  • Looking forward to the headlights and how you fit them , and if you recommend them I think I will change mine as the original headlights are like candles. Can you show when wiring up the seats how you do it please .

  • Might need silicon in the roof rail holes. Transporter T6 needs it as water gets in through the bolt holes, might be same for the caddy.

  • I put 8V S3 seats in my Caddy. Theres a guy on the Caddy forums who will make you a complete plug and play harness so the electrics, footwell lights and 3 stage heating work (will need to purchase a set of heating controls). Harness plugs into the factory fusebox and uses all OEM grounding points

  • Are you hooking up the 4x4 on that Caddy? That would increase your smile factor when you are hitting those back roads. By the time you have done all your planned work on it, it will be generating it's own gravitational field. Winning!!! :)

  • Nice upgrades mate ....I'm surprised the bolts for the seats worked I had to slightly get longer bolts for my golf R seats to fit with touran bases ....look forward to more progress

  • Great project, great video series! 11:50 The moment I realised how hard it will be to convert this to 4motion. Caddy and Transporter have the Hladex unit in front a the gearbox and a beefy rear axle instead of all other VAg cars which have the TT´s layout...

  • Great video as always. Nice to see the work being done and makes me want to do something similar. The unit is amazing and the lift saves so much time and effort. Working on the ground is such a pain. The Caddy is superb, a real wolf - not in sheep’s clothing anymore! Stylish, up to date and appropriate. How about some black mastic to fill the gaps on the wheels arches?

  • your arches are for a LHD shorter wheel base caddy, ask them to swap for a LWB RHD set!!!!!

    • Potentially! But the replica arch kit I got is off a U.K. based company, and the real Alltrack is LHD SWB (afaik) - worst case I’ll get that one side modified
