“Behold the Lamb of God” is a song that has been, for a while now, my heart cry from the depths of my spirit. This song comes from pain over a world of evil, injustice and destruction; from a sense that we have forgotten our first love and from the comfort of understanding that through it all, the Lord is waiting for us with open arms to return to Him like a son returning to his father.
As I started sharing this song with my loved ones, I was excited to realize that the words of this song touch their hearts, too. To be honest, I cannot easily call this a song. It is more of a project.
In my personality, I enjoy the end product and tend to go through the process as quickly as possible, but I must admit that I enjoyed working with each of the people who took part in this project.
There couldn’t have been a more perfect way to work on it than with the people here, who are so meaningful to me, and with my young children, who were enthusiastic and cooperative throughout. There were more close and precious people who could not participate this time, but they too were a part of the process and supported it; also those backstage and behind the camera. I just want to say to you all: Thank you.
I believe that creativity is not just the end product, it’s the process. I am so grateful to the Lord for the people He placed in my life.
And now, with all the difficulty we are experiencing as a people and country, when our soul cries out to Him, only the Lamb of God Who carries every sin, He alone stays at our side, strong, steadfast and faithful! Forever!
