almost certainly the ES booster box. If nothing else because they just want to be able to say they have one and believe it will within a year be $1,000 a box. A lot of people do have the booster boxes stored away, but that only means that a fewer pool of people are going to be setting the market price for it in the future in order to make sure that they are able to triple or quadruple their money.

I would say too late. I think the prices may go up a little but most are near peak. Then again, I think the same 1,000 people are buying and selling these things to each other to drive up prices. With the amount of PSA 10 Moonbreons out there the price shouldn’t be what it is for that card. But hey, market gonna market I guess…
Dude it took 5 years for Team Up to reach 2k.. while it took only 2 years for Evolving Skies to nearly reach 700.. if you do the math, Evolving Skies clearly has so much room to grow.. no way thats near peak.

you don’t watch the channel if you’re saying this. evolving skies has been out for almost 3 years there’s no hype in it. the fundamentals of the set is what is driving the set up and will continue to do so. just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s “hype”
