  • 0:11 Always loved that little tune. It evokes the perfect "tragic fairy tale" ambience. Sorrow, loneliness, mystery, desolation & hope all wrapped up in the same fourteen notes.

  • It’s crazy how songs can make one person feel many emotions that no other could describe. It brings back a sense of nostalgia and sweet innocence just by a simple tune. Music is an interesting thing, as it plays with emotions as well. I’ve seen many people say this song makes them want to cry, but not upset tears like happy tears. Cry out of feeling an exhilarating emotion they don’t know how to describe and it’s an amazing feeling. You’re truly at home💖

  • Once upon a time, in a far away land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish and unkind. But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within. And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart. And as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there. Ashamed of his monstrous form, the Beast concealed himself inside his castle with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year. If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast

  • Its incredible how a beautiful melody can tell a story without words, the moment I heard that piano when I was a kid it immediately caught my attention. I can hear the whole transformation throughout the song, the tragedy the sadness the mystery the phantasy and the beauty. But most importantly there is a scene at the end of the movie where the Beast is fighting Gaston and he's about to kill him and suddenly he remembers everything he went through, you can see it in his eyes and the melody starts again, there's no need for words just the song was enough to invoke so many feelings so fast and then he has mercy on Gaston and he let him live and also when he dies and finally transforms into a beautiful human, wow. Truly a masterpiece.
